Burial was in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Hall died Monday, March 27, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center Hospital. He was a native of Cullman County and a member of Austinville Church of Christ. He was retired from Wolverine Tube and preceded in death by a brother, Robert M. Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Hall of Decatur; one daughter, Linda Bibb of Hartselle; one brother, Edsel Hall of Cullman; four sisters, Hazel Aldridge and Barbara Sue Lindsey, both of Decatur, Imagene Hinel of Cullman and Betty Dunn of Tuscaloosa; two granddaughters; and one great granddaughter.
Friends were pallbearers.

A memorial service for Joe Von Sas, 68, of Decatur will be Thursday, March 30, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Father Joe Culotta officiating
Mr. Sas died Sunday, March 26, 2000, in Slidell, La. He was a native of Baltimore, Md., and a self-employed engineer with SMR Inc. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Knights of Columbus and attended St. Ann's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Terri Von Sas of Decatur; two sons, Paul Von Sas and Mark Von Sas, both of Maryland; one daughter, Joanne Weatherspoon of Texas; one stepson, Robert Schrimsher of Decatur; one brother, Harry Von Sas of Pennyslvania; two sisters, Cass Sandwick of New Mexico and Gertrude Miller of West Virginia; six grandchildren; and 12 step-grandchildren.

Funeral for Margaret Irene Lake Ratliff, 96, of Wylam was Friday, March 24, at 11:00 a.m. at Angwin Mortuary Center with the Rev. Joe Tully officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery near Danville with the Rev. Jimmy Clark officiating.
Mrs. Ratliff died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, in Jasper. She was a native of Morgan County and a retired seamstress for Bromberg's Department Store. She was a member of Wylam Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Alma Seay Chapter. She was the mother of the late Ewell D. Ratliff.
She is survived by two sons, Grady H. Ratliff of Decatur and Raymond W. Ratliff of Texas; two daughters, Margaret Zannis of Homewood and Melba Caldwell of Jasper; one sister, Nelle Fairer of Hartselle; 15 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Vic Zannis, John Chris Zannis, Jamie Caldwell, Nathan Payne, David Ratliff, Larry Ratliff and Dru Jackson.

Mr. Steele died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur. He was a native of Lacon and a retired brick mason.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Erickson Steele of Moulten; three sons, Scott Steele of Lompoc, Calif., William (Billy) Steele of Hartselle and Larry Burns of Decatur; four daughters, Brenda Dothan, Patty Can and Sandra Slugger of Melrose Park, Ill.; two brothers, Bobby Steele of Cullman and Doug Steele of Decatur; six sisters, Jimmie Golden, Dean Vonsaus and Ruth Teichmiller, all of Cullman, Arveline Bordon and Dean Vonsaus, both of Decatur, and Joann Roman of Virginia; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wesley Dotson, Nick Coan, Jamie Steele, Danny Golden, Chuck Taylor and Kirk Teichmiller.

Mr. Sellers died Thursday, March 23, 2000, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Winston County and a tow motor operator for Grief Bros.
He is survived by three sons, Charles Sellers, Ken Sellers and Darrell Sellers, all of Cullman; three daughters, Pat Floyd of Battleground, Barbara Basinger of Garden City and Darlene Sanders of Good Hope; three brothers, Junior Sellers, Leamon Sellers and Anthony (Tony) Sellers, all of Cullman; four sisters, Lurlene McClellan and Dale Laney, both of Cullman, Geraldene Cyree of Brentwood, Tenn., and Shirley White of Cullman; 13 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Mr. Maples died Saturday, March 25, 2000, at US Medical Center in Mobile. He was a native of Morgan County and a Baptist. He was a mechanic for Foster Tire Company and was preceded in death by a brother, Barney Maples, Jr. and a sister, Jewel Haynes.
He is survived by one stepson, Tossie McDonald of Mobile; four stepdaughters, Barbara Williams, Dale Williams, Willie McClellan and Kim Motes, all of Mobile; two brothers, Bobby Maples of Eva and Wayne Maples of Hartselle; and four sisters, Martha Turney of Falkville and Shirley McCurry, Edna Lawrence and Doris Blankenship, all of Hartselle.

Mrs. Hartselle died Thursday, March 23, 2000, at Largo Medical Center. She was a native of Morgan County and a founding member of Feather Sound Community Church. She was a former resident of Hartselle.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mahlon Hartselle of Largo; one son, Art Hartselle of Largo; two daughters, Dr. Mary Lynne Capilouto of Birmingham and Mimi Steele of Largo; three sisters, Rachel Baker, Wanda Harvel and Lurline Isley, all of Hartselle; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Steele, Mike Praytor, Phil Cork, Fred Smith, Gary Clark and Gary Smith.
