Mrs. Gossett died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Sept. 15, 2000, in Cullman County to John Teddy Quick and Maudie Willbanks Quick. She was a retired U.S. Postal Service worker and a former resident of Pell City. She was the mother of the late Myra Gossett.
Survivors include one son, T.M. Gossett of Pell City; one brother, Teddy Othell Quick of Agawam, Mass.; two sisters, Bernice Nowill of Agawam and Janice Marie Griffith of Hartselle; and two grandchildren.

FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. -- Funeral for William Howard Gray, 91, of Fayetteville will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Burt Watkins and Tony Demombreun officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today after 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Gray died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, at Lincoln Regional Hospital. He was born Jan. 21, 1909, in Lincoln County to William Riley Gray and Oma Myrtle Locker Gray. He was a retired farmer and a former elder at Liberty Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine Eddins Gray; one daughter, Gloria Turney of Decatur; three brothers, James Riley "Jimbo" Gray, Robert "Bob" Gray and Leland W. Gray, all of Fayetteville; one sister, Lizzie Mae Smiley of Fayetteville; and one granddaughter.

Mr. Morrison died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, at his home. He was born March 21, 1930, in Walker County. He was a retired building contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Methel Faye Morrison; two sons, Van Morrison of Bear Creek and Eric Morrison of Double Springs; four daughters, Sheena Luster of Jasper, Deborah Farley, Kelly McKissack and Annette Brown, all of Double Springs; two brothers, Thruman Morrison and Charles Morrison, both of Michigan; two sisters, Willodean Kimbrough of Haleyville and Juanita Duckworth of Hahira, Ga.; and 14 grandchildren.

Mrs. Patterson died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, at her home. She was born June 20, 1932, in Limestone County to Daniel Benton White and Ivy Louise McCartney White. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fairview Baptist Church and the Missionary Women's Union. She was the widow of Marcus William "Pat" Patterson.
Survivors include three sons, William Ronnie Patterson, Marcus Patterson and Bobby Patterson, all of Athens; four daughters, Jo Ann Woodall of Decatur, Stella "Buttons" Ferguson of Madison, Ivy "Toby" McCune and Brenda Riggs, both of Athens; one brother, David White of Dothan; one sister, Johnnie Jean Loggins of Elkmont; 20 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Sidney McCune, Matt McCune, Willie Patterson, Chris Patterson, Daniel Riggs, Marshall Riggs, Logan Patterson and David Woodall.
Grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Phillips died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, in Birmingham. He was born May 10, 1930, in Allgood. He was a retired engineer and a member of 25th Avenue Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II and the Korean War. He was past master of the Center Point Masonic Lodge No. 872 and a member of the Shrine Motor Corps of Zamora Temple and International Order of Odd Fellows.
Survivors include his wife, E. Lovina Phillips; two sons, Stancel D. Phillips Jr. of Birmingham and David Phillips of Decatur; two daughters, Carrie Price of Atlanta and Ninfa Austin of Pinson; three sisters, Glenda Moon of Raleigh, N.C., Janice Allison of Huntsville and Reba Cobb of Louisville, Ky.; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Jarrett died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, at his home. He was born Aug. 16, 1912, in Morgan County to Ruby B. Jarrett and Sarah Blevins Jarrett. He was former pastor of Penn Church of God near Danville and Lebanon Church of God at Speake. He was a retired farmer. He was past president of the Alabama State Singing Convention. He was the widower of Eva Rebecca Steel Jarrett and father of the late Bobby Ray Jarrett.
Survivors include one son, Charles Jarrett of Sidney, Ohio; three daughters, Reba Garner of Athens, Geraldine King of Hartselle and Rachel Lamar of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Mrs. Looney died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Aug. 16, 1926, in Lawrence County to Travis McLemore and Annie Maude Aldridge McLemore. She was a retired school teacher with 32 years of service at Cotaco Elementary School. She was a member of Beltline Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Walter L. Looney of Decatur; one daughter, Martha Looney Letson of Hartselle; three granddaughters and one great-grandson.

Survivors include two sons, Wallace Owel Posey of Moulton and Malcolm Posey of Decatur; one daughter, Wilda P. Cottingham of Courtland; one brother, Rubert Posey of Moulton; three sisters, Elizabeth Arthur of Haleyville and Linnie Sue Mitchell and Mildred Lawrimore, both of Moulton; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
