HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Kathleen "Nell" Livingston, 62, of Falkville will be Wednesday at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Tim Kinney and the Rev. Gary Miller officiating.
Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 4:30 until 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Livingston died Monday, March 25, 2002, at her residence. She was born Aug. 1, 1939, in Cullman County to Basil Avery Eargle Sr. and Azzlee Runge Eargle. She was a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church but visited Victorious Life Church in Eva. She owned and operated Silk Creations Florist. She was the widow of Milford Livingston and mother of the late Deborah Lynn Reeves.
Survivors include three daughters, Laura Denise Gray, Diane Morgan and Delores Livingston, all of Falkville; her mother of Falkville; three brothers, Basil Eargle and Jeff Eargle, both of Falkville, and Michael Eargle of Cullman; three sisters, Deen Morgan and Beverly Bates, both of Falkville, and Lynett "Nett" Graham of Cullman; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Reeves, Virgil Gray, Charles Morgan, William "Smitty" Smith, Jason Gray and Ronald Veal.
Lonnie McClendon
ATHENS -- Lonnie McClendon, 48, of Athens died today, March 26, 2002, at Huntsville Hospital. McConnell Funeral Home will announce arrangements.
Alexie Rain Brook Gilbert Ragsdale
Funeral for Alexie Rain Brook Gilbert Ragsdale, 97, of Decatur was Monday at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Holt officiating.
Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Ragsdale died Saturday, March 23, 2002, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born March 25, 1904, in Jefferson County to Jeffie Nolen Gilbert and Luna Page Gilbert. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
She was wife of the late Claude Ragsdale Sr. and mother of the late Jeff Ragsdale, Roland Ragsdale, Claude Ragsdale Jr. and Alma Grace Thomas.
Survivors include three sons, Lindbergh M. Ragsdale of Decatur, John G. Ragsdale of Hartselle and Van Ragsdale of Moulton; three daughters, Sylvia Pridmore of Moulton, Auriel Lee Terry and Sybil Neathammer, both of Decatur; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
Winifred 'Winnie' Roberts
Funeral for Winifred "Winnie" Roberts, 41, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Franklin officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery with Sharpley Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8 at the funeral home. The body will be in the church one hour before the funeral.
Mrs. Roberts died Thursday, March 21, 2002, in Birmingham. She was born July 29, 1960, in Bridgeport, Conn., to Clarence Rawls and Lillie B. Rawls.
She was a 1979 graduate of Central High School in Bridgeport and received an associate degree from Housatonic Community College, also in Bridgeport. She also received a medial transcription degree from Butler Business School. She married Harold Roberts Sr. in 1980. She was a member of St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Roberts Jr. and Clarence Roberts, both of Decatur; her mother of Decatur; two sisters, Evelyn Bennett of Decatur and Hattie Williams of Boykin; and six brothers, Willie Pettway of Boykin, Jesse Pettway, Austin Perkins, Ronald Rawls and Clyde Rawls, all of Bridgeport, Conn., and Ralph Rawls of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be the Rev. Darryl Watkins, the Rev. Barry Causey, Deacon Brown, Michael Stovall and Ben Valentine.
Gabino Sanchez Jr.
Funeral for Gabino Sanchez Jr., 7, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church with the Rev. John J. Zuluaga officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 6 at the church. A Rosary service will be at 6 at the church.
The child died Monday, March 25, 2002, at Decatur General Hospital.
He was born Sept. 26, 1994, in Tijuana, Mexico, to Gabino Sanchez and Misaebe Vargas Sanchez. He was a first-grade student at West Morgan Elementary School.
Survivors include his parents, both of Decatur; one brother, Daniel Sanchez of Decatur; two sisters, Melina Sanchez and Nathaly Sanchez, both of Decatur; and his grandfather, Benito Sanchez of Guerrero, Mexico.
Pallbearers will be Julio Rivera, Jesus Rivera, Francisco Chavez, Magdaleno Torres, Alfred Sanchez and Luis Sanchez.
Troy Lee Watts
Graveside service for Troy Lee Watts, 73, of Decatur will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Cagle officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Watts died Sunday, March 24, 2002, in Decatur.
He was born Feb. 1, 1929, in Sumiton to Lawrence Reece Watts and Myrtle Missouri Jones Watts. He was a member of Flint Baptist Church. He was the brother of the late Iristine McCaig.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Watts; one son, Darren Watts of Decatur; one brother, Cordis L. Watts of Birmingham; four sisters, Thelda Kenerley and Shirley Kenerley, both of Birmingham; Christine Allred of San Pablo, Calif., and Shelia Hartline of Bessemer; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Frank Little, Austin Gillespie, Randy Barbery, Roger Cobb, Herschel Freeman, Nathaniel Self, Johnny Self and Sebern Self.

Mrs. Cagle died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. She was born Oct. 17, 1911, in Lawrence County to Walter Russell and Lillie Roberson Russell. She was a homemaker and the widow of Walter Cagle. Mrs. Cagle was the mother of the late James Russell Cagle.

Lonnie Eugene McClendon
ATHENS -- Funeral service for Lonnie Eugene McClendon, 48, of Athens will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home with Junior Long officiating.

Mr. McClendon died Monday, March 25, 2002, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born July 24, 1953, in Morgan County to Eddie Carl McClendon and Pearlie Haggenmaker McClendon. He was a lifelong resident of Limestone County. He worked as a painter in Athens.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Moss McClendon; two sons, Dale Allen McClendon and Billy Monroe Wallace, both of Athens; four daughters, Amanda Gail Navas, Crystal Wallace Sain, Rosanna Marie McClendon and Lonni Jean McClendon, all of Athens; two brothers, Raymond Peeks of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Layne McClendon of Mount Pleasant, Tenn.; two sisters, Brenda Gail Siniard of Athens and Janice Marie Downey of Kalamazoo; and eight grandchildren.

BIRMINGHAM -- Funeral for Magnolia Owens, 94, of Moulton will be Thursday at noon at Freeman Tabernacle Church.

Mrs. Owens died Saturday, March 23, 2002, at West Morgan Health Care in Trinity. She was born Jan. 22, 1908, to Melvin and Lula Daniels Alexander.
Survivors include one son, Richard Griffin; four daughters, Barbara Reid, Margie Leach, Elizabeth Williams and Lela Reaves; five sisters, Frances Alexander, Eloyce Alexander, Marlene Townsend, Claudette Claiborne and Martha Stamps; and two granddaughters.
James Waymon 'Jim' Rodgers
ARDMORE -- Funeral service for James Wayman "Jim" Rodgers, 58, of Ardmore, Tenn., will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Taylor-Ardmore Funeral Home with Bruce Walters officiating.
Burial will be in Blanche Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6:30 to 9 and Thursday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Rodgers died Monday, March 25, 2002, in Huntsville. He was born Dec. 3, 1943, in Giles County, Tenn., to Cecil and Kathleen Toone Rodgers. He was the grandson of the late Edd and Ida Toone. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and spent 20 years in the Tennessee National Guard before retiring as a master sergeant. He worked at Monsanto, now Solutia, in Decatur for 32 years.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Rodgers; one son, James Davis Rodgers of Petersburg, Tenn.; three stepsons, Danny Petty of Eau Claire, Wisc., Herbie Briggs of Columbia, Tenn., and Allen Briggs of St. George, Utah; two stepdaughters, Jina Hargrove of Jackson, Tenn., and Trinity Briggs of Nashville; and 13 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include Jessie Shannon, Jimmy Shannon, Bobby Rich, Earl Rich, Joe White and Dan Elkins.
The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
Anna 'Marcille' Dotson

Mrs. Dotson died Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born Dec. 23, 1928, in Town Creek to Dewey Brackin and Solon Grissom Brackin. She was the widow of Willie Dotson.
Survivors include two sons, Grady Wayne Dotson and Nathan Wayne Dotson, both of Decatur; two daughters, Barbara Faye Laymon of Morgan County and Joan Whitehead of Decatur; three sisters, Dean Easley, Mary Morgan and Shirley Sullins, all of Decatur; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hill died Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was born Nov. 26, 1923, in Lawrence County to Riley and Ida Miller Hill. He was a World War II Army veteran and a farmer. He was the widower of Melenne Gibson Hill.
Survivors include five sons, Bobby Hill of Moulton, Danny Hill of Chalybeate, Tim Hill of Hackleburg, Billy Hill of Moulton and Roger Hill of Moulton; three daughters, Judy Borden of Moulton, Barbara Johnson of Moulton and Betty Montgomery of Alberta; two brothers, Johnny Hill and R.B. Hill, both of Speake; four sisters, Tolise Kriss of Chicago, Essie Montgomery and Hazel Kelso, both of Speake, and Lois Kelso of Moulton; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Willie Mae 'Billie' Jenkins

Mrs. Jenkins died Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at West Morgan Health Care. She was born Nov. 5, 1914, in Jonesboro, Ark., to William L. Hamman and Mae Mifflin Hamman. She was a member of Caddo United Methodist Church, Mary Lou Dancy Eastern Star Chapter and the White Shrine. She was the widow of Floyd Lee Jenkins.
Survivors include three sons, Joe Jenkins of Trinity, and Travis Jenkins and Rickie Jenkins, both of Decatur; one stepdaughter, Peggy Sue Henderson of Jonesboro; one brother, Rufus W. Hamman of Hattiesburg, Miss.; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
