HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Bobby W. Drinkard, 58, of Oden Ridge will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Shelby Puckett, the Rev. Myron Mooney and the Rev. Rick Craft officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Drinkard died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at his home. He was born April 19, 1943, in Morgan County to Sam W. Drinkard and Eva Lovell Drinkard. He worked as a truck driver for ConAgra and Gordon's Transport. He was the brother of the late Carolyn Drinkard.
Survivors include his wife, Norma A. Drinkard; three daughters, Debra Helms of Hartselle, Cindy Yancy of Eva and Tina King of Elkmont; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shorty Briscoe, Joe Roberts, Bennie Drinkard, Gary Drinkard, Cecil Mobley and Frank Knop.

MOULTON -- Funeral for Frank Hutto, 77, of Hillsboro will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Dotson officiating.
Burial will be in Penney Cemetery in Hillsboro. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Hutto died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Jan. 28, 1925, in Lawrence County to Walter Hutto and Virgie Terry Hutto. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include three sons, Buddy Hutto of Moulton, Marty Hutto of Athens and Adam Hutto of Hartselle; four daughters, Sandra Hutto and Cathy Hutto, both of Decatur, Helen Hutto of Moulton and Angie Hutto of Town Creek; one brother, Robert Hutto of Decatur; four sisters, Nola Blasingame and Geraldine Carr, both of Hillsboro, Ola Garrett of Russellville and Nadine Harville of Moulton; and 13 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joel Murphree, Johnathon Campbell, Charlie Blasingame, Lewis Blasingame, Tony Blasingame and Ray Rutherford.
C. Randal Johnson
BIRMINGHAM -- Memorial service for C. Randal Johnson, 44, of Birmingham will be Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Johns-Ridout's Funeral Parlor is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Johnson died Monday, March 18, 2002, at his home. He was born March 26, 1957, in Mishawaka, Ind., to Charles Leland Johnson and Margaret Ann Johnson. He served with the Navy SEALS and graduated from The University of Alabama School of Law. He practiced law in Birmingham and was active in various organizations, including the Birmingham Track Club, the Porsche Club of America and the Civitan Club. He also served as a frequent guest lecturer at The University of Alabama School of Law. He was the grandson of the late Frank Verner.
Survivors include one brother, Kerry Frank Johnson of Los Angeles; three sisters, Lisa Ann Hubbard of Hillsboro, Renee Hubbard of Trinity and Michelle Choate of Harvest; his mother, Margaret Ann Bateman and his stepfather, Richard Bateman, of New Hope; and his grandmother, Pauline Verner of Decatur.
Memorials may be made to the Birmingham Humane Society or another charitable organization.
Sherman Jackson Lawrimore
HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Sherman Jackson Lawrimore, 62, of Hartselle will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Willard Roberts officiating.
Burial will be in Pines Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mr. Lawrimore died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born May 21, 1939, in Lawrence County to Lonnie Jackson Lawrimore and Frances Parker Lawrimore. He was a member of Pines Baptist Church and brother of the late Mattie Sue Coan.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Lawrimore; eight sons, Ronnie Lawrimore, Sammy G. Lawrimore, Jeff Lawrimore, and Dwight Lawrimore and Steven Barber, all of Hartselle, Thomas Ray Lawrimore of Falkville, and Ricky Barber and Paul Barber, both of Auburndale, Fla.; three daughters, Teresa Lawrence of Hartselle, Verna Loflin of Decatur and Cindy Payne of Madison; one brother, Herman Lawrimore of Mount Hope; one sister, Elizabeth Free of Hartselle; 23 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Lawrimore, Shane Wimberly, Kelly Wimberly, Dewayne Coan, Glen Free, "Bubba" Charles Vinson, Billy Cagle and Delton Lawrimore.
Virginia Jones Moebes
BIRMINGHAM -- Funeral for Virginia Jones Moebes of Birmingham, who has family in the Decatur area, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Elmwood Chapel.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moebes died Monday, March 18, 2002, at Plantation Manor in McCalla. She was a graduate of Phillips High School and Birmingham Southern College. She was a member of Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church, Alpha Chi Omega sorority and Vestavia Country Club. She was the widow of Carl George Moebes and the sister of the late Simon Jones Sr.
Survivors include one sister, Nellie Blanche Cunningham of Birmingham; two nieces; two nephews; three grand nieces; and five grand nephews.
Henry Lee Shadrick

Mr. Shadrick died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at South Morgan Health Care. He was born June 10, 1915, in Madison County to Charlie Shadrick and Laura Samantha Praytor Shadrick. He was a retired self-employed carpenter.
Survivors include one son, Billy Shadrick of Somerville; two daughters, Wanda Shadrick Taylor of Center Grove and Gwen Shadrick Owens of Atlanta; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Rosie Lee Terry

Mrs. Terry died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at Sunbridge Health Care. She was born Dec. 19, 1912, in Lawrence County, to Henry Terry and Alice Terry. She was a homemaker and the widow of John B. Terry.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Schulte of Muscle Shoals; two brothers, Tennis Terry and Harbin Terry, both of Moulton; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

James Ray Winton

Mr. Winton died Monday, March 18, 2002, at his home. He was born Oct. 29, 1964, in Morgan County, to J.R. Westmoreland Sr. and Wanda Winton Westmoreland. He was a self-employed welder.
Survivors include his wife, Lyn Winton; one son, James Ray Winton Jr. of Moulton; one daughter, Summer Winton of Moulton; one stepson, Paul Schmalfeldt of Moulton; two stepdaughters, Shannon Schemalfeldt of Florence and Nicole Schmalfeldt of Michigan; his parents, of Somerville; seven brothers, J.R. Elisabeth Orr Davis
ATHENS -- Funeral for Elisabeth Orr Davis, 71, of Leggtown will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Central Church of Christ with Dr. Steven Chandler, Jimmy Moffett and Bill Irby officiating.
Burial will be at Legg Cemetery with Limestone Chapel Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.
Mrs. Davis died Thursday, March 21, 2002, at her home. She was born Jan. 19, 1931, in Leggtown to Hughey and Vashti Adkins. She retired from Limestone County Schools after teaching for 27 years and was a member of Central Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Byron Davis; one son, Carl Davis of Leggtown; one daughter, Nita Stephens of Athens; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Gene Stewart, Hugh Strain, Leonard Plunk, Robert Wise, Theo Calvin, Tommy Carter and Buster Jackson.

Woodrow Holmes Golden

Mr. Golden died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. He was born in Chambers County and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Five Points. He was also active in the Glencoe Bible Methodist Church. He was the widower of Nell Golden and the father of the late Ronnie Golden.
Survivors include two sons, David L. Golden of Attalla and Timothy Golden of Birmingham; one daughter, Judy Nell Davenport of Attalla; one sister, Sarah Thomlinson of Five Points; one step-brother, Rudy Golden of Roanoke; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Billy Ray Haggard

Mr. Haggard died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at his home. He was born Aug. 16, 1938, in Morgan County. He was retired from Sonoco Baker Division in Hartselle, where he worked for 23 years.
Survivors include his wife, Linnie "Sis" Haggard; three sons, Larry Cox of Hollywood, Tim Cox of Villa Rica, Ga., and John Haggard of Decatur; one daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Lee of Birmingham; five brothers, Johnny Haggard and Earl Haggard, both of Trinity, Bobby Haggard and Dwight Haggard, both of Decatur, and Jerry Haggard of Florence; five sisters, Flora Lee Milligan and Mary Joyce Haynes, both of Trinity, Audrey Kilpatrick of Decatur, Dorothy Jean Goodwin of Cullman and Ann Waddel of Moulton; and eight grandchildren.

Nathan 'Nate' Hill

Mr. Hill died Thursday, March 21, 2002, at the Floyd E. "Tut" Fann Veterans Home in Huntsville. He was born May 25, 1910, in Morgan County to Hardy Bert Hill and Nancy Sidney Baber Hill. He was the widower of Helen Hill, father of the late Ross Hill and Tracey Hill and brother of the late Alvin Hill, John Hill and Ola Pannett. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Assemblies of God, an avid raccoon hunter and a retired automobile mechanic.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Hill of Trinity and Freddie Hill of Decatur; one daughter, Nancy Haggermaker of Decatur; one brother, J.C. Hill of Decatur; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Richard Herbert, Tony Hill, Michael Hill, Todd Hill, Nick Hill and Ross Haggermaker.

The infant died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur.

Mrs. Kyle died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1920, in Limestone County to Jim and Nancy Jane Moran. She was a member of O'Neal Church of Christ. She was the widow of Oscar Kyle and the grandmother of the late Mark Kyle.
Survivors include one son, James O. Kyle of Athens; two daughters, Betty Johns and Linda Clem, both of Athens; one brother, Jim Henry Moran of Athens; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
