Mrs. Odell died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence. She was born Aug. 2, 1920, in Lawrence County to Onnie Green and Lele Bell Terry Green . She was a member of Eastern Star and First Baptist Church of Town Creek. She was a homemaker and a merchant.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Odell, James Odell and Craig Odell, all of Town Creek; one daughter, Betty McCary of Town Creek; two brothers, Elbert Green of Decatur and Clifton Green of Clarksville, Tenn.; one sister, Jewell Kuzmack of Youngstown, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Odell, Scott McCary, Ronnie Odell, Lee McCary, Gary Wayne Odell, Justin Terry and Jared Kirby.
John Alvin Brown

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for John Alvin Brown, 86, of Moulton will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Smothers and the Rev. Clyde Ledlow officiating.
Burial will be in Pitman Cemetery near Hartselle. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Brown died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at National Health Care Center in Moulton. He was born June 15, 1914, in Morgan County to John Clifton Brown and Mary Ola Wigginton Brown. He was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church near Falkville. He was a farmer and construction worker before retiring. He was the father of the late Brenda Carol Brown, Nancy Carol Brown and Don Mike Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Adice Hallmark Brown; six sons, James Alvin Brown of Hartselle, Jerry Wayne Brown of Moulton, Jeffrey Allen Brown of Trinity, Johnny Junior Brown, Paul Howell Brown and Charles D. Brown, all of Decatur; three daughters, Faye B. Barber of Priceville, Janice Ann McCleskey of Marion, Ark., and Lorie James Crow of Kentucky; one sister, Ruby Brown Tidwell of Eva; 32 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Sons and grandsons will be pallbearers.

Graveside service for Maxwell Wayne Jacobs, 57, of Decatur will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Mount Zion Cemetery in Cullman County with Irvin Hemmel officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Jacobs died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Riverside Assisted Living. He was born June 16, 1943, in Decatur. He was a veteran of the Air Force and a member of Somerville Road Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Jason Jacobs of Cullman and Christian Tyler Jacobs of Hartselle; one daughter, Cindy Deatrick of Birmingham; and one sister, Mona Graham of Decatur.
Clara Praytor Newman

HARTSELLE -- Graveside service for Clara Praytor Newman, 89, of Decatur will be today at 3 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends for one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Newman died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation of Decatur. She was born Dec. 11, 1911, in Morgan County to James Lewis Praytor and Claris Irene Woodruff Praytor. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hartselle. Before retiring, she was a bookkeeper for Minor Furniture Co. in Hartselle.
Survivors include one son, Tommy Newman of Decatur; four grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include Bailey Cook, Tim Lawrence, John Lovelace, Mike Lovelace, Stanton Newman and Tommy Newman Jr.
Frances Lucille Foshee Whitehead

Mrs. Whitehead died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2001, at South Morgan Health Care. She was born Dec. 31, 1919, in Alabama. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Foshee and Tommy Whitehead, both of Decatur; two daughters, Edna Wynn and Beatrice Wynn, both of Decatur; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Mrs. Brown died Friday, Jan. 26, 2001, at Burns Nursing Home in Russellville. She was born March 24, 1903, in Crenshaw County to Lonnie Huffman and Mattie Moore Huffman.
She was a member of Jackson Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Courtland, where she served on the stewardess board.
Survivors include one brother, James McClain of Dayton, Ohio.

Mrs. Green grass died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford. She was retired from Marconi, a radio manufacturing company. She was a homemaker and the widow of Ken Green grass.

Mrs. Roberts died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born March 28, 1916, in Lawrence County to Rob Landers and Lisa Loosier Landers. She was a homemaker and a member of Okolana Baptist Church. She was the widow of Russell "Tut" Roberts and the mother of Joe Roberts.
Survivors include one sister, Maggie Bracken of Town Creek.

Mrs. Agee died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. She was born April 10, 1914, in Lawrence County. She retired as an accountant from the U.S. Government after 47 years. She was the oldest member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Don Agee of Decatur and Bo Agee of Moulton; one sister, Jean Blaxton Vinson of Mobile; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
