Funeral for Marty Leonard Campbell, 38, of Decatur was Monday, November 8, at 1:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Revs. Mark Owens and Greg Standridge officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Campbell died Saturday, November 6, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Morgan County and a member of Oak Grove Congregational Methodist Church. He was a graduate of East Lawrence High School and an honor graduate of Calhoun Community College.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Holt Campbell of Decatur; two sons, Logan Wade Campbell and Micah Clint Campbell, both of Decatur; one daughter, Taniel Denise Campbell of Florida; his mother, Marie Owens Campbell of Decatur; his grandfather, James (Ed) Owens of Trinity; and his step-grandmother, Nan Campbell of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were Steve Owens, Roger Owens, Jeff Standridge, the Rev. Kermit Owens, Clellie Owens and Jerald Owens.
Horace Clifton Tucker

Funeral for Horace Clifton Tucker, 78, of Moulton was Sunday, November 7, at 12:30 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Revs. Oscar Gray and Howell Eddy officiating.
Burial was in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Tucker died Thursday, November 4, 1999, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was a native of Lawrence County, a retired farmer and a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Ommie Tucker of Moulton; three sons, Levi Tucker of Hartselle, Leland Tucker of Danville and Harold Knighten of Moulton; three brothers, Reno Tucker and John Tucker, both of Moulton, and R.V. Tucker of Kalamazoo, Mich.; two sisters, Ozema Crow of Trinity and Maggie Sue Haynes of Kalamazoo; and four grandchildren.
Nephews were pallbearers.

Funeral for J.P. Atchley, 87, of Lacey's Spring was Saturday, November 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Twickenham Funeral Home Chapel with James Bridges officiating.
Burial was in Pine Grove Holiness Church Cemetery.
Mr. Atchley died Friday, November 5, 1999, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was a native of Alabama and retired from Cook's Pest Control after 12 years of service.
He is survived by six sons, G.W. Atchley, Billy Atchley, Charles Atchley and Bobby Atchley, all of Lacey's Spring, Jerry Atchley of Valhermoso Springs and Paul Atchley of Madison; two brothers, George Atchley of Gurley and L.D. Atchley of Rome, Ga.; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.

Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Reed died Thursday, November 4, 1999, at her residence. She was a native of Morgan County and the mother of the late Jimmy Dwain Hitt.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Reed of Belfast; four sons, Harvey Lee Hitt of Hartselle, Jeffrey Ken Hitt of Nashville, Tenn., Jackie Lee Hitt of Priceville and Anthony Scott Hitt of Murphreesboro, Tenn.; one daughter, Shelia Diann Hammon of Decatur; one stepson, Jeffrey Stephen Reed of Philadelphia; two stepdaughters, Vickie Marlene Reed of Red Lion, Pa. and Lorie Seamons of Decatur; three brothers, Jackie Cole, Dwain Cole and James Cole, all of Decatur; two sisters, Virginia Holbert and Nettie Cole, both of Decatur; 19 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Jackie Dwain Cole, Jimmy Doil Hitt, Harvey Lee Hitt, III, Mickey Burns, Gene Beasley, Ricky Aycock and Jim Davis.
Wilma Roper

Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Roper died Monday, November 8, 1999, at Huntsville Hospital. She was a native of Limestone County and attended Sunrise Church in Trinity.
She is survived by two sons, Eugene Roper of Hartselle and Donnie Roper of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Gladys Vandiver and Betty Green, both of Decatur; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Nephews were pallbearers.

Military funeral services for James Bryant (J.B.) Richards, 47, of Decatur were Wednesday, November 10, at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Mark Posey and Barry Binion officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Richards died Sunday, November 7, 1999, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. He was a native of Fort Worth, Tex., and a member of Austinville Church of Christ. He was a pipe welder and a member of Steamfitters Local No. 760. He also was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and the brother of the late Travis Mitchell Richards and David Richards.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Richards of Decatur; three sons, Micah Richards of Hartselle, and Adam Richards and Lucas Richards, both of Decatur; one stepson, Aaron Clarke of Decatur; one stepdaughter, Jaimee Clarke of Decatur; his parents, H.B. and Helen Richards of Hardy, Ark.; two sisters, Susan Langley of Corinth, Miss., and Lori Richards of Hardy; and one grandchild.
Military personnel were pallbearers.

Mr. Nelson died Sunday, November 7, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Lawrence County and the father of the late Brenda Faye Nelson and the brother of the late Odis Nelson and Lovis Nelson.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Nelson of Nebraska and Rodger Nelson of Arizona; two daughters, Linda Faye Noble of Texas and Ann Marie Clark of Arizona; two brothers, Edward Nelson and Bobby Ray Ayers, both of Houston; one sister, Faye Key of Danville; 12 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be friends and relatives.
