Funeral for Martha Gail Reno Little, 68, of Cullman was Saturday, June 13, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Judy Lyles officiating.
Burial was in Union Hill Cemetery in Eva.
Mrs. Little died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at Woodland Village Health Care in Cullman. She was born April 3, 1941, in Jefferson County to Susan Christine Prince Reno and Lon Dean Reno. She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by a son, Jason K. Little of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Shawnelle Little of Falkville; two brothers, Jim Reno of Decatur and Johnny Reno of Peoria, Ill.; a sister, Mary Nell Ball of Pekin, Ill.; her mother, Susan Christine Prince Reno; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Marcus Dimert, Tracy Ball, Jason Little, Jay Thompson, Jeff Franklin and Mike Reno.

Grace Taylor
June 13, 2009
Funeral for Grace Taylor, 101, of Hartselle was Sunday, June 14 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funral Home Chapel with Bros. Tom Campbell and Wendell Callahan officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor died Saturday, June 13, 2009, at River City Healthcare in Decatur. She was born August 8, 1907, in Lawrence County to Tucker Wallace and Etta Roberts Wallace. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew W. Taylor Sr.; three brothers, Freeman Wallace, Pervin Wallace and Addie Wallace; and four sisters, Mattie Sims, Jessie Lemmond, Lizzie Wallace and Etta Mae Bates. She was the oldest member of Shady Grove Baptist Church of Neel.
She is survived by a son, Andrew W. Taylor Jr. and wife Helen of Hartselle; three grandson, Gary Taylor and wife Linda, Greg Taylor and wife Kathy and Gerald Taylor and girlfriend Brandy Layhew; two great-grandchildren, Lindsey Greenhaw and husband J.B. and Laney Peebles and husband Anthony; two great-great-grandchildren, Braylin and Zachery Greenhaw; and two step-great-grandchildren, Kris Lyle and Kayla Layhew.
Pallbearers were Sonny Bates, Larry Bates, Tommy Wallace, Kris Lyle, J.B. Greenhaw, Anthony Peebles and Joey Logan.

Azzlee Runge Eargle
June 12, 2009
Funeral for Azzlee Runge Eargle, 88, of Falkville was Sunday, June 14, at 2 p.m. at the Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Laverie Buckelew and Kenneth Reeves officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Eargle died Friday, June 12, 2009, at her residence. She was born May 22, 1921, in Cullman County to Charner and Minnie Bell Runge. She was a homemaker and devoted mother and mamaw. She was a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Avery Eargle Sr.; a daughter, Guenell Livingston; a granddaughter, Debra Reeves; five brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by three sons, Basil Eargle and wife Pearlena, Mike Eargle and wife Ramona and Jeffery Eargle, all of Falkville; three daughters, Dean Morgan and husband Ed of Falkville, Beverly Bates and husband Danny of Hartselle and Lynette Graham and husband Jerry of Vinemont; a brother, Durall Runge of Falkville; a sister, Beulah Prothro of Falkville; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Danny Bates, Jimmy Kennedy, Ronnie Ryan, Dion Speegle, Scott Sanders and Charlie Morgan.

Charles Herbert Sanford Jr.
June 9, 2009
A memorial visitation for Charles Herbert Sanford Jr., 61, of Danville was Sunday, June 14, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Sanford died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born July 27, 1947, in Tuscaloosa County to Charles Herbert Sanford Sr. and May Evelyn Whitson Sanford.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Welch Sanford of Danville; two sons, Bryan Sanford of Hartselle and Isaac Sanford of Trinity; a daughter, Erika Turner of Hillsboro; a brother, Joseph Sanford of Huntsville; two sisters, Lynn Strickland of Tennessee and Cheryl Black of Texas.; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

S/Sgt. Jeffrey A. Hall
June 1, 2009
Funeral for S/Sgt. Jeffrey A. Hall, 28, was Tuesday, June 8, at 11 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home Chapel in Huntsville.
Burial with full military honors was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
The Army Ranger was killed June 1 when an improvised explosive device exploded next to his vehicle in the Nerkh district of Afghanistan.
Hall was a native and resident of Huntsville until his enlistment in the U.S. Army in 2000. He attended Grace Lutheran School, Grissom High School and Huntsville Christian Academy. Some of his achievements in the Army included Airborne, Ranger and Jumpmaster training. He served with the 5th Ranger Training Battalion at Camp Merrill, Ga. and was serving with the 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y. at the time of his death.
He was decorated with two Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, Ranger Tab, Combat Infantryman Badge, Parachutist and Senior Parachutist Badges, and numerous Foreign Campaign Medals. He was also awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star, posthumously.
He is survived by his wife, Allison Hall, one-year-old daughter, Audrey Faith Hall; his parents, Charles and Annette Hall; a sister, Emily Pruitt and husband Josh, all of Hartselle. Other survivors include his “Pal”, Charles Baites Jr., of Toney; six uncles, Bill Cox, Fred Hall and Winston Hall, all of Huntsville, Bailey Hall of Toney, Eddie Hall of Kelso, Tenn. and Mike Cox of Knoxville, Tenn.; an aunt, Anna Hall of Good Hope; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kerry and Allan Ramorini of Angels Camp, Calif; and special friends, Brian McIntosh and Mark Sturges.
A memorial fund has been established for Hall’s wife and daughter. Those wishing to contribute may do so at Redstone Federal Credit Union to the fund entitled “SSG Jeffrey Alan Hall Memorial Fund.”

Timothy Eugene Ikner
June 2, 2009
A graveside service for Timothy Eugene Ikner, 34, of Hartselle, was Thursday, June 4, at 11 a.m. at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Miller officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Ikner died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at his residence. He was born October 30, 1974, in Morgan County. He was a 1993 graduate of Hartselle High School. He attended Wallace State for two years and then transferred to Calhoun Community College where he earned his Registered Nursing Degree. He was a Phi Theta Kappa, was selected the 35th Most Outstanding Student in Anatomy & Physiology and was named third runner-up for “Mr. Calhoun” in 2005-2006. He was a true friend to the Auburn Tigers, they were his team. Win or lose, it was always “War Eagle.” He had been a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church since the age of five. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Eugene Ikner.
He is survived by his parents, Eugene and Freda Ikner of Hartselle; and four sisters, Nancy Ikner and husband Bobby of Priceville, Brenda Ikner Hall and husband Preston Jr and Amy Ikner Hatfield, all of Hartselle and Clarise Ikner Byers and husband Butch of Moulton.
Pallbearers were Brandon Chaney, Nicholas Chaney, Zac Hatfield, Cody Hatfield, Jeff Harden and Derek Parker.

Doris Lee Rowe Seip
June 3, 2009
Funeral for Doris Lee Rowe Seip, 81, of Miami, Fla., formerly of Falkville, was Monday, June 8, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Ray Halbrooks officiating.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Seip died Wednesday, June 3, 2009, in Miami, Fla., surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with colon cancer. She was born August 29, 1927, in Falkville to Powell C. Rowe and Brenda Smith Rowe. She had a smile of sunshine and her gentle and caring spirit brought joy to all. She was always thinking of others. It was not uncommon for her to whip up her famous oatmeal raisin cookies or a variety of other baked goods. A lover of animals, she lived with her cats and a Rottweiler, “Molly”.
She cherished her time with her grandchildren, Angelika and James Bartek. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Seip; and two brothers, John Rowe and Max Rowe.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Cindy Seip and husband Albert of Miami; a sister, Jean Tankersley of Hartselle; and many cousins and friends.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
To honor her passing, contributions may be made to Gulfstream Guardian Angels Rottweiler Rescue (GGARR) 2950 SW 103 Ave., Miami, Florida 33165.
