Funeral for Jerry Wayne Watson, 49, of Hartselle was Sunday, November 7, at 3:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Revs. Jack Lemmond and Jerry DeBell officiating.
Burial was in Shoal Creek Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Watson died Friday, November 5, 1999, at University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham. He was a native of Morgan County and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was a design developer at 3M Company.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Watson of Hartselle; one son, David Wayne Watson of Hartselle; two daughters, Katherine Nicole Britt of Hartselle and Karen Melissa Barnett of Decatur; his mother, Mary Elizabeth Watson of Hartselle; one brother, Johnny Watson of Hartselle; one sister, Brenda Smith of Hartselle; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jackie Looney, Billy Tom Blankenship, Mike Black,Wesley Motes, Larry Wells, Martin Millsap, Bobby Tidwell, Tommy Adcock, Ferrell Britt and Jimmy Lentz.

Ruthie Jean
Kirby Martin

Funeral for Ruthie Jean Kirby Martin, 62, of Hartselle was Sunday, November 7, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Vincent officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin died Thursday, November 4, 1999, at Baptist Medical Center- Montclair in Birmingham. She was a native of Morgan County and a nurse's aide supervisor at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Martin, Sr., of Hartselle; one son, James Louis Martin, Jr. of Hartselle; one daughter, Judy Ann Peck of Hartselle; one brother, Joe Kirby of Arab; one sister, Faye Bradford of Falkville; and five grandchildren.

Minnie Rea
Thompson Booth
November 8, 1999

Funeral for Minnie Rea Thompson Booth, 78, of Hartselle, will be Thursday, November 11, at 10:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. WG Henry and Mason Booth officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Booth died Monday, November 8, 1999. She was a native of Lawrence County and a retired dairy farmer. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hartselle and the widow of DeWitt Vaughn Booth.
She is survived by one son, William Booth of Hartselle; four daughters, Salley Booth Cheatham, Pearl Booth McCarley, Lucy Booth and Annie Booth Lemons, all of Hartselle; two sisters, Willie Pearl McCown of Hartselle and Edith Green of St. Petersburg, Fla.; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brad Cheatham, Scott McCarley, Tim Miller, Powers Teague, Kenneth Vest and Brian Windchester.

Arlen Paul Coleman
November 3, 1999

Funeral for Arlen Paul Coleman, 77, of Falkville was Friday, November 5, at 1:00 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Bob Ross officiating.
Burial was in Red Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Coleman died Wednesday, November 3, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Lawrence County and a member of Berea Baptist Church. He was a retired truck driver with Pitts Concrete Co. and a U.S. Army veteran of World II.
He is survived by his wife, Ollie Mae Sanford Coleman of Falkville; one son, Jerome Wayne Coleman of Moulton; one daughter, Gennie Coleman Hawkins of Moulton; four stepsons, Terry Gilliland and Ralph Gilliland, both of Falkville, Howard Gilliland of Missouri and Joe Gilliland of Texas; one stepdaughter, Debbie Ray of Falkville; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Greg Coleman, Jeff Coleman, Chris Hamilton, Steven Smith, Anthony Morris and Ricky Naylor.

Mary Geneva Baldwin
November 8, 1999

Funeral for Mary Geneva Baldwin, 77, of Somerville was Wednesday, November 10, at 2:00 p.m. at Somerville Church of God with the Revs. Pearl Jenkins and Otto Yount officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Baldwin died Monday, November 8, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. She was a native of Morgan County and a member of Somerville Church of God. She operated Baldwin Grocery Store in Somerville and was the widow of T.J. (Doc) Baldwin.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Ann McClendon of Florette and Mary Jo Baldwin of Somerville; one brother, Thad B. Wright of Franklinton, La.; one sister, Linda Jarrett of Center Point; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Michael Clemons, Jeff Clemons, Thad B. Wright, Mark McClendon, David McClendon and Lonnie Williams.

Eva Ann Gibson
November 7, 1999

A graveside service for Eva Ann Gibson, 85, of Decatur was Tuesday, November 9, at 10:00 a.m. at Basham United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Orville Collins officiating.
Mrs. Gibson died Sunday, November 7, 1999, at Windsor House Nursing Home in Huntsville. She was a native of Morgan County and was retired from Schott Industries.
She is survived by her husband, Chester Gibson of Decatur; one son, James Lee Jones of Florida; one daughter, Anita Brewer of Moulton; one stepson, James Gibson of Decatur; two stepdaughters, Barbara Sperr and Faye Agee, both of Huntsville; four sisters, Lula Mae Ryan and Christine Pike McRight, both of Decatur, Beulah Lane of Danville and Elsie Wynn of Florida; 10 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Nephews were pallbearers.

Cloyd (C.K.) Campbell
November 6, 1999

Funeral for Cloyd Kyle (C.K.) Campbell, 65, of Decatur was Monday, November 8, at 1:00 p.m. at Priceville Funeral Home with the Revs. Bobby Smith, Marcus Lipscomb and Eric Mattox officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Campbell died Saturday, November 6, 1999, at his residence. He was a native of Lauderdale County and a retired machinist from 3M Company. He was the widower of Gladys Campbell.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Greene Campbell of Decatur; four sons, Anthony Campbell of Midway, Gilbert Vaughn of Tampa, Fla., Bobby Greene of Goodsprings, Tenn., and Randy Greene of Oden Ridge; three daughters, Angela Freeman of Falkville, Frances Parker of Midway and Lenita Bladow of Somerville; one sister, Shirley Reid of Decatur; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joey Johnson, Zane Parker, Johnny Cooper, Ray Cooper, Sonny Johnson and Greg Russell.
