Mrs. Collier died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born July 23, 1922, in Morgan County to William and Mildred Blackebey Pence. She was a homemaker and a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She was the sister of the late Ralph Pence, Jack "Don" Pence and Laurette Cory.
She is survived by her husband, Frank C. Collier; two sons, Tommy Collier and Jerry Collier, both of Priceville; two sisters, Lynda Grant of Decatur and Billie Canon of Memphis; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Cooper died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. He was born June 19, 1926, in Lyman, Okla., to James Ernest Cooper and Nora Lee Cooper. He retired from the ballistic missile system command at Redstone Arsenal, was a former Pentecostal Holiness minister and was a disabled Air Force veteran, who earned the Victory Medal during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Opal Irene Cooper; one son, Jackie R. Cooper Jr. of Decatur; one daughter, Linda Kay Depreast of Hartselle; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Cox died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Feb. 6, 1926, in Athens to Charley and Floy Garner Cox. He was retired from the Lurleen B. Wallace Developmental Center.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie Cox; one daughter, Vickie Massey of Decatur; one brother, Phillip Cox of Florida; and one sister, Ada Van Patton of Athens.

James of Athens; two sisters, Carly James and Sydney James, both of Athens; his grandparents, Dan and Sherry Mitchell of Athens, and James and Doris Craig of Tanner; and his great-grandmothers, Leota Mitchell of Elkmont, Beedie Craig of Athens and Mae Sharp of Tanner.

Mr. Dobbs died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at home. He was born March 31, 1913, in Texas. He was a retired mechanic and construction worker.
He is survived by one son, Joel Vaughan Dobbs of Moody; one daughter, Dianna Dobbs Deavers of Birmingham; one brother, H.L. Dobbs of Hartselle; three sisters, Willie Faye Hopper and Vivian Hopper, both of Hartselle, and Georgia Montgomery of Hazel Green ; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel Freels; three daughters, Margaret Marie Wiley of Garden City, Mich., Marion V. Tait of Ocala, Fla., and Sarah Frances Ebekline of Ecorse, Mich.; one sister, Mildred Arban of Knoxville; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Hurt; one son, Thomas Hurt of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Jenny Chaparun of Decatur; his father, Philip E. Hurt of Charleston, S.C.; and two brothers, Jeffery Hurt of Moncks Corner, S.C., and Thomas M. Hurt of Colorado.
