Frances Eaves Price
January 23, 2000

Funeral for Frances Eaves Price, 89, of Decatur was Tuesday, January 25, at 11:00 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Mark Tolbert officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Price died Sunday, January 23, 2000, at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville. She was a native of Morgan County and a member of Central Baptist Church, where she was secretary in the 1950s and 1960s. She was a former member of Central Garden Club and the widow of Frank H. Price, Sr.
She is survived by one son, Frank H. Price, Jr., of Somerville; and two grandsons. Pallbearers were Joe Black, Herman Marks, Ken Nelson, Max Patterson, Robert Smith, and Russell Smith. Honorary pallbearers were deacons of Central Baptist Church.

Lester Franklin Johnson
January 24, 2000

Funeral for Lester Franklin Johnson, 70, of Vinemont was Wednesday, January 26, at 2:00 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Nail officiating.
Burial was in Friendship Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson died Monday, January 24, 2000, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Morgan County and a carpenter. He was preceded in death by a brother, Troy Johnson and a sister, Lorene Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Lou Johnson of Vinemont; two daughters, Theresa Ray and Donna Johnson, both of Vinemont; two sisters, Quincis Higdon of Cullman and Hester Parker of Somerville; and two grandchildren.

Clara McClellan Kilpatrick
January 19, 2000

Funeral for Clara McClellan Kilpatrick, 90, of Vinemont was Friday, January 21, at 2:00 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with the Revs. Roland Westmoreland and Tim Aris officiating.
Burial was in Corinth West Cemetery.
Mrs. Kilpatrick died Wednesday, January 19, 2000, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Morgan County and the mother of the late James Kilpatrick and Claudie Lee Kilpatrick and the sister of the late Jack McClellan, Leroy McClellan, Charles McClellan, Millie Laney and Vesta Blankenship.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Felton Kilpatrick of Vinemont; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Geneva B. Miller
January 20, 2000

Funeral for Geneva B. Miller, 74, of Lacey's Spring was Saturday, January 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Twickenham-South Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev. Jimmy Morrow officiating.
Burial was in Lipscomb Cemetery.
Mrs. Miller died Thursday, January 20, 2000, at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville. She was a native of Morgan County and the mother of the late Ronald Miller.
She is survived by four sons, Dewey Miller of Somerville and Robert Miller, Leon Miller and Jerry Miller, all of Lacey's Spring; six daughters, Margie Dean, Shirley Dant and Sharon Hinds, all of Huntsville, and Wanda Clark, Lisa D. Miller and Patricia Dadfar, all of Lacey's Spring; one brother, James Gullion of Lacey's Spring; four sisters, Eleanor South of Gurley, Margaret Dudley of Owens Crossroads, and Ruby Garrison and Beatrice Bolden, both of Lacey's Spring; 21 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Mary Ellen Bolton
January 21, 2000

Funeral for Mary Ellen Bolton, 83, of Trinity was Sunday, January 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Caudle officiating.
Burial was in Grange Hall Cemetery.
Mrs. Bolton died Friday, January 21, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of Morgan County and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Trinity.
She is survived by four sons, Thomas Carey Bolton, Foster Avery Bolton, Kenneth Ray Bolton and Jerry Steven Bolton, all of Trinity; one brother, H.M. Russell of Decatur; two sisters, Virgina Terry of Pulaski, Tenn. And Betty Whisenant of Decatur; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were T.K. Bolton, Brett Bolton, Sean Bolton, Kenny Bolton, Kenny Bolton, Jeff Bolton and Chris Bolton.
Great grandchildren were honorary pallbearers.

Evelyn Bussey Altice
January 20, 2000

A graveside service for Evelyn Bussey Altice, of Eva was Saturday, January 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Chattanooga with the Rev. Joel Wood officiating and Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel directing.
Mrs. Altice died Thursday, January 20, 2000, in Eva, where she had lived for the past five years. She was a native of Virginia and a member of Hixson First Baptist Church. She was the widow of Mitchell B. Altice.
She is survived by two sons, Mitchell (Mike) Altice of Wilmington, N.C., and Dennis Altice of Decatur; five grandsons; and one great grandson.

Stevie Shelton, Jr.
January 22, 2000

Funeral for Stevie Shelton, Jr., 53, of Double Springs was Tuesday, January 25, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Bumgart officiating.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mr. Shelton died Saturday, January 22, 2000, at Carraway Burdick West Medical Center in Birmingham. He was a native of Morgan County and a construction worker.
He is survived by one son, John Albert Ward of Athens; one daughter, Shelly Jane Cox of Arab; his father and stepmother, John Steve, Sr., and Patsy Campbell Shelton of Falkville; one sister, Melinda Bailey of Houston; three step-brothers, James Sanders of Crossville, Tenn., Paul Sanders of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Cliff Sanders of Frostia, Ohio; two step-sisters, Mary Jones of Falkville and Nanette Bonneville of Dothan; and five grandchildren.
Pallbrearers were Cliff Sanders, Jeff Gray, Max Gray, Tim Gray, Jimmy Gray and James Lewis Gray.
