Funeral for Mildred Christine Cherry Truss, 62, of Hartselle was Monday, February 7, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Kyker officiating.
Burial was in Russell Cemetery,
Mrs. Truss died Friday, February 4, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of Jefferson County and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was the mother of the late Joseph Clayton Truss and sister of the late Virgil Cherry and Louise Mizzell.
She is survived by five sons, Victory Roy Truss of Malakoff, Tex., Randy Roy Truss and Linnie MacArthur Truss, both of Somerville, Richard Earl Truss of Hartselle and John Jerdan Truss of Huntsville; two brothers, Bobby Cherry of Malakoff and Ronnie Cherry of Sylacauga; one sister, Jean Boozer of Ashland, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Victor Roy Truss, Randy Roy Truss, Linnie MacArthur Truss, Richard Earl Truss, John Jerdan Truss and Jody Brookshire.
Elmer Bodley

Funeral for Elmer Bodley, 77, of Hartselle was Wednesday, February 9, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Weaver officiating.
Burial was in Salem Cemetery.
Mr. Bodley died Monday, February 7, 2000, at his residence. He was a native of Morgan County and retired from Wolverine Tube as a casting and drawing operator.
He is survived by one son, Charles Ray Bodley of Hartselle; one daughter, Linda Bodley of Hartselle; one sister, Lorene Moore of Hartselle; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Charles Anders, Leon Anders, Luther Anders, Bobby Bodley, Billy Bodley and Rickey Joe Smith.
Dee L. (Pee Wee) Lindsey

Funeral for Dee L. (Pee Wee) Lindsey, 66, of Moulton was Friday, February 4, at 2:00 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Huey officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Lindsey died Wednesday, February 2, 2000, at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence, County, a farmer and a member of Enon Baptist Church in Danville. He was retired from 3M Co. after 30 years as a chemical operator.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lindsey of Moulton; four sons, Wayne Lindsey and Jimmy Lindsey, both of Danville, Mike Lindsey of Hartselle and Ronnie Lindsey of Moulton; two daughters; Annette Riggs of Hartselle and Pay Payne of Moulton; 11 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Richard Riggs, Chris Lindsey, Todd Payne, Matthew Steadman, Archie Fields and Bill Hearod.
Friends from Five Points Store were honorary pallbearers.

Funeral for J.D. Hamilton, 70, of Somerville was Tuesday, February 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Priceville Funeral Home with the Rev. Lester Alexander officiating.
Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
Mr. Hamilton died Saturday, February 5, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital in Decatur. He was a native of Morgan County and a retired auto mechanic.
He is survived by five sons, James Hamilton of Decatur, Jeston Hamilton of Hartselle and Johnny Hamilton, Harris Hamilton and Jerry Hamilton, all of Somerville two daughters, Kathie Lambert of Hartselle and Regina Chandler of Decatur; one brother, Richard Hamilton of Decatur; two sisters, Euva King of Muscle Shoals and Mamie Cloer of Indianapolis, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Terry Lambert, Eric Tucker, Brian Hamilton, Tim Gailey, Johnny Maxwell and Anthony Maxwell.

A graveside service for infant Caitlin Jo McKenzy Buchanan of Lacey's Spring was Saturday, February 5, at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville with the Rev. Todd Evans officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
The infant died Tuesday, February 1, 2000, the day of her birth.
She is survived by her parents, Kavin Buchanan and Cloudy Walton, both of Lacey's Spring; and her grandparents, Martha Jo and James Buchanan of Lacey's Spring and Rusty and Chris Hightower of Hartselle.

Mrs. McDonald died Wednesday, January 19, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of Virginia, a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a retired secretary.
She is survived by one son, Bobby McDonald of Jackson, Tenn.; two daughters, Becki McGuyre of Danville and Debbie Gulledge of Birmingham; two brothers, Billy Deadrick of Navarre, Fla., and Jimmy Deadrick of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two sisters, Hope Farr and Ann Baker, both of Waynesboro, Va.; and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Austin died Saturday, February 5, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of Morgan County and a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. She was a retired licensed practical nurse and the sister of the late Fred Horn and Jerry Horn.
She is survived by her husband, William T. (Bill) Austin of Decatur; four sons, Steve Ward and Tim William Austin, both of Decatur, William Stanley Austin of Somerville and Rusty Austin of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Carol Jean Austin Montgomery of Decatur and Mary Austin White of Fort Payne; 18 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
