Mr. Clouse died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at his home. He was born Nov. 11, 1950, in Grayville to William "Bill" Hope Clouse and Sharlene Webb Clouse. He was a boilermaker and a Vietnam War veteran who was awarded the Bronze Star.
He is survived by his wife, Dodie C. Clouse; one stepson, Calder Lynch of Covington; his mother of Huntsville; one brother, Robert "Sonny" Clouse of California; and two sisters, Janice Clouse and Robin Clouse, both of Huntsville.

Mr. Lusk died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, in Limestone County. He was born March 7, 1946, in Milan, Tenn., to James C. and Virginia Lusk. He was self-employed in real estate.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jane Lusk; and one sister, Virginia Pack of Hawkins, Texas.

Mrs. Morales died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, at Sun Bridge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 19, 1899, in Nicaragua. She owned a department store in Nicaragua before the communist government took it away in 1979. She was the stepmother of the late Maria Elsa Davidson.
She is survived by one son, Oscar Morales of Nicaragua; two daughters, Amanda "Mamacita" McClellan of Decatur and Thelma Lash of San Pedro, Calif.; one stepson, Manuel David Morales of Nicaragua; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Pitt died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999, at 3M Co. He was born Nov. 10, 1947, in Lawrence County to Edgar and Nona Pitt. He had worked at 3M as a chemical operator for 31 years.
He is survived by one son, Jason Pitt of Decatur; his mother of Decatur; two brothers, Tom Pitt of Tennessee and Gerald Pitt of Trinity; two sisters, Joy Murphy and Annie Mears, both of Decatur; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Greg Murphy, Marty Mears, Jeff Mears, Joe Mears, Ben Mears, Tony Murphy and John Mears.

Mrs. Thrasher died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999, at her home. She was born Jan. 30, 1912, in Lawrence County. She was a homemaker. She was the widow of Jim Tom Thrasher and the mother of the late Billy Tom Thrasher and Marcene Adams.
She is survived by one son, Bobby Thrasher of Town Creek; two daughters, Jewel Anderton and Pauline Loosier, both of Town Creek; her parents, Willis and Laura Oliver of Town Creek; one brother, Spencer Oliver of Tuscumbia; one sister, Bertie Halbrooks of Haden; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bradford died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at Sunbridge Nursing Home in Muscle Shoals. She was born Dec. 7, 1930, in Lawrence County to Herbert and Eunice Bradford. She was a homemaker and a former resident of Town Creek. She was also a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church No. 1 in Wolf Springs.
She is survived by three brothers, Bill Bradford of Muscle Shoals, and Ted Bradford and Don Bradford, both of Town Creek.
Nephews will be pallbearers.

She is survived by one son, Timmy Dwain Davis of Rogersville; two daughters, Deborah Diana Johnson of Athens and Polly Elaine Cobb of Killen; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Eley died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at Glenwood Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 2, 1922, in Lincoln County, Tenn., to Clifford and Ireva Bearden. She was an operator and office worker retired from AT&T and BellSouth after 35 years in Lynchburg, Tenn., Sheffield and Decatur. She was a member of Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ and of Wood Avenue Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers and worked with Reading Aides of North Alabama. She was the widow of William F. Eley and sister of the late Clifford Wilson Bearden Jr.
She is survived by one daughter, Reva Gale Staggs of Florence; one brother, Bob Bearden of Spring Hill, Tenn.; one sister, Nancy Bearden Tipps of Lynchburg; and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Joey Bearden, Greg Bearden, Mike Tipps, Chris Rawdon, Loyd King and Jimmy McAdams.

Mrs. Rogers died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. She was born March 12, 1918, in Lawrence County to Will Long and Elsie McNutt Long. She was retired from Gateway Theater in Decatur where she worked for 34 years.
She is survived by one son, Rayburn Rogers of Decatur; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Rev. E.M. Barnes Jr.

HARTSELLE -- Funeral for the Rev. E.M. Barnes Jr., 83, of Hartselle was to be today at 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Hartselle with the Rev. W.G. Henry, the Rev. W.L. Cole, the Rev. Bert Goodwin and the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Barnes died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born June 16, 1916, in Chambers County to the Rev. Ernest Mobley Barnes Sr. and Lucy Caroline Barnes. He was Pastor Emeritus at First United Methodist Church in Hartselle and was a retired Methodist minister, active from 1940 to 1980.
He was a pastor for Hartselle First United Methodist Church from 1952 to 1957 and 1972 to 1977. During his first term, he assisted in founding West End United Methodist Church in Hartselle. During his second term, he was chairman of Faith of Our Fathers Bicentennial Crusade. He also served as minister of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur from 1965 to1969. He served as District Superintendent of the Albertville District of the United Methodist Church and was pastor of churches in Gadsden, Florence, Trussville, Birmingham and Oneonta. He was awarded the Zeus Award from the Epsilon Sigma Alpha in 1976, and the Humanitarian Award by the Hartselle Chamber of Commerce and the Citizen of the Year Award by the Hartselle Civitan Club in 1990.
He was an active participant in the Hartselle Ministerial Association, served on the board of trustees at Camp Sumatanga and served on the North Alabama Conference Board of Missions. He received his bachelor's degree from Birmingham Southern College and a master of divinity degree from Emory University.
He is survived by his wife, Aline Barnes; one son, Dr. Ernest Mobley Barnes III of Huntsville; two daughters, Judith Berry of Huntsville and Dr. Susan B. Lamb of Savannah, Ga.; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lee Coon, Ike Groover, Sim Howell, Blake Tanner, Fred Langston, Billy Joe Buckelew, Luther Roberts and Paul Strong.
