Mrs. Osborne died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born May 26, 1927, in Lawrence County to Alfred Cheatham and Delphia Sterling Cheatham. She was a homemaker and a member of Somerville Road Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons, Ray Osborne Jr. of Danville, Sterling Osborne and Mark Osborne, both of Decatur; one daughter, Patricia Reid of Decatur; one brother, Gordon Cheatham of Decatur; three sisters, Zella Cheatham, Louise Wellborn and Marie Moore, all of Decatur; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy Millwood, Rod Millwood, Clint Narmore, Keith Moore, Alfred Cheatham and Michael Cheatham.

Mrs. Ponter died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Memphis. She was born June 26, 1924, in Shelby County, Tenn., to Thomas McDuffie Smith and Martha Jane Smith Craig. A Falkville resident for 38 years, she received a nursing degree from Calhoun Community College, was nursing director at Falkville Nursing Home until 1999 and was a member of Piney Grove Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, James Craig Ponter of Decatur and Michael Peck Ponter of Deland, Fla.; two daughters, Diane Ponter Butler of Memphis and Karen Marie Murphy of Danville; one brother, Jack Smith of Gum Pond; one sister, Nell Ray of Birmingham; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Ponter, Lynn Ray, Larry Joe Smith, Gary Smith, King Butler, Jerry Ray and Cephas Ray.

Mrs. Roedersheimer died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Oct. 6, 1918, in Bowden, Ga., to Jesse and Theora Smith. She was a member Macedonia Baptist Church in Clayburn County. She was a homemaker and worked at a Birmingham beauty shop.
Survivors include her husband, L.V. Roedersheimer; one son, Bob Roedersheimer of Memphis; two daughters, Nancy Quintavalle and Karen Reichert, both of Decatur; one brother, Grady Smith of Ranburne; one sister, Lois Phelps of Ranburne; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Roedersheimer, Mark McKamey, Lee Quintavalle, Shane Shindlebower, Hugh Lee Phelps and Alfred Michel.

Survivors include her husband, Harold D. Whitt; two daughters, Sheila Osborne of Elkmont and Casey Slaton of Meridianville; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Williams died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at his home. He was born April 3, 1946, in Lawrence County to Lloyd and Carrie Williams. He was a process operator for 3M Co. and a member of Moulton Heights Baptist Church and Hillsboro Baptist Church, where he was active. He was a former Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Joan Williams; three sons, Robert Tracy Williams Jr. of Beaufort, S.C., Matthew Lamar Williams and Phillip Anthony Williams, both of Hillsboro; four brothers, Billy Williams of Town Creek, Jimmy Williams of Courtland, Joe Williams and Don Williams, both of Decatur; and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Chad Cole, Harold Cole, Eugene Hayes, Milton Letson, Bob McIlwain and Jonathan Williams.

Mrs. Bomar died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at South Morgan Health Care Center. She was born March 12, 1926, in Morgan County to Jerry M. Brown and Ida Bell Armstrong Brown. She was a member of Barnett's Chapel Pentecostal Church and worked at Highway 67 Restaurant for years.
Survivors include her husband, Melvin Bomar; three sons, Cecil Bomar and Howard Bomar, both of Hartselle, and James Bomar of Somerville; two sisters, Imogene Jones and Josephine White, both of Hartselle; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Terry died Friday, Feb. 10, 2001, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born April 25, 1922, in Akron to James M. Terry Sr. and Cammie Tidmore Terry. He retired as plant manager from BellSouth in Huntsville in 1982 after 42 years. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church and was in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He was the father of the late Jimmy Terry.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia K. Terry; one daughter, Celeste T. Stroup of Decatur; two sisters, Lois T. Broadhead of Decatur and Floy T. Rohrbach of Redding, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Widener, Joe Donahue, Todd Stroup, Don Lovelass, Vernon Lane, Roger Lovelass, Bill Coster and Bob Coster.

Mrs. Young died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. She was born Aug. 14, 1924, in Missouri. She was a teller at Citizens Bank in Moulton.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Young; one grandson; and one great-grandchild.
