Mrs. Gibson died Monday, April 30, 2001, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Oct. 16, 1908, in Alabama to Nathan Henry "Ned" Hazel and Ida Dora Bramlett Hazel. She was a Baptist, a homemaker and a farmer. She was the widow of W.P. "Pete" Gibson and sister of the late Rubin Hazel, Lois "Mack" Hazel, Letha Brown and Desser Rogers.
Survivors include one sister, Icle Carnell of Decatur; and two step granddaughters.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
Grace Lottie Luman Fox Kelley

HAYDEN, Ariz. -- Memorial service for Grace Lottie Luman Fox Kelley, 91, of Hayden will be Friday at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Mesa, Ariz.
Mrs. Kelley died Saturday, April 28, 2001, in Mesa. She was born Feb. 2, 1910, in Watonga, Okla., to William Arther Luman and Maldie Baker Luman. A resident of Hayden for 30 years, she retired as proprietor of the Tri-City Bowl in 1976. She was the widow of Sherman F. Kelley.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Fox of Phoenix, Ariz., Clyde Fox of Stallion Springs, Calif. and Don Kelley of Gilbert, Ariz.; one step-son, William Kelley of Sydney, Neb.; one step-daughter, Sandra Kelley King of Decatur; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Lancaster died Monday, April 30, 2001, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1968, in Lawrence County to William Lee Lancaster and Juanita Heflin. He was an industrial insulator for Superior Scaffolding and Insulation Inc. and was a member of Chalybeate Baptist Church. He was the grandson of the late Ross and Irene Lancaster and Sam and Myrtle Plant.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Lancaster; one son, Jessy Lancaster of Decatur; one stepdaughter, Amanda Cox of Decatur; his father of Athens; his mother of Decatur; three brothers, Phil Lancaster of Decatur, Danny Lancaster of Athens and Joey Lancaster of Trinity; three sisters, Janice Landers of Trinity, Angie Roberts of Moulton and Tina Reed of Trinity.
Pallbearers will be Jason Lancaster, Torey Reed, Jeremy Lowery, George Gay, Lewis Blasingame and Jason Blasingame.
Mamie Louise Smith

ATHENS -- Memorial services for Mamie Louise Smith, 90, of Athens, will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Aaron D. Johnson officiating and Spry Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Smith died Monday, April 30, 2001, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. She was born March 26, 1911, in Lake County, Tenn. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, John B. Smith of Athens; one daughter, Arnette S. Johnson of Pleasant Grove; one brother, John Witt Wright of Daytona Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Stanfield died Monday, April 30, 2001, at her home. She was born Jan. 19, 1918, to Anderson Brooks and Allelouia Teal Brooks. She was a homemaker and an active member of New Home Baptist Church, where she worked as director of Vacation Bible School for 10 years. She played golf and was a member of Boaz Country Club. She also enjoyed traveling. She was married to Cecil Stanfield for 62 years.
Other survivors include three daughters, Trecy McInnish of Douglasville, Ga., Patricia Drinkard of Hartselle and Iris Causey of Virginia; one sister, Nellie June Crosson of Boaz; and four grandchildren.
Nephews were to be pallbearers. Deacons of New Home Baptist Church will be honorary pallbearers.

Mrs. Thomas died Tuesday, March 1, 2001, at University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. She was born Feb. 28, 1925, in Lawrence County to Jack Hill and Ruth Moore Hill. She was a homemaker and member of Friendship Methodist Church. She was the widow of the Rev. Raymond Harvey Thomas, mother of the late Linda R. Young and sister of the late James Ambruse Hill, Amos David Hill, Trudie Hill Bolan and Mildred Hill. She was step-sister of the late George Ambruse Hill and Dessie Hill Lackey.
Survivors include one brother, Robert Lee Hill of Vinemont; one sister, Wilma Royer of Hartselle; two half-sisters, Alma Asherbranner and Rissie Osborn, both of Addison; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Whitmire died Monday, April 30, 2001, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born April 4, 1918, in Scottsboro to Charles Bradford and Jimmie Bradford. She retired from Goodyear after 40 years of service.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Crumbley of Roswell, Ga.; one brother, Rice Bradford of Trinity; one sister, Marveline Bradford of Decatur; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Beddingfield died Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at his home. He was born Feb. 2, 1925, in Lincoln County, Tenn. He was retired from Redstone Arsenal and was a farmer. He was a disabled World War II Army veteran and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Green haw Beddingfield of Athens; seven sons, Stanley Beddingfield of Montgomery, Chris Beddingfield of Elkmont, and Dwight Beddingfield, Steve Beddingfield, Mark Beddingfield, Rusty Beddingfield and John Beddingfield, all of Athens; one daughter, Susan Turner of Lexington; three brothers, Carlos Beddingfield of Kelso, Tenn., Glen Beddingfield and Rowe Sherriell Beddingfield, both of Athens; seven sisters, Martha Ellen Floyd of Chattanooga, Tenn, Bobbie Baugher of Athens, Peggy Holder of Fayetteville, Tenn., Ophelia Berryhill of Taft, Tenn., Barbara White of Pulaski, Tenn. and Mary Dell Goode and Elaine McNatt, both of Huntsville; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Brown died Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born June 15, 1928, in Morgan County, to Clyde Stephenson and Lizzie Stockton Stephenson. She was a sewing factory seamstress, and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was the widow of John Brown and the mother of the late Freddie Brown.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny Brown Jr. and Tommie Joe Brown, both of Hartselle; three daughters, Drue Marlow of Athens, Carol Wiley of Decatur and Jane McSpadden of Hartselle; one brother, John Stephenson of Falkville; four sisters, Vivian Suggs of Trinity, Sara Aldridge of Decatur, and Peggy Webster and Wanda Mullins, both of Hartselle; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Harney died Monday, April 30, 2001, at his home. He was born July 7, 1929, in Limestone County to John Harney Jr. and Florida Moore Harney.
Survivors include one daughter, Agrippa Ricks of Madison; his mother of Cullman; two sisters, Johnnie Thatch of Tanner and Francis Miller of Dayton, Ohio; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Limestone Chapel Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.
Miss Nayman died Tuesday in Limestone County. She was born Oct. 10, 1983, in Huntsville. She was a junior at Ardmore High School, where she was a drum majorette in the marching band. She also was a member of Senior Beta Club, the Spanish Club, the Jazz Band and the Concert Band. She was an active member of Sardis Springs Baptist Church. She was the granddaughter of the late John Henry Stanners and the late Jean Stanners.
Survivors include her parents, Jerry and Betsy Threet; one brother, Julian Threet of Athens; one sister, Sydney Threet of Athens; her grandparents, Jennifer Threet of Athens and Jerry and Tena Threet of Decatur.
