Funeral for Lyle Olen Kelsoe, 65, of Speake was Tuesday, November 30, at 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with J.C. Graves and Darrell Thornton officiating.
Burial was in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Kelsoe died Saturday, November 27, 1999, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center in Moulton. He was a native of Lawrence County and a member of Hillsboro Heights Church of Christ in Moulton. He was retired from Redstone Arsenal, where he worked 30 years with the Department of Defense in the calibration lab. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Mignonette Warren Kelsoe of Speake; three sons, Warren Rea Kelsoe of Pensacola, Fla., Gregory Lyle Kelsoe of Orlando, Fla., and Todd Olen Kelsoe of Speake; his parents, J. Leldon and Trudie Weaver Kelsoe of Speake; one brother, Houston W. Kelsoe of Falkville; one sister, Margaret Kelsoe Richard of Speake; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mark Crumley, Andy Weems, Steve Hutto, Eddie Dean Kelsoe, Roy Houston Kelsoe and Phillip Warren.
Virgil L. Kelly

Funeral for Virgil L. Kelly, 52, of Decatur was Saturday, November 27, at 11:00 a.m. at New Center Baptist Church with the Rev. Timothy Harrison officiating.
Burial was in Morris Chapel Cemetery in Moulton.
Mr. Kelly died Tuesday, November 23, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Morgan County and was employed at Goodyear as a millworker for 25 years.
He is survived by his mother, Irene Kelly of Decatur; three brothers, Ernie David Kelly of Hartselle, Richard Isaac Kelly, Jr., of Falkville and Howard Kelly of Moulton; five sisters, Maxine Reed and Kathy Hobbs, both of Moulton, and Martha Humphrey, Judy Powell and Mona Kelley, all of Decatur.
Nephews and friends were pallbearers.

Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Parrish died Friday, November 26, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Cullman County and a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. He was the retired owner of Valley Roofing and Building Supply.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Parrish of Decatur, one son, Byron Parrish of Decatur; three daughters, Sammie Kay Danford and Kim Arndt, both of Cullman, and Jimmie Hopper of Eva; one brother, Keith Parrish of Cullman; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Lamar George, Albert Murphy, Willard Bowling, Lynn Ennis, Doug Long and Odell Alred.

Funeral for Joyce Rodgers DeVaney, 68, of Hartselle was Wednesday, December 1, at 11:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial followed at 2:00 p.m. at DeVaney Cemetery in Russellville with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. DeVaney died Monday, November 29, 1999, at her residence. She was a native of Morgan County and a legal secretary for Guin, Bouldin & Porch law firm. She was a member of North Highland Church of Christ in Russellville and attended Hartselle Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry DeVaney of Raleigh, N.C., and Robert L. DeVaney of Charlotte, N.C.; two brothers, William E. (Buddy) Rodgers of Alabama and Bob Rodgers of Decatur; four sisters, Othella Rodgers, Margaret Dahlgren, Mary Frances Rodgers and Carolyn Nicholson, all of Hartselle; and three grandchildren.

Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Reed died Tuesday, November 23, 1999, at his residence. He was a native of Texas and attended Decatur Baptist Church. He was retired from Monsanto Company after 29 years and served in the U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor during World War II. He was the brother of the late Lynn Reed.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Reed of Trinity; three daughters, Linda Speakman of Rosemark, Tenn., Diane Wright of Hartselle and Patricia Hardiman of Decatur; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Grandsons and nephews were pallbearers.

Mr. Israel died Wednesday, November 24, 1999, at Carraway Burdick-West Hospital in Haleyville. He was a native of Winston County and a member of First Baptist Church in Haleyville. He was retired from Illinois Central Gulf Railroad as a conductor. He served in World War II as a sergeant and received four bronze stars and medals for conduct and for serving in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He was a Mason and a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Evelyn Israel and Betty Israel Gable, and one brother,
