MOULTON -- Funeral for Helen O. Letson, 80, of Moulton will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. B.L. Hale Jr. officiating.
Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Letson died Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, at Helen Keller Memorial Hospital. She was born Sept. 17, 1921, in Lawrence County, to George Letson and Elizabeth Fowler Letson. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis Letson; two sons, Mark Letson and Dan Letson, both of Moulton; one daughter, Ann Letson of Moulton; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Winton, Glyn Letson, Lyndon Letson, Andy Kelley, Billy Joe Terry and Charles Claborn.
Marjorie Ann White Mashburn
HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Marjorie Ann White Mashburn, 51, of Danville will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Bullard officiating.
Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mashburn died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Aug. 30, 1950, in Morgan County to Fred White and Willie Reed White. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Danville. She was an engineering aide for Joe Wheeler Electric Membership Corp.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Mashburn; one son, Derick Holcombe of Danville; two daughters, Terri Shelton of Hillsboro and Amy McMahan of Trinity; two brothers, Fred White and Bobby White, both of Danville; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth White, Doyle Dobbins, Winford Stewart, James Reed, Glendon Sparkman and Miles Spurlock.
Joe Wheeler EMC employees of the Trinity office will be honorary pallbearers.
Edna Fay May

Mrs. May died today, Jan. 15, 2002, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born Aug. 12, 1947, in Lawrence County to Cecil New and Gracie McDonald New.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas "Toby" May; one son, Kenneth Odell May of Decatur; two daughters, Patricia Steeples and Sherry Bryant, both of Decatur; her mother of Florida; one brother, Kenneth New of Florida; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

H. Richard Hall
CLEVELAND, Tenn. -- Funeral for the Rev. H. Richard Hall, 81, of Cleveland, Tenn., will be Saturday, at 11 a.m. at the United Christian Church with the Rev. Paul Henson, the Rev. Larry Nix officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery with Fike Funeral Home directing. The family was to receive friends today at the church from 10 a.m. until the service Saturday.
The Rev. Hall died at a local hospital Monday, Jan. 14, 2002. He was born April 6, 1920, in Canton, N.C. and became an overseer with the Church of God of Prophecy in Colorado, Utah and Western Texas. He moved to Cleveland in 1952 and founded the United Christian Church and Ministerial Association, and came to Alabama every three months to conduct services in towns including Moulton and Jasper.
Survivors include his wife, Amelia Lucile Hall; his adopted son, Don Warren of Cleveland, Tenn; two half brothers, Robert "Bob" Gaddis and George Gaddis, both of Canton, N.C.; and two half-sisters, Grace Jimison of Canton, N.C. and Maxine Ashe of Charleston, S.C.
Pallbearers will be Danny Emerson, Bud Pierce, Rick Roberts, Richard Lesniewski, Keith Nix, Shaun Thomas, Shawn Patton and Mark Burdette.
Jonas Edgar LaFollette
MOULTON -- Funeral for Jonas Edgar LaFollette, 74, of Moulton will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Rogers officiating.

Mr. LaFollette died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1927, in Parrotsville, Tenn., to Herbert LaFollette and Ada Bowers LaFollette. He retired from General Electric as an assembly worker and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. Mr. LaFollette was the widower of Juanita Redden LaFollette, the father of the late Stephen LaFollette and the brother of the late Lynn LaFollette.
Survivors include two sons, Richard LaFollette of Texas and Jerry Price of Moulton; two daughters, Peggy Villagomez of Guam and Joan Givens of Moulton; two brothers, Howard LaFollette of Tennessee and Junior LaFollette of Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Cox, Richard Cox, Charles Russell, Mark Hale, Tim Bumgart and Richie Suski.
Lillian V. McCaghren
TRINITY -- Funeral for Lillian V. McCaghren, 94, of Moulton and formerly of Danville, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Huey and the Rev. Bill Reding officiating.

Mrs. McCaghren died Wed- nesday, Jan. 16, 2002, in NHC Health Care in Moulton. She was born Nov. 24, 1907, in Franklin County to Jimmy Borden and Louella Borden. She was a homemaker and a member of Enon Baptist Church. She was the widow of Robert D. McCaghren and the mother of the late Malcolm McCaghren, Ray McCaghren and Rayburn McCaghren.
Survivors include two sons, Melvin "Hut" McCaghren of Moulton and Dayton T. McCaghren of Danville; two daughters, Merlene Johnson of Moulton and Wanda Faye West of Auburn; two brothers, Edward Borden and Alton Borden, both of Decatur; one sister, Lydia Hall of Decatur; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Ray Louis Mosling
HUNTSVILLE -- Memorial service for Ray Louis Mosling, 64, of Huntsville was to be today at 1 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home.
Mr. Mosling died Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, at his home. He was born Jan. 1, 1938, in Spokane, Wash., to Edmond Mosling and Katherine Kochendofer Mosling. He was an Army veteran and had lived in Huntsville since 1954. He was former owner of Northside Auto Salvage and Brewster Body Shop. He was a founding member of Twickenham Auto Club and a member of Porch Club of America and Sports Car Club of America.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Louis Mosling of Greenville, S.C., and Charles Ray Mosling of Raleigh, N.C.; two daughters, Jimmie Carolyn "Nikki" Eddins of Auburn and Lori Kim Wilson of Somerville; two sisters, Alice Williams of Ardmore, Okla., and Lorraine LeFave of Moses Lake, Wash.; and five grandchildren.

Betty J. Bean

Mrs. Bean died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation for Decatur. She was born Aug. 1, 1924, to Burry Thompson and Clara Cowan Thompson. Mrs. Bean retired from the Austin High School cafeteria. She was a homemaker and a member of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Kirkland Bean; two daughters, Suzanne LeGrande of Madison and Judy McGowen of Bellville, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Goode died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born July 9, 1915, in Lawrence County to Robert Mayes and Roxanne Goode. He was an assistant to attorney John Eyster. A member of Tri-Stone Primitive Baptist Church, he later joined St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church. He was the brother of the late Emmit Goode Sr., Percy Mayes, Leslie Mayes, Camelia Shackleford, Lisa Troupe, Ella Goode and Jane Mayes.
Survivors include his wife, Bessie McVay Goode; nine sons, Odis Goode Jr., Clarence Goode, Robert Goode, Jimmy Goode, Larry Goode, Michael Goode and Alfonzo Goode, all of Decatur, Jerry Goode of Aeia, Hawaii, and Thomas Goode of Town Creek; six daughters, Annie Mae Deloney of Hillsboro, Willadean Billings of Hartselle, Emma Davis of Decatur, Ida Mae Pryor of Griffin, Ga., Mary Davis of Prattville and Mildred Gladies of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Carrie Garth of Decatur, Annie Davis of Chattanooga and Mary Goode of Staten Island, N.Y.; 73 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; and 22 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Holt died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1912, in Limestone County to William Lewis Powers and Bertie Daly Powers. She was a homemaker and a member of Pettusville Church of Christ. She was the widow of Roy Holt. She was the sister of the late Adell Powers, Almon Powers, Virgil Powers, Robert Powers, Nellie Powers, Alma Puryear and Pauline Burgess.
Survivors include one son, Paul Wayne Holt of Elkmont; one daughter, Alice Holt Long of Elkmont; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Pitts died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, in Athens. He was born May 2, 1972, in Limestone County to Morris Wayne Pitts and Brenda Jean King Jensen. He was employed by M&C Groundskeepers in Elkmont and attended the Pentecostal church. He was the grandson of the late Leamon Pitts, Mary Frances Pitts and Authur King.
Survivors include his father of Elkmont; his mother of Huntsville; his stepmother, Lois Marie Pitts of Elkmont; two stepbrothers, Wesley McKnight of Huntsville and Randy McKnight of Athens; one sister, Melissa Kay Brooks of Taft, Tenn.; two stepsisters, Melinda Gayle Kimbrough of Athens and Sandy Lynn McKnight of Elkmont; and his grandmother, Doris King Trousdale of Athens.
