Funeral for Everett W. Aday, 86, of Eva was Friday, March 31, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Hanvey officiating.
Burial was in Oden Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Aday died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, at his residence. He was a native of Morgan County and a member of Oden Ridge Baptist Church. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Carpenters Local 1274 for over 45 years. He was a member of Oden Ridge Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years and served as treasurer from 1975 to 1996. He was one of the original board members of the Morgan County Association of Volunteer Firemen. The Oden Ridge Community Center is named in his honor.
He is survived by his wife, Edith E. Aday of Eva; one daughter, Brynda Aday Tylo of Eva; and two sisters, Murfean Aday Shelton of Eva and Rosa Aday West of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were Frankie Brindley, Sanford Morgan, D.H. Oden, Willard Oden, Ray Pace and Ray Stinson.

Funeral for Euna Hancock Chatham, 90, of Decatur was Thursday, March 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Manly officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Chatham died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Cullman Country and a member of Southwest Baptist Church. She was the widow of Dewey Irving Chatham.
He is survived by one son, Larry Chatham of Hartselle; three daughters, Myra Carden of Gardendale, Doris Cavnar of Decatur and Janice Chatham Brackin of Cullman; one brother, J.A. (Buster) Hancock of Cullman; two sisters, Irene Swanson of Gardendale and Lila Trimble of Brewton; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
David Gene Scruggs

Funeral for David Gene Scruggs, 42, of Decatur was Tuesday, April 4, at 11:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby South officiating.
Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Mr. Scruggs died Friday, March 31, 2000, at Gulf Breeze Hospital in Gulf Shores. He was a native of Montgomery County and a member of Priceville Church of Christ. He was a dental technician and owner of A.B.C. dental Lab.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Garrison Scruggs of Decatur; one son, Spencer Devane Scruggs of Priceville; one daughter, Whitley Elizabeth Scruggs of Priceville; his parents, Herman and Emma Scruggs of Navarre, Fla.; two brothers, Scott Scruggs of Tupelo, Miss., and Steve Scruggs of Cullman; and two sisters, Janet Wilson of Atlanta, Ga. and Tammy Scruggs of Navarre, Fla.
Pallbearers were Jamie Hodges, Eddie Tapscott, Don Barthel, Steve Bateman, Kevin Swindel and Joe Garrison.
Charles Ray Fuller

Funeral for Charles Ray Fuller, 65, of Decatur was Tuesday, April 4, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery near Arley in Winston County.
Mr. Fuller died Monday, April 3, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Winston County and an insurance agent with Liberty National Life Insurance Co.
He is survived by one son, Chuck Fuller of Decatur; two daughters, Charlotte Nichols of Decatur and Lynne Pearson of Trinity; his mother, Irene Fuller of Arley; two brothers, Billy Jack Fuller of Cullman and Kenneth Fuller of Arley; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were E.C. Austin, Jr., J.D. Dickerson, Anthony Key, Edsel Martin and Gene Phillips.
Albert (Buddy) Bentley

Funeral for Albert (Buddy) Bentley, 72, of Decatur was Monday, April 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Grant officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bentley died Saturday, April 1, 2000, at Baptist Medical Center-Montclair in Birmingham. Her was a retired branch manager for Flav-O-Rich Dairy and a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a handicap bus driver for Decatur City Schools.
Her is survived by his wife, Freda Robinson Bentley of Decatur; one son, Ricky Bentley of Huntsville; two daughters, Anita Gibson of Somerville and Donna Schrimsher of Decatur; two sisters, Nadine Dunaway and Gladys Drake, both of Decatur; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Hershel Sanders, Jackie Bentley, Jimmy Bentley, Jerry Woodall, Bill Woodall, Herman Mark, Sr., Frank Little and Johnny Smith.
Shirley Crow Parham

Burial was in Bald Knob Cemetery.
Ms. Parham died Wednesday, March 29, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of Morgan County and a volunteer worker at Grace Baptist Church. She was the sister of the late Cora Mae Stewart.
She is survived by three daughters, Susan Mason of Somerville, Judy Brothers of Huntsville and Betty Knox of Columbia, Tenn.; one brother, Ray Crow of Decatur; two sisters, Ann Rinnai and Barbara Burns, both of Decatur; nine grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Michael Stewart, Steven Smart, Jamie Smart, Jeff Stewart, Tim Wilks and Greg Barber.

Mr. Smith died Friday, March 31, 2000, at Huntsville Hospital. He was a native of Limestone County and a member of First General Baptist Church in Auburn Heights, Mich. He was a retired General Motors employee.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Smith of Moulton; one daughter, Donna Ihrke of Hartselle; two brothers, Wilmer Smith, Jr., of Moulton and Larry Smith of Trinity; and two sisters, Willie Shelton of Danville and Shirley Jenkins of Hartselle.
Nephews were pallbearers.
