ATHENS -- Funeral for Margie Katheryn Keyes, 84, of Athens will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with George Dudley officiating.
Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Keyes died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at her home. She was born July 3, 1917, in Calera to Harvey B. Nabors and Betty Kirby Nabors. A resident of Athens for 57 years, she was a member of Retired Senior Volunteer Program and First Christian Church. She and her late husband, Ed Keyes, owned and operated the Athens Washateria.
Survivors include one son, James Edwin Keyes of Decatur; two daughters, Kay Keyes Filippone of Phoenix and Betty Lou Covington of Athens; one brother, Robert Nabors of Pensacola, Fla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Holcombe, Jimmy Holcombe, Van Holcombe, H.M. Nabors, Juddy Clem and Wayne McMahan.

Irene Long
Funeral for Irene Long, 78, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Ridout's Brown- Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Marcus Long officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Long died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born June 20, 1923, in Limestone County to Albert Lee Johns and Nettie Elrod Johns. She was a member of Austinville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Marlin Long; two sons, Tim Long and Rodney W. Long, both of Decatur; three brothers, Curtis Johns, Donald Johns and Allen Johns, all of Decatur; and two grand children.
Pallbearers will be James Earnest Long, Keith Clark, Clarence Worley, Bob Johnson, Tim Long and Chris Long.
Nell Ruth Maner
Nell Ruth Maner, 76, of Decatur died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at University Community Hospital in Tampa, Fla. Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home will announce arrangements.

David Leonard Stover
Funeral for David Leonard Stover, 84, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Moulton Heights Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Tracy Seltzer officiating.
Burial will be in Sterrs Cemetery with Sharpley Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Stover died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Sept. 4, 1917, in Morgan County to Roddy Stover and Willie L. Stover. He was a member of Moulton Heights M.B. Church, where he served as superintendent of Sunday school, president of the senior choir and a deacon.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Willie Mae Sears Stover; four sons, David Lee Stover, Willie Floyd Stover, Larry Donnell Stover and Tony Joe Stover, all of Decatur; three daughters, Leonard Ann Jones of Harvest, Gwendolyn June Madden of Trinity and Irish Ann Strain of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Percy Madden, Jerry Tucker, Charlie Campbell, Charles Sears, Henry Tucker and Emmanuel Burk.
James 'Jim' Richard Anderson
MOULTON -- Funeral for James "Jim" Richard Anderson, 64, of Decatur will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Mike Nix officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 until 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Anderson died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Aug. 20, 1937, in Jackson County, Tenn. to James Thomas Anderson and Mildred Kennedy Anderson. He was a sales manager for Byars Feed Company and a member of Beltline Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Anderson; two sons, Richard Craig Anderson of Colorado and Chris Jeffreys of Decatur; one daughter, Lauri Anderson Hoover of Illinois; his mother of Tennessee; and six grandchildren.

Agnes Wright Brown

Mrs. Brown died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at her residence. She was born Oct. 26, 1899, in Morgan County to Mark Wright and Mary Vernon Wright. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was the widow of William Brown and mother of the late Otto Brown.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty White and Nenola Hill, both of Danville; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-granddaughter.

Emmit Cowan Sr.
Funeral for Emmit Cowan Sr., 56, of Decatur will be Thursday at noon at Love Chapel CME Church with the Rev. Lawson Fletcher officiating.
Burial will be at Calvary Memorial Gardens with Sharpley Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church for one hour before the service.
Mr. Cowan died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital.
He was born May 2, 1945, in Lawrence County to Lee Cowan and Susie King Cowan. ConAgra employed him for 32 years.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Cowan; five sons, Emmit Cowan Jr., Phil Cowan, Gregory Cowan, Eric Cowan and Kelvin Cowan, all of Decatur; one daughter, Jennifer Cowan of Decatur; one sister, Ellen Cowan of Courtland; and four grandchildren.

Patricia Lee Crane

Miss. Crane died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Feb. 22, 1966, in Limestone County to Helen Mavine Lacy Crane and the late Billy Paul Crane. She was the granddaughter of the late Jessie Lacy and Annie Lacy and Troy Crane and Tenlee Crane.
Survivors include her mother of Hartselle; and two sisters, Sheila Mangus of Hazel Green and Debra Vest of Hartselle.

Jean Reding Dutton

Mrs. Dutton died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, in Hohenwald. She was born Jan. 30, 1939, in Lawrence County to C.G. Reding and Berteen Reding. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Park Baptist Church of Decatur.
Survivors include her husband, Maurice Dutton; three sons, Marlon Dutton of Courtland, Roderick Dutton of Hartselle and Eddie Dutton of Decatur; one daughter, Lisa Peery of Hohenwald; her parents of Courtland; one brother, Anthony Reding of Athens; one sister, Beverly Hames of Caddo; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Wayne Hugh Hogan
HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Wayne Hugh Hogan, 61, of Hartselle will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at West Hartselle Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Ripley and the Rev. Jack Redfearn officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 5:30 until 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Hogan died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Aug. 24, 1940, in Morgan County to Franklin Herman Hogan and Eullas Irene Evans Hogan. He was brother of the late Billy Frank Hogan and James Hoyt Hogan. He was a Baptist and a Danville High School graduate. He was a United States Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Hogan retired from UPS as a truck driver after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Carolyn McHan Hogan; one son, Jonathan Mark Hogan of Hartselle; one daughter, Susan Alane Hogan of Hartselle; one brother, LeGrand Hogan of Tallahassee, Fla.; and one sister, Joan Hogan Frese of Vinemont.

Mrs. Howard died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at Vaughn Parkway Hospital in Selma. She was born Nov. 22, 1906, in Birmingham to C.C. Terry and Josie Gammon Terry. She was the widow of James L. Howard and mother of the late Carl Lee Howard. She was a long-time member of Flint Baptist Church and was a director of the Parent Teacher Association.
Survivors include one son, Frank Howard of Cantonment, Fla.; two daughters, Mary Ingleright of Scottsboro and JoAnn Guire of Beaumont, Texas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Maner died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at University Community Hospital in Tampa, Fla. She was born Sept. 3, 1925, in Morgan County to General Lee Bolding and Bell Earwood Bolding. She was a member of Beltline Church of Christ and was retired from the Decatur City School System. She was the widow of Roland A. Maner.
Survivors include one daughter, Vickie Hughes of Som- erville; and one brother, Russell Bolding of Decatur; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
