Mrs. Martin died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at Baptist Medical Center-Montclair in Birmingham. She was born Oct. 8, 1937, in Morgan County to Percy Kyle Kirby and Ida Matilda Mullican Kirby. She was a nurse's aide supervisor at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Martin Sr.; one son, James Louis Martin Jr. of Hartselle; one daughter, Judy Ann Peck of Hartselle; one brother, Joe Kirby of Arab; one sister, Faye Bradford of Falkville; and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Reed died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at her home. She was born Nov. 14, 1939, in Morgan County to Andrew "Jack" Cole and Martha Mae Teague Cole. She was a homemaker and the mother of the late Jimmy Dwain Hitt.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Reed; four sons, Harvey Lee Hitt of Hartselle, Jeffrey Ken Hitt of Nashville, Jackie Lee Hitt of Priceville and Anthony Scott Hitt of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; one daughter, Shelia Diann Hammon of Decatur; one stepson, Jeffrey Stephen Reed of Philadelphia; two stepdaughters, Vickie Marlene Reed of Red Lion, Pa., and Lorie Seamons of Decatur; three brothers, Jackie Cole, Dwain Cole and James Cole, all of Decatur; two sisters, Virginia Holbert and Nettie Cole, both of Decatur; 19 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Dwain Cole, Jimmy Doil Hitt, Harvey Lee Hitt III, Mickey Burns, Gene Beasley, Ricky Aycock and Jim Davis.

Mr. Tucker died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was born April 7, 1921, in Lawrence County, to Henry Graves Tucker and Flossie Mae Tucker. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of Word War II.
He is survived by his wife, Ommie Tucker; three sons, Levi Tucker of Hartselle, Leland Tucker of Danville and Harold Knighten of Moulton; three brothers, Reno Tucker and John Tucker, both of Moulton, and R.V. Tucker of Kalamazoo, Mich.; two sisters, Ozema Crow of Trinity and Maggie Sue Haynes of Kalamazoo; and four grandchildren.

He was born Sept. 17, 1950, in Morgan County to Ora Vance Watson and Mary Elizabeth Watson. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and a design developer at 3M Co.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Watson; one son, David Wayne Watson of Hartselle; two daughters, Katherine Nicole Britt of Hartselle and Karen Melissa Barnett of Decatur; his mother of Hartselle; one brother, Johnny Watson of Hartselle; one sister, Brenda Smith of Hartselle; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Campbell died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at his home. He was born Oct. 6, 1934, in Lauderdale County. He was retired as a machinist from 3M Co. He was the widower of Gladys Campbell.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Green e Campbell; four sons, Anthony Campbell of Midway, Gilbert Vaughn of Tampa, Fla., Bobby Green e of Goodsprings, Tenn., and Randy Green of Oden Ridge; three daughters, Angela Freeman of Falkville, Frances Parker of Midway and Lenita Bladow of Somerville; one sister, Shirley Reid of Decatur; and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Campbell died Saturday, Nov. 6 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Sept. 10, 1961, in Decatur to Robert Leonard Campbell and Marie Owens Campbell. He graduated from East Lawrence High School and with honors from Calhoun Community College, where he was on the president's list. He was a member of Oak Grove Congregational Methodist Church and a laboratory technician at Wolverine Tube.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Holt Campbell; two sons, Logan Wade Campbell and Micah Clint Campbell, both of Decatur; one daughter, Taniel Denise Campbell of Florida; his mother of Decatur; his grandfather, James "Ed" Owens of Trinity; and his step-grandmother, Nan Campbell of Hartselle.

Mr. Cottingham died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. He was born April 15, 1939, in Lawrence County to Dawson and Lucille Cottingham. He was a retired farmer and a member of Flower Hill Baptist Church. He was the brother of the late Ralph Cottingham and Sarah Nell Cottingham.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Emerson; one son, Brandon Lee Smith of Trinity; five brothers, John Cottingham of Decatur, Carl Cottingham of Moulton, Dale Cottingham of Trinity, Alton Cottingham of Galveston, Texas, and Rodger Cottingham of Hillsboro; and four sisters, Mildred Pitt of Hillsboro, Irene Crawford of Trinity, and Carolyn Glendora Towry and Janice Hodge, both of Moulton.

Mr. Goode died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at his home. He was born Jan. 22, 1918, in Limestone County. He was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was retired from Tennessee Valley Authority. Mr. Goode was a farmer and a member of IronWorkers Local No. 477 in Sheffield. He was the widower of Frenchie Adell Goode and the father of the late Nile Goode Jr. and R. Timothy Goode.
He is survived by one son, Naaman Goode of Huntsville; one daughter, Nila Patton of Rock Island, Tenn.; two sisters, Ruth Trousdale of Rogersville and Nola Parker of Chattanooga; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was born May 1, 1914, in Mosheim, Tenn., to James Monroe Hendry and Susan Brown-Hendry. He moved to Decatur in 1957. He retired as a regional manager from Pet Milk Co. in 1972 and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. He was a Mason, a life member of the Cabela Shrine Temple and a member of the Jesters Club in Knoxville.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Self Hendry; two sons, Gary Hendry of Peachtree City, Ga., and Don Hendry of Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hicks died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1999, at her home. She was born Feb. 23, 1937, in Lawrence County, to Charles L. and Carrie Bankston Foster . She was a licensed practical nurse in New York and a member of David Temple Primitive Baptist Church, where she served on the usher board and in the Sister Aid Society. She was a foster parent and was licensed by the state of Alabama as a cook.
She is survived by three sons, Walter O. Foster and James D. Hicks, both of Decatur, and Keith A. Hicks of Nashville; three daughters, Sandra F. Gray, Teresa L. Hicks and Carrie R. Hicks, all of Decatur; six brothers, the Rev. Curtis Foster and the Rev. Noah Foster , both of Hillsboro, the Rev. Samuel Foster of Athens, Melvin Foster and George Foster , both of Toledo, Ohio, and the Rev. Willie Foster of Nashville; six sisters, Mary J. Armstrong and Ethelreen Wynn, both of Nashville, Mildred Fields of Gurnee, Ill., Marion E. Kee of Cleveland, Ohio, Vivian Garner of Town Creek, Edwena Watkins of Hillsboro; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
