A graveside service for Thelma Yarbrough Fox, 85, of Priceville was Saturday, March 18, at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Gadsden with the Revs. Anthony Copeland and Charles Ervin officiating and Collier-Butler Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Fox died Friday, March 17, 2000, at the home of her sister. She was a native of DeKalb County and resided in Etowah County most of her life, She was a Baptist and resided in Priceville for the past two years. She was the widow of Loren Fox and the mother of the late L.W. Fox.
She is survived by one sister, Eloise Lott of Priceville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Members of Immanuel Baptist Church were pallbearers and members of Hospice of the Valley of Decatur were honorary pallbearers.
Beverly Sue Tanner

Funeral for Beverly Sue Tanner, 50, of Tanner was Sunday, March 19, at 3:30 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Bullard officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Tanner died Thursday, March 16, 2000 at her residence. She was a native of Dayton, Ohio, and a nurse's aide. She was the mother of the late Bill Lawrimore and the late Rufford McIntosh.
She is survived by one daughter, Shannon Styles of Tanner; her mother, Jessie McIntosh of Decatur; three brothers, Randall Blair of River, Ky., Larry Ealy of Hartselle and Steve McIntosh of Decatur; three sisters, Patty McCormick of Kansas City, Kan., Cheryl Snedigar of Tanner and Kathy Cukovechi of Ohio; and two granddaughters.
Pallbearers were Mark Freeman, Jeff Spitlog, Anthony Prince, Sid Fleming, Pat Lee and Nathan Wise.
Mrs. R.V. Bates

Funeral for Mrs. R.V. Bates, 86, of Eva was Sunday, March 19, at 3:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel Baptist Church with the Revs. Wayne Vincent and Albert Estes officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Cullman Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Bates died Friday, March 17, 2000, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Morgan County and preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bates, a son, William C. Bates, and a daughter, Barbara Humphrey.
She is survived by one son, Jackie Bates of Eva; four daughters, Shelba Scott and Gail Hanvey, both of Etha, Dianne Julian of Ryan and Ernestine Harbison of Eva; 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral for Lynda Sue Carr, 47, of Trinity was Wednesday, March 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with Mike Nix, O.D. Bowling and Mike Free officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs.Carr died Monday, March 20, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was a native of Morgan County and a member of Beltline Church of Christ. She was co-owner of Beltline Hose and Rubber Company.
She is survived by her husband, James Carr of Trinity; two sons, Scott Ogles of Moulton and "Lucky" Stewart of Decatur; one stepson, Jimmy B. Carr of Panama City, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Tammy Hartsfield of Crawfordville, Fla., and Staci Carr of Tallahassee, Fla.; two brothers, Doug Free of Trinity and Mark Free of Miami, Fla.; two sisters, Pam Cowart of Hartselle and JoAnn Harris of Trinity; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Lucky Stewart, Scott Ogles, Doug Free, Mark Free, Paul Harris and Jimmy Carr.

Mrs. Perry died Thursday, March 16, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of Morgan County and secretary and co-owner of Forklift Repair Service in Decatur.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Perry of Decatur; two sons, Steve Perry and Mike Perry, both of Decatur; one daughter, Renee Johnson of Killen; two step-daughters, Beverly Dial and Amanda Hagood, both of Decatur; three grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and seven step-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Joe Pirtle, Adley Mason, Anthony Wiley, Danny Girodo, Thomas Brittnell and Bruce Landers.

Pierce of Birmingham; three daughters, Maybelle Armstrong of Eva, and Bertha Armstrong and Margaret Armstrong, both of Fyffe; three brothers, Rufus Green, Winford Green and Orville Green, all of Joppa; one sister, Bernice Talley of Joppa; and two grandchildren
