Funeral for Terry Glenn Smith, 48, of Priceville was Thursday, December 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Joey Cannady officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Smith died Wednesday, December 22, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Marshall County and a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. He was employed as an operator at Amoco Chemical Co., a councilman and mayor pro tem of the town of Priceville and a member of Priceville Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by one son, Casey Smith of Priceville; two daughters, Heather Smith and Kelly Smith, both of Priceville; his mother and father, Novis Smith and Emmitt Smith, both of Albertville; two brothers, Dennis Smith and Al Smith, both of Albertville; two sisters, Deborah Karr of Horton and Lara Price of Boaz; and one grandson.
Members of the No. 5 Unit at BP Amoco were pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were Priceville volunteer fire fighters.
Jerry Lee Livingston

Funeral for Jerry Lee Livingston, 52, of Eva was Sunday, December 26, at 2:00 p.m. at Eva United Methodist Church with the Revs. Tim Kinney and Brady McCullough officiating.
Burial was in Eva Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Livingston died Thursday, December 23, 1999, at his mother's residence. He was a native of Cullman County, a member of Eva United Methodist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his father, Roamer Lee Livingston.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth Livingston of Eva; one brother, Gary Lewis Livingston of Eva; and one sister, Rose Mary Harvey of Tupelo, Miss.
Pallbearers were David Holmes, Brynda Gail Aday, Ken Jones, Danny Wallace, George Cooper and Sammie Nelson.
Rev. Jerry Ottis Oden

Funeral for the Rev. Jerry Ottis Oden, 53, of Eva, was Monday, December 27, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Harlon Hood and Tim Kinney officiating.
Burial was in Oden Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Oden died Friday, December 24, 1999, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was a native of Cullman County and a member and pastor of West Point Baptist Church in Somerville. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and the father of the late Mark Oden.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Patton Oden of Eva; one son, Michael Oden of Madison; one daughter, Michelle Oden Taylor of Madison; his parents, Ottis and Flora Nelson Oden of Robertsdale; and one brother, Allen Oden of Foley.
Pallbearers were Allen Oden, Billy Patton, Bobby Patton, Jeff Henderson, Lafett Hendrix and David Mangum.
Quentin Hendrix and Lewis Cornett were honorary pallbearers.
Violet Dorothy Briscoe

Mrs. Briscoe died Sunday, December 26, 1999, at Huntsville Hospital. She was a native of Morgan County and a waitress at LeCroy's Restaurant.
She is survived by two sons, Ken Thomas of Somerville and John Hugh Briscoe of Joppa; four daughters, Pam Owen, Frankie Jo Lamb, and Wanda Jean Malone, all of Somerville, and Beth Christian of Joppa; three brothers, Paul Haynes of Michigan, Jack Morrow of Tennessee and Joe Morrow of Somerville; two sisters, Opal Bryant of Center Grove and Margaret Taylor of Arab; 11 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Mr. Cartee died Sunday, December 26, 1999, in Moulton. He was a native of Morgan County and a construction worker. He was the grandson of the late Erdean Cartee.
He is survived by his father, Amos Paul Cartee of Moulton; his mother, Patsy Williams Naylor of Moulton; two brothers, Jesse Dalton of Moulton and Johnathon Farley of Decatur; two sisters, Felicia Naylor and Etta Williams, both of Moulton; and his grandparents, Paul Cartee of Moulton, George and Etta Williams and Donna Holt, all of Decatur, Jesse Lott of Hartselle and Leon Tulley Williams of Georgia.

She is survived by her husband, Leroy Pope of Vinemont; one son, Roger Lee Pope of Decatur; three daughters, Janice Paulette Pope, Wanda Hawkins and Rhonda Horn, all of Vinemont; one brother, Hugh Rogers of Cullman; three sisters, Beulah Vest of Winston County, Eula Buckelew of Hartselle and Emma Johnson of Eva; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Mrs. McPherson died Monday, December 27, 1999, at Parkway Medical Center. She was a native of Marion County and a member of Shotsville Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Foy Lee McPherson of Decatur; two sons, Charles (Chuck) McPherson and Timothy Lee McPherson, both of Decatur; three daughters, Patricia Fay Howard and Shirley Juanita Massey, both of Decatur, and Rita Ann Corum of Danville; one brother, Hugh Kennedy Chandler, Sr., of Decatur; and 12 grandchildren.
