CULLMAN -- Funeral for Mary Elizabeth Moore, 84, of Cullman was to be today at 2 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mack Buttram and the Rev. Dale Moore officiating.
Burial was to be in the church cemetery with Williams-McCracken Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Moore died Friday, March 8, 2002, at Woodland Village Health. She was born July 14, 1917, in Ripley, Tenn., to David Gus Gracy and Maggie Lott Gracy. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, and a former member of Fairview United Methodist Church and St. Andrews United Methodist Church. She was retired and worked for Stiefel- meyers, Fairview School and Liberty National Insurance. She was also a Tupperware manager. She was the widow of Malcomb Vann Moore Sr. and sister of the late G.T. Gracy, Montelle Gracy, Florence Moody and Irene Glass.
Survivors include one son, Malcomb Vann Moore Jr. of Hartselle; one daughter, Barbara Scott of Cullman; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Ruby Ellen Hilliard Pridmore
HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Ruby Ellen Hilliard Pridmore, 85, of Hartselle will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Wilson officiating.
Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Pridmore died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at her home. She was born Feb. 28, 1917, in Marion County to Wiley Blount Hilliard and Annie Adams Hilliard. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Hartselle. She was mother of the late William "Bill" Pridmore Jr. and Melanie Pridmore.
Survivors include one son, Charles Pridmore of Hartselle; three daughters, Mary Pridmore Vice, Ann Pridmore Sanders and Jane Pridmore McClung, all of Hartselle; three brothers, Jack Hilliard of Bessemer, Wayne Hilliard of San Antonio, Texas, and Don Hilliard of Birmingham; one sister, Margaret Hardy of Hueytown; two step-brothers, Bill Mize of Midfield and Marion Mize of Nahwah, New Jersey; one step-sister, Mary Mims of Hueytown; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harry Vice, Joe Sanders, Greg St. John, Jason Thompson, William McClung and Brad Pridmore.
Roscoe Truman Abercrombie
ARAB -- Funeral for Roscoe Truman Abercrombie, 83, of Somerville will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at New Caanan Baptist Church with the Rev. Eldridge Criscoe, the Rev. Ben Styles and the Rev. Lee Adams officiating.
Burial will be in New Caanan Cemetery with Arab-Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Abercrombie died Monday, March 11, 2001, at his home. He was born Jan. 4, 1919, in Morgan County to Dock David Abercrombie and Annie Miller Abercrombie. He lived in Union Hill for most of his life. He was a member of New Caanan Baptist Church and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a retired inspector from Wolverine Tube.
Survivors include his wife, Janice R. Abercrombie; one son, Dock Abercrombie of Somerville; two daughters, Lindy Toney of Huntsville and Amy Slaten of Somerville; one brother, Wilbur Abercrombie of Athens; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Holmes, Larry Abercrombie, Joel Parker, Ricky Lenox, and Nathaniel Slaten.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Marshall County.
Myrtice Estelle Bolzle

Mrs. Bolzle died Monday, March 11, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Sept. 20, 1917, in Cullman County to David Tucker and Elizabeth Harris Tucker. She was the widow of Fred William Bolzle and the mother of the late Marvin Ray Bolzle and Harry William Bolzle.
Survivors include one son, Larry Bolzle of Decatur; one brother, Roy Tucker of Pell City; one sister; Buna Carter of Cullman; and two grandchildren.
Rosie 'Granny' Cagle
HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Rosie "Granny" Cagle, 80, of Hartselle will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Church of God of Prophecy in Hartselle with the Rev. H.L. Buckner and the Rev. Morris Bates officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Winston County with Peck Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the funeral.
Mrs. Cagle died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Sept. 5, 1921, in Lawrence County to Luther Veto Reed and Hattie Mae Reece Reed. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God of Prophecy. She was the widow of Ed Cagle and sister of the late Luther Reed and Gladys Borden.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby Kenneth Cagle, Billy O'Neal Cagle and Clarence Freddie Cagle, all of Hartselle; two daughters, Mary Helen Wimberly of Hartselle and Mary Ellen Cagle of Decatur; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Lawrimore, Terry Wimberly, Kelly Wimberly, Shane Wimberly, Jason Cagle, Jeremy Vinson, Keith Cagle and Justin Smith.
Auby Dumas
MOULTON -- Funeral for Auby Dumas, 87, of Courtland was to be today at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Wood officiating.
Burial was to be in Grange Hall Cemetery in Trinity.
Mr. Dumas died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at Heritage Manor in Monteagle, Tenn. He was born Jan. 29, 1915, in Morgan County to Jamar Dumas and Eliza Brown Dumas. He was retired from the city of Decatur as a maintenance worker in the Parks and Recreation Department, and was a member of Old Bethel Methodist Church in Courtland.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Opal Dumas; two sons. Pellum Dumas of Courtland and Benton Dumas of Trinity; three daughters, Mildred Turner of Falkville, Barbara West of Courtland and Patricia Bean of Moulton; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Mary Viola Griffis Guyse
Graveside service for Mary Viola Griffis Guyse, 75, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Estes Harden officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Guyse died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at her home. She was born April 23, 1926, in Decatur to Alfred Floyd Griffis and Katie Inez Smith Griffis. A member of the Pentecostal Church, she was the widow of J.R. Guyse and the mother of the late Charles Wright and Kenneth Wright.
Survivors include one brother, Floyd Griffis of Decatur; one sister, Vivian Golden of North Richland Hills, Texas; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Richard Wright, McGee Wright, Ronnie Ogle, David Griffis, Michael Tucker and Richie Kirby.
Antonio Maleke Fields
Graveside service for infant Antonio Maleke Fields of Decatur was Saturday at Roselawn Cemetery with Lanney Parker officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
He died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, the day of his birth, at Decatur General Hospital. He was the grandson of the late Wade Cook.
Survivors include his parents, Leon Fields and April Terry, both of Decatur; and his grandparents, Cynthia Cook and Wendell Bynum and Dorothy Bynum, all of Decatur.
Gene Brindley Horton
Funeral for Gene Brindley Horton of Decatur will be Wednesday at 2:30 at First United Meth- odist Church of Hart- selle with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery with Roselawn Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour before the service.
Mrs. Horton died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at her home. She was born Nov. 16, 1913, in Morgan County to Dr. Thaddus B. Brindley and Martha Louisa Woods Brindley. She was the widow of John Wesley Horton. She taught school in Morgan County for 48½ years, 39½ years of which was at F.E. Burleson Elementary School. She received her bachelor of science degree from the University of North Alabama and her masters degree from Peabody College in Nashville. She received her AA certificate from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville and was one of six finalists for teacher of the year for the Jacksonville State University Hall of Fame program. She was a lifelong resident of North Alabama and first president of the Morgan County Democratic Women's Organization. She was a member of the John Robbins Chapter of the DAR, served as a delegate to the National Education Association Convention, and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma teachers' sorority. She was associated with the Brindley Mill Ancestral Foundation in England. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hartselle.
Survivors include one daughter, Gene Brindley Horton Goodger of Decatur; and one granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Billy Sims, Joe Groover, Bill Evans, and John Howell, David Martin and Charles Smith.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Hartselle, Hospice of the Valley or a favorite charity.
Billy J. Hunt
ATHENS -- Funeral for Billy J. Hunt, 67, of Elkmont was to be today at 2 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. James Wallace and Dennis Wallace officiating.
Burial was to be in Antioch Cemetery in Elkmont.
Mr. Hunt died Sunday, March 10, 2002, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. He was born Dec. 2, 1934, in Madison County.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Hunt; one son, Michael Keith Hunt of Athens; two daughters, Sherry H. Waldron of Toney and Gwen H. Johnson of Madison; two stepsons, Leonard Dunnam and James Dunnam, both of Virginia; one step-daughter, Estrella Farley of Athens; his mother, Cora Lewis of Madison; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Denise Hughes Kirkland
MOULTON -- Graveside service for Denise Hughes Kirkland, 45, of Decatur was Monday at 11 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. John Fain and the Rev. Gordon Welch officiating. Lawrence Funeral Home directed.
Mrs. Hughes died Friday, March 8, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born April 15, 1956, in Selma to Webb Hughes and Miriam Powers Hughes. She was a graduate of Meadowview Christian School in Selma and attended Troy State University and the University of Montevallo. She graduated from the George C. Wallace school of nursing and worked as a registered nurse in the emergency room at Vaughan Regional Hospital and Baptist Medical Center in Selma. After moving to Decatur, she worked at Decatur General Hospital, Parkway Medical Center and Hartselle Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Harry H. Kirkland of Decatur; her parents of Selma; and one sister, Leah Hugh Kinniburgh of Boca Raton, Fla.

Mrs. Prince died Monday, March 11, 2002, at Marshall Medical Center North. She was born July 2, 1921, to Rufus F. Brooks and Bessie Hillard Brooks in Lincoln County, Tenn. She was the widow of George W. Prince Sr., a member of Rescue United Methodist Church, and a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, George W. Prince Jr. of Joppa and Gary Prince of Union Grove; two daughters, Joyce Holt and Brenda Thornton, both of Athens; one brother, Cecil F. Brooks of Harvest; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Daisy Dudley Randolph

She was born April 10, 1942, in Morgan County to Webb Lee Dudley and Maudie Bolden Dudley. She was a homemaker, the widow of Edward Randolph and mother of the late Cindy Shelton.
Survivors include her mother of Hartselle; three brothers, Gene Paul Dudley, Leon Dudley and Benny Dudley, all of Cotaco; three sisters, Juanita Goodner and Jenny Brown, both of Hartselle, and Sandy Roland of Huntsville; and two grandchildren.

Mr. Wiley died Monday, March 11, 2002, at his son's home in Killen. He was born Nov. 27, 1913, in Morgan County to Sim L. Wiley and Ida Wiley. He was a member of Cedar Creek Freewill Baptist Church and Nunn-Oden Masonic Lodge in Hartselle. He retired as a mechanic from the Alabama Department of Transportation. He was the widower of Velda Wiley and brother of the late Freeman Wiley, Jim Wiley, John Wiley, Jack Wiley, Ade Wiley, Billo Wiley, Ilo Dutton and Sallie Dutton.
Survivors include two sons, Luther Thomas of Tucson, Ariz., and Ronnie D. Wiley of Killen; two daughters, Pat Carlisle of Lewisville, Texas, and Helen Hurst of Hartselle; one sister, Frances Tapscott of Falkville; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
