Funeral for Nettie Ann Williams, 88, of Falkville was Saturday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m. at Bell Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Ralph Henderson and Steve Rodgers officiating.
Burial was in Bell Springs Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003, at Hartselle Medical Center. A native of Marion County, she was the widow of Henry Grady Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of Bell Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Cecil Williams of Falkville; two daughters, Lois Via of Hartselle and Joyce Cook of Falkville; three sisters, Mae Cole of Falkville, Mildred Hopper of Hartselle and Estella Pierce of Vinemont; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Anthony Sheppard, Brian Hanson, Lynn Lindsey, Tony Harris, Jerry Pierce and Trainnice Young.
Margaret Inez Hopper

Funeral for Margaret Inez Hopper, 75, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Garrison officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Garden.
Mrs. Hopper died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, at Falkville Healthcare Center. A native of Cullman County, she was the widow of James Hopper and mother of the late Debbie Ann Hopper. She owned PoHouse Vittles in Hartselle from 1977 to 1988. She was a charter member of the First Assembly of God Church in Hartselle.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Wilburn and Sue Hill, both of Hartselle; two brothers, Dean Harden of Decatur and Felix Harden Jr., of Hartselle; one sister, Laura Burrough of Huntsville; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jeff Harden, Randy Harden, Danny Harden, Michael Harden, Curtis Hopper and Ronnie Lawrimore.
Honorary pallbearers were grandsons.

A graveside service for Denny C. Wynn, 85, of Hartselle was Saturday, Jan. 11, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. John Shaddix officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Wynn died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, at Beverly Healthcare Center in Hoover. A native of Morgan County, he was a U.S. Army veteran who served in South Africa during World War II.
He is survived by three nieces, Margaret Puckett of Hartselle, Nancey Cash of Decatur and Dianne McCurry of Munford; and two nephews, John Shaddix of Eastaboga and Earl Shaddix of Portland, Ore.
Lorene Williams Mooney

Funeral for Lorene Williams Mooney, 72, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.T. Copeland Jr. officiating.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Mooney died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, at her residence. A native of Jefferson County, she was the widow of Alfred Gaston Mooney and sister of the late Frederick Francis Williams. She was a human service aide for the Morgan County Department of Human Resources for 20 years. She was a member of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Aldridge and Aubrey Lee Robinson, both of Birmingham; one daughter, Rebecca Robinson Ashley of Hartselle; one grandson, Richard Knighten Robinson; and two granddaughters, Anna Marie Robinson and Kayla Brooke Geesling.
Pallbearers were Ronald Keith Edge, Gregory Lawrence Hanes, Kenneth Lee Bagby, Joe Henry Reid Jr., Thomas Lee Harris and Jonathan Bartley Harris.

Funeral services for Arthur Clifton Hagood, 70, of Decatur, was Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Eva Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with the Revs. Phillip Robinson, Raymond Stinson and Hugh Bohlin officiating.
Burial was in Lawrence Cove Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Hagood died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at Moulton Health Care Center. A native of Lawrence County, he was the father of the late Randall Hagood. He retired as a truck driver from Littrell Lumber Co. after 25 years of service. He was a Korean War veteran and a member of Eva Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris Hagood of Decatur; one son, Clifton Hagood of Decatur; one daughter, Rachel Dearman of Decatur; one brother, Dean Hagood of Monroe, La.; one sister, Mary Lou Hillman of Grayson, La.; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Childers, Andrew Roper, Aldridge Roper, Chris Hall, Jarrett Hall, Phillip Frost and Matthew Frost.

Funeral for Daniel Lanier Shaw, 55, of Hartselle was Saturday, Jan. 4, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Willard Reeves officiating.
Mr. Shaw died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, at his residence. A native of Jefferson County he was a field technician for DCI Calibration. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by two sons, Clifford Dean Shaw and Danny Kevin Shaw, both of Birmingham; his mother, Vernie W. Shaw of Birmingham; two brothers, David E. Shaw and James Ric Shaw, both of Birmingham; one sister, Emily J. Clark of Hartselle; and two grandchildren.

Funeral for Buddy Johnson, 43, of Hartselle will be Friday, April 26, at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewitt Crowe officiating.
Burial will be in the New Center Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson died Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at his residence. A native of Morgan County, he was an auto painter and body repairman at Johnson Body Shop. He was a member of the New Center Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Paul Edward Johnson.
He is survived by one son, Buddy Wayne Johnson of Muscle Shoals; his mother, Jean Blankenship Johnson of Hartselle; three brothers, Jack Edward "Jacky" Johnson and Paul David Johnson, both of Hartselle and Timothy Dale Johnson of Somerville; two sisters, Carla Johnson Ransom and Connie Johnson Hardin, both of Hartselle; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Bean, Paul Wayne Tapscott, Stanley Walls, Tony Ransom, Kenny Posey, Billy Phillips, Marty Walls and Mickey Allen.

Memorial services for Frances M. Shannon, 95, of Decatur will be Thursday, April 25 (today), at 7 p.m. at Priceville Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove, Mich.
Mrs. Shannon died Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at Falkville Healthcare Center. A native of Minnesota, she was a homemaker. She was a life member of the Eastern Stars and served in many posts including matron of honor in Michigan. She spent many years as a 4-H Club leader. She was the widow of Harten Shannon and the mother of the late Dean Shannon and James Shannon. She was the grandmother of the late Lee Anne Durling and Stephen Shannon.
She is survived by one son, Herb Shannon of Lady Lake, Fla.; one daughter, Mary Achenbach of Decatur; one brother, Jack Gilbert of Akron, Ohio; two sisters, Marie Ramsden of Fairgrove, Mich. and Marium Deming of Caro, Mich.; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
