Funeral for Junior William Walker, 69, of Vinemont was Thursday, January 27, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Congregational Methodist Church with the Revs. Vernon Willis, Glen McCain and Hollis Rutherford officiating.
Burial was in Corinth West Cemetery with Cullman Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Walker died Tuesday, January 25, 2000, at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham. He was a native of Cullman County and a member of Mt. Vernon Congregational Methodist Church. He was maintenance supervisor at Hobart, Inc. a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Cullman County Cattlemen's Association.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Louse Hill Walker of Vinemont; one daughter, Susan Denise Walker of Vinemont; two brothers, Jerome Walker of Vinemont and Jerry Walker of Moulton; one sister, Reba Willingham of Vinemont; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mike Hill, Tim Walker, David Shedd, Danny Horton, Greg Rodgers and Mike Mann.
Dissie L. Cobb

Funeral for Dissie L. Cobb, 85, of Decatur was Sunday, January 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Graham officiating.
Burial was in Falkville Cemetery.
Mrs. Cobb died Wednesday, January 26, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was a native of Morgan County and retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., after 30 years. She was the widow of Elbert Cobb and the mother of the late Genie Cobb.
She is survived by one sister, Reba Ozbolt of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Ronald Ozbolt, Robert Ozbolt, Ronald D. Ozbolt, Michael Ozbolt, Bobby Ozbolt and Allen Teague.
Bretha Echols Hawkins

A graveside service for Bretha Echols Hawkins, 81, of Decatur was Monday, January 31, at 1:00 p.m, at Valhermoso Springs Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Hawkins died Saturday, January 29, 2000, at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville. She was a native of Morgan County and a member of First Christian Church. She was the widow of Ben R. Hawkins.
She is survived by two nieces, Hazel G. Carter of Section and Neli M. Gilchrist of Pleasant Grove.
Emenola Earwood

Funeral for Emenola Earwood, 73, of Hartselle was Monday, January 24, at 2:00 p.m. at Hebron Church of Christ in Arab with Bro. George Marshall officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Gober Funeral Home directing.
Miss Earwood died Friday, January 21, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of Cullman County and a member of Beltline Church of Christ in Decatur. She resided in Hartselle for 27 years and was the sister of the late Windham Earwood.
She is survived by three brothers, Jack Earwood of Eva, Hugo Earwood of Baileyton and Thomas Lee Earwood of Somerville; and four sisters, Marian Miner of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Judy Gibbs of Cullman, Martha Baggett of Hartselle and Gracie Stroht of Terre Haute, Ind.
Pallbearers were Eric Earwood, Chris Gibbs, Ricky Earwood, Bobby Earwood, Alan Baggett and Brant Earwood.
Honorary pallbearers were Clayton Earwood, Derrick Earwood, Jonathan Earwood, Tim Earwood and Tony Gibbs.
Ottis M. Turrentine

Funeral for Ottis M. Turrentine, 61, of Hartselle was Wednesday, January 26, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Orville Collins and Walter Blackman officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mr. Turrentine died Sunday, January 23, at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Lawrence County and a plumber.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle Holmes Turrentine of Hartselle; two sons, Patrick W. Turrentine of Monrovia and Shannon B. Turrentine of Hartselle; two sisters, Myrtis Jones of Moulton and Jewel Boston of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Bob Ramey, Greg Bodley, Jeff Huggins, Larry Doyle, Lance Sandlin, Gary Dye, Kevin Howard and Randy Powell.
Gloria Ann Allen

A graveside service for Gloria Ann Allen, 60, of Falkville was Saturday, January 22, at Freedom Holy Temple Cemetery in Hohenwald, Tenn.
Mrs. Allen died Wednesday, January 19, 2000. She was a former resident of Hohenwald.
She is survived by one son, Richard Allen of Falkville; and one daughter, Barbara Rohde of Falkville.
Truman Edward Eddy

Funeral for Truman Edward Eddy, 80, of Decatur was Saturday, Jan. 25, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Revs. Homer Jones and Robert Watwood officiating.
Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery at Falkville.
Mr. Eddy died Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation. He was a member of Mount Olive Holy Church of Christ and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was the brother of the late Buford Eddy.
He is survived by his wife, Evelee Eddy of Decatur; two sons, Ricky Eddy of Decatur and Jimmy Eddy of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one daughter, Brenda Best of Decatur; three brothers, Dillard Eddy of Albertville, Refford Eddy of Cullman and Billy Ray Eddy of Hartselle; two sisters, Hazel Chriss of Dallas, Tex. and Charlotte Hamilton of Hartselle; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Randy Eddy, Richard Eddy, Todd Best, Jamie Fairbanks, Richard Hamilton and Donnie Morgan.
