Mrs. Broadway died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at her home. She was born Feb. 26, 1924, in Decatur. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was the mother of the late Richard Carter Broadway.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Carter Broadway; one son, Philip Edward Broadway of Athens; one daughter, Marsha Denise Broadway of Orem, Utah; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.

Mrs. Creel died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at Crestwood Medical Center. She was born May 19, 1956, in Illinois to Willie Thurman and Mavene Wilson Thomas. She was an engineer for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville. She was the sister of the late Janice Dianne New.
Survivors include her husband, Eddy Creel; one stepson, Randy Creel of Huntsville; her parents of Somerville; one sister, Patricia Hill of Hartselle; and one grandson.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Hill, Norman Smith, Norton Smith, Wiley Looney, Ricky Dean and Eric Fowler.

Mrs. Jones died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at the home of her daughter. She was born Dec. 6, 1921, in Russellville to Homer D. Coffey and Jennie Morris Coffey. She retired as a rural letter carrier with the Sylacauga Post Office after 33 years. She was a member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church. She was the widow of Edgar Jones.
Survivors include one son, Charles L. Jones of Panama City, Fla.; one daughter, Phyllis Henson of Lucas, Texas; one brother, Homer D. "Dick" Coffey Jr. of Centre; two sisters, Helen C. Johnson and Geraldine C. Horton, both of Sylacauga; five grandchildren; and four great-grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Joe Owens, Gordon Varner, J.W. Jones Jr., Al Huddleston, Freddie Godbehere and Roger Forbus.

Survivors include her husband, James L. Survivors include her husband, M.M. Patterson; one son, David Patterson of Huntsville; five daughters, Judy Lett and Susan Mayes, both of Hartselle, Janice Bowers of Mobile, Carol Jarrett of Danville and Cindy Murphy of Falkville; one sister, Fern Johnson of Somerville; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Ms. Stephenson died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Oct. 24, 1917, in Morgan County to Claude Stephenson and Eva Elizabeth Landers Stephenson. She was a member of Danville Baptist Church and a retired Kroger's employee after 34 years of service.
Survivors include one brother, Claude Wayne Stephenson of Hartselle; and two sisters, Hilda Stephenson and Lazelle Stephenson, both of Hartselle.

Mr. Coffield died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. He was born May 5, 1912, in West Virginia. He was a retired electronic technician who worked at Toledo Scales. He was an elder and a member of Westview Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Army veteran, who served in the 311th Infantry Headquarter Company and the 72nd Lightning Division during World War II. He was the grandfather of the late Jill Jamerson.
Survivors include his wife, June P. Coffield; one son, Franklin Coffield of Athens; one daughter, Joyce Jamerson of Lakeland, Fla.; one brother, Joseph Coffield of Belpre, Ohio; one sister, Margaret Walker of Colerain, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
