Funeral for Robert Marion Bowers, 63, of Moulton was Monday, September 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with Jim Bowers and Charles Stidham officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Bowers died Saturday, September 11, 1999, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital in Decatur. He was a native of Limestone County and a member of County Line Church of Christ. He was retired from Teledyne Brown Corp in Huntsville, where he worked as an engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Ernestine (Teenie) Bowers of Moulton; three sons, Rick Bowers of Danville, and Chris Bowers and Darwin Bowers, both of Moulton; three brothers, Jim Bowers of Athens, Floyd Bowers of Hartselle and John Bowers of Toney; three sisters, Elsie Wynn of Jacksonville, Fla., Pauline Moore of Mayville, Mich., and Martha Bullington of Athens; and six grandchildren.
Grandsons and nephews were pallbearers.
Ruth Inez Brown
Funeral for Ruth Inez Brown, 89, of Valhermoso Springs was Sunday, September 12, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Snowden officiating.
Burial was in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown died Thursday, September 9, 1999, at Huntsville Hospital. She was a native of Colbert County and the widow of Elton Brown. She attended Talucah Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Nettie Sue Sparks of Valhermoso Springs; one brother, J.N. Bridges of Gadsden; two sisters, Rebecca Congo and Johnnie Aday, both of Athens; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Leonard Brown, Bobby Chunn, David Graveman, Michael Chase Moore, Lonnie Turney, Mike Dunnaway and Robert Dudley.
Sebron White
Funeral for Sebron White, 74, of Danville was Monday, September 13, at 2:30 p.m. at Valley Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Wayne Turner and Francis Proctor officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. White died Friday, September 10, 1999, at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence County and a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from Sexton Can Company, where he worked as a machinist. He was a military policeman in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jo White of Danville; two daughters, Helen McDonald of Moulton and Janice Boger of Danville; one brother, Calvin White of Decatur; one sister, Marie McLemore of Danville; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Gary Brown, Steve White, Don Aldridge, Don Boger, Gary Warnick and Damion McLemore.
Vernease (Blondie) Brooks
Funeral for Vernease (Blondie) Brooks, 75, of Somerville was Wednesday, September 15, at 3:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rayburn Morgan officiating.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Mrs. Brooks died Monday, September 13, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. She was a native of Morgan County and attended New Center Baptist Church. She was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.
She is survived by two sisters, Cora Lee Luker of Cotaco and Trixie Henry of Livingston, Tex.
Nephews were pallbearers.
Wilda R. French

Mrs. French died Wednesday, September 8, 1999, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. She was a native of Lawrence County and retired from Limestone County Stockyard in Athens and Valley Stockyard in Decatur.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna French Townshend of Mason, Mich.; one son, John Hector French, III, of Athens; and one sister, Christine Burch of Danville.
Pallbearers were Berry Cook, Tom Dunnavant, Jimmy B. Walker, Joe Broadwater, Bill Nelson and H.L. King.
Willie Lee Johnson, Sr.
Funeral for Willie Lee Johnson, Sr., 66, of Moulton was Saturday, September 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger White officiating.
Burial was in Owens Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson died Thursday, September 9, 1999, at Glenwood Convalescent Home. He was a native of Florence and a retired truck driver. He attended Full Gospel Church.
He is survived by one son, Willie Lee Johnson, III, of Danville; one daughter, Kathy Wayand of Hartselle; three sisters, Bessie Durham of Indiana, Laura Dean Smith of Arkansas and Juanita Little of Montgomery; one half-brother, Denny Johnson of Arkansas; four half-sisters, Maggie Ann Parrish, Janice Borden and Nina Faye Johnson, all of Florence; and Mary Smith of Arkansas; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jeremiah Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Frank White, Howard Hagood, Harold Hagood and James Turbyfill.
Zachary Allen Breeding
A graveside service for Zachary Allen Breeding, infant, of Priceville was Monday, September 13, at 1:00 p.m. at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Phillip Hines officiating.
The infant died Saturday, September 11, 1999, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born the same day in Decatur.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Susan Breeding of Priceville; his grandparents, Jim and Jackie Davis of Lacey's Spring and Bob and Beverly Wilson of Decatur; and his great grandparents, Bill and Margie Wampler of Lacey's Spring, Louie and Delores Gilchrist of Hartselle, Bettye Breeding of Somerville and Al and Frances Davis of Madelia, Minn.
