Funeral for Jimmy Lyle Barnett, 58, of Lexington, Tenn., formerly of Morgan County, was Wednesday, April 26, at 3:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Melvin Brown officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery near Somerville.
Mr. Barnett died Monday, April 24, 2000, at Jackson General Hospital. He was a native of Morgan County and a self-employed mechanic and equipment operator.
He is survived by two sons, Darren Barnett and Roger Barnett, both of Papa, Mich.; one daughter, Janet Barnett of Papa, Mich.; seven brothers, William Barnett and Rayburn Barnett, both of Somerville, James Barnett, David Barnett and Rebe Barnett, all of Hartselle, and Earl Barnett and Zack Barnett, Jr., both of Lacey's Spring; five sisters, Temple Collin of Decatur, Ruth Blocker and Ann Barnett, both of Arab, Helen Bailey of Hartselle and Lucille Brown of Somerville; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Billy Barnett, Eddie Barnett, Joey Barnett, Phillip Barnett, Terry Barnett, William B. Barnett, Cecil Blocker and Kelvin Brown.
Roger W. Tetzlaff

Funeral for Roger W. Tetzlaff, 68, of Vero Beach, Fla., formerly of Somerville, was Saturday, April 22, at 11:00 p.m. at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Reinhardt officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Tetzlaff died Monday, April 17, 2000, at Indian River Memorial Hospital in Vero Beach. He was a native of Insterburg, Prussia and a resident of the U.S. since 1952. He was owner and manager of Florida Imprint Systems, Inc., of Vero Beach and the widower of Eugenia Tetzlaff.
He is survived by one son, Robert A. Tetzlaff of Somerville; one daughter, Helga Thompson of Vero Beach; two brothers, Manfred Tetzlaff of Vero Beach and Wolfram Scharbau of Germany; one sister Helga Scharbau of Germany; and five grandchildren.
Reuben Lewis Sims

Funeral for Reuben Lewis Sims, 75, of Hartselle was Wednesday, April 19, at 11:00 a.m. at West Hartselle Baptist Church with the Revs. Jack Redfern and Ron Wilson officiating.
A military graveside service followed at Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Sims died Monday, April 17, 2000, at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham. He was a native of Morgan County, a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church and a charter member of Hartselle Gideons Camp. He was a retired logistics specialist for the U.S. Army Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville and was a disabled veteran of World War II. He served in the 71st Infantry Division and in Patton's 3rd Army Europe and was a logistics advisor during the Vietnam War.
He was involved with youth baseball in Hartselle for 48 years and served on the Hartselle Parks and Recreation Board for nine years, during which time Sparkman Civic Center was built. He was a graduate of Morgan County High School and attended Athens State Teachers College. He was the brother of the late Eric Sims, Pynion Sims, John V. Sims and Wallace A. Sims.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Inez Anders Sims of Hartselle; two sons, Edward L. Sims of Decatur and Jerry Don Sims of Hartselle; one daughter, Sarah Beth Sims Bell of Hartselle; one sister, Adell Sims White of Hartselle; six grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
Pallbearers were William L. Sims, Sarah Katherine Greenwell, Sarah April Bolan, Robert L. Sims, Adam C. Bolan and Jacob E. Bell.
Honorary pallbearers were Disabled American veterans and members of John F. Thompson American Legion Post 52.
Jane Cobb Dutton

Funeral for Jane Cobb Dutton, 79, of Hartselle was Tuesday, April 18, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Smith officiating.
Burial was in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Dutton died Monday, April 17, 2000, at her residence She was a native of Morgan County and a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church.
She was the widow of R.C. Dutton and the mother of the late David E. Dutton.
She is survived by two sons, George R. Dutton of Hartselle and Kenneth R. Dutton of Decatur; three daughters, Margaret D. Cook and Karen D. Wells, both of Hartselle, and Carolyn D. Tapscott of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Larry Dutton, Jerry Dutton, Mark Cook, Shane Dutton, Jeff Dutton, Joey Jenkins, Gut Cook, III, Ryan Dutton, Chuck Keenum and Rickey Denson.
Geneva Poole Hudgins

Funeral for Geneva Poole Hudgins, 86, of Hartselle was Friday, April 14, at 3:00 p.m. at Cedar Creek Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Miller and Wayne Vincent officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Hudgins died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was a native of Tennessee and a member of Cedar Creek Freewill Baptist Church. She was the widow of Homer Foote and the mother of the late Howard Foote.
She is survived by three sons, Willie B. Foote of Hartselle, Richard Foote of Moulton and Jerry Foote of Decatur; seven daughters, Lillie Goad, Alenda Sims, Debbie Miller and Frances Shaneyfelt, all of Hartselle, Helen Johnson of Falkville, Faye Richards of Decatur and Peggy Harvel of Sylacauga; one brother, Leon Hardy of Michigan; three sisters, Sue Yearington, Marilyn Baker and Linda Bertog, all of Michigan; 27 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
Grandsons were pallbearers.
Scyrea Price Fuller Moore

Funeral for Scyrea Price Fuller Moore, 69, of Hartselle was Sunday, April 9, at 3:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Nix officiating.
Burial was in Dancy Chapel Cemetery in Lawrence County.
Mrs. Moore died Thursday, April 6, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. She was a native of Morgan County and a seamstress at The Something Blue Shoppe in Hartselle. She was the widow of the late James Everett Fuller.
She is survived by her husband, Olen S. Moore, Jr., of Hartselle; one son, Clint Moore of Hartselle; two daughters, Jennie Denney and Nan Walden, both of Trinity; one sister, Melba Maner of Decatur; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Grandsons and nephews were pallbearers.
