Mr. Crowe died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at his home. He was born July 7, 1940, in Limestone County to Leonard Crow Sr. and Ellen Towe Crow.
Survivors include five brothers, Leonard Crowe Jr. of Hazel Green , and Eugene T. Crow, Jay Crow, Bobby Crowe and Randy Crowe, all of Athens; and one sister, Annie Ruth Adkins of Priceville.

Mrs. Dutton died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. She was born March 3, 1916, in Moulton to Wert Rutherford and Ada Randolph Rutherford. She was a homemaker and the widow of Claude F. Dutton.
Survivors include five sons, Rubert Dutton of Posen, Ill., Gwyn Dutton of Moulton, Teddy Dutton of Athens, Lavon Dutton of Scottsboro and Doyle Dutton of Decatur; five daughters, Jean Blair, Opal Alred and Doris Murphee, all of Decatur, Sharon Logston of Muscle Shoals and Brenda Warren of Moulton; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

CORINTH, Miss. -- Funeral for Priscilla Faye Brewer Letson, 50, of Glen, Miss., was to be today at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Funeral Home with the Rev. Merle Spearman officiating.
Burial was to be in Valley of the Dogwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Letson died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, in Lawrence County. She was born Nov. 27, 1950, in Jasper, Tenn., to Joseph Paul Brewer and Virginia "Irene" Sifford Brewer. She retired as a receptionist from Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth after 14 years. For the past year, she traveled with her husband to construction projects. She was a Baptist and had relatives in Lawrence County. She was the sister of the late Chester Troy Brewer and Virginia Jo Brewer.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Thomas R. Letson; one son, Timothy Donald Letson of Glen; three daughters, Melanie Forsythe of Walnut, Miss., Bethany Perriman of Corinth and Josie Michelle Letson of Glen; five brothers, Lester "Roy" Brewer of Corinth, Anthony "Darlow" Brewer of Walnut, and James Donald Brewer, Ed Brewer and Clifford Brewer, all of South Pittsburg, Tenn.; four sisters, Sally Dotson of Whitwell, Tenn., Mary Denise Blevins and Kathy Brewer South, both of South Pittsburg, and Tina Kilgore of Jasper, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren.

Ms. Moore died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at her home. She was born Aug. 27, 1943, in Jasper to Cecil Underwood Moore and Ruth Pauline Hardy Moore. She was a former FBI employee in Washington, D.C., during which time she lived in a Virginia suburb. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Barbara Machalek of Springfield, Va.

Mr. Riley died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born Sept. 23, 1908, in Union to John Joseph Riley and Cassie Russell Riley. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He and his wife, Mary, raised birds for many years and sold them at the Lacon flea market.
Survivors include one son, Lavon Riley of Gun Barrel City, Texas; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Rutherford died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at his home. He was born June 30, 1939, in Lawrence County to Ulysess Rutherford and Gladys Dotson Rutherford. He was a farmer and the widower of Wanda Rutherford.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Eric Rutherford and Brian Rutherford, both of Town Creek; three daughters, Rhonda Gaston and Sonja Bradford, both of town Creek, and Shannon Wright of Moulton; four brothers, W.C. Rutherford of Town Creek, Randy Rutherford and Ricky Rutherford, both of Moulton, and Tim Rutherford of Addison; four sisters, Diane Sawyer of Cleveland, Ohio, Rebecca Waldrep of Trinity, Ada Jo Harris of Michigan and Rachel Wilbanks of Moulton; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Willie Selner Smith

Mr. Smith died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Jan. 21, 1913, in Lafayette County, Miss., to Samuel Smith and Mary Eliza Smith. He was a member of Bible Way Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Abbeville, Miss. He later joined the Pentecostal House of Prayer, where he was the church's oldest member. Before retiring, he worked for a dairy in Mississippi for 43 years. He was the father of the late Sylluster Smith and the widower of Betty L. Smith, who died in 1959, and Mattie C. Smith, who died in 1998.
Survivors include one son, Willie Smith of Decatur; four daughters, Lavada Strong of Decatur, Willie Mae Johnson of Toledo, Ohio, and Willie Mae Worthem and Iletta Kirk, both of Flint, Mich.; 36 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Strong, Barry Strong, Quincy Smith, Mike Smith, Gerald Smith and Maurice Worthem.

Mrs. Gingrich died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Jan. 19, 1908, in Morgan County to Richard Gingrich and Nancy Andrew Gingrich. She was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church in Decatur. She was retired from the hosiery mill that once operated in Decatur.
Survivors include nephew, John L. Gingrich of Huntsville; and other nieces and nephews.

ATHENS -- Funeral for Henry Petty McMeans, 75, of Tanner will be today at 3 p.m. at Tanner Church of Christ with Robert Hall and Jim Bowers officiating and Spry Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens. The body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Mr. McMeans died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Aug. 22, 1925, in Limestone County to Arthur Hamilton McMeans and Niomi Josephine Carter McMeans.
He was a member of Tanner Church of Christ. He was a NASA retiree and World War Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Reba Barnes McMeans; two sons, Dennis McMeans of Oneonta and Butch McMeans of Athens; two brothers, Olen McMeans of Athens and Oscar McMeans of Hammond, Ind.; six sisters, Ruby Malone, Verna Perry, Mae Sharp, Betty Privett and Merly Thompson, all of Athens, and Ruth Karr of Huntsville; three grandchildren; one great-grandson.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Privett, Jeff Thompson, Jackie Malone, John Wade Percy, Kenneth Sharp and Jimmy King.
