Funeral for the Rev. Jack Rodgers Freeman, 64, of Athens was Wednesday, March 8, at 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church with the Revs Junior Hill, Mickey Dalyrimple, Joe Hoover, Autry Conn and the Rev. Dr. Mark Tolbert officiating.
Burial was in Decatur City Cemetery with Shelton Funeral Home directing.
Rev. Freeman died Monday, March 6, 2000, at his residence. He was a native of Birmingham and served as a Baptist minister for 40 years. He pastored the following Baptist churches: Hillsboro, Robinwood, Lincoln Memorial, Shady Grove, Shoal Creek and West Highland. He also supplied for a number of churches in Morgan County. He also served in evangelism for five years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Freeman and Roy B. Freeman, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Corum Freeman of Athens; two daughters, Lee Ann Freeman Jennings of Lacey's Spring and Heather Freeman Breedlove of Athens; and one brother, Bob Freeman of Auburn.
Pallbearers were David Marsh and deacons of West Highland Baptist Church.

A graveside services for Lurline Norris Chunn, 86, of Decatur was Tuesday, March 7, at 11:00 a.m. at Pisgah Cemetery with the Rev. James Chitwood officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Chunn died Monday, March 6, 2000, at NHC Healthcare in Moulton. She was a native of Morgan County and a lifelong member of Flint Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Loise Chunn of Decatur; one son, Oscar Chunn of Gadsden; one daughter, Linda Bennich of Decatur; one brother, Jack Norris of Decatur; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren
Hazel Lois George Harvey

A graveside service for Hazel Lois George Harvey, 78, of Decatur will be Thursday, March 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Cecil G. Berry officiating and Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Harvey died Monday, March 6, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. She was a native of Morgan County and the widow of Charles Evaughan Harvey.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Dianne Brown of Decatur; three sisters, Pearl Johnson of Tellico Plains, Tenn., Lula Johnson of Manchester, Tenn., and Edna Ambrose of Greeley, Colo.; and one granddaughter.
Friends of the family were pallbearers.
Millard McKinley Jones

Funeral for Millard McKinley Jones, 76, of Cullman was Wednesday, March 8, at 1:00 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Milan Dekich officiating.
Burial was in Jones Cemetery in Morgan County.
Mr. Jones died Monday, March 6, 2000, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Morgan County and a retired carpenter. He was the brother of the late Raymond Jones, Jack Jones, Fred Jones, Leona Jones and Margie Payne.
He is survived by his wife, Della Othera (Bobbie) Jones of Cullman; two sons, Roger Jones of Cullman and Jerry Jones of Baldwin; one daughter, Bobbie Denise Brown of Cullman; two brothers, Doyel Jones of Vinemont and Anthony Jones of Cullman; two sisters, Oneida Ennis of Decatur and Virginia Knop of Beech Grove, Ind.; and nine grandchildren.
Reuben Morris Knox

Funeral for Reuben Morris Knox, 80, of Hartselle was Friday, February 25, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Smith officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mr. Knox died Wednesday, February 23, 2000, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was a native of Morgan County and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was retired from Terry Construction Co. as a maintenance mechanic. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Bill Knox, Namon Knox, Truman Knox and Talmadge Knox.
He is survived by his wife, Pearline Royer Knox of Hartselle; one daughter, Betty Ann Knox Wright of Falkville; three brothers, Oscar Knox, Walter Knox and Odis Knox, all of Hartselle; one sister, Laverne Knox Henry of Hartselle; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Chad Henry, Rodney Johnson, Stephen Johnson, Warren Mason, Sherman B. Powell, III and Keith Winchester.
Opal Quattlebaum

A graveside service for Opal Quattlebaum, 92, of Falkville was Wednesday, March 1, at 2:00 p.m. at Lebanon Cemetery in Morgan County with the Rev. A. Ray Lee officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Quattlebaum died Sunday, February 27, 2000, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was a native of Morgan County and a Baptist.
She is survived by three sons, Hershel S. Quattlebaum of Smyrna, Tenn., Shirley (Jake) Quattlebaum of Cincinnati, Ohio, and John Quattlebaum of Eight Mile; three daughters, Wilma Looney of Falkville, Virginia Harber of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Janice Lickliter of Cincinnati; one brother, Delmar Wilcutt of Terre Haute, Ind.; one sister, Cordia Anders of Falkville; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; and four step- great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Craig Powell, Hank Quattlebaum, Jimmie Quattlebaum, Neil Quattlebaum and Bobby Rhoads.
Dean Roberson

Funeral for Dean Roberson, 64, of Falkville will be Thursday, March 2, at 11:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines officiating.
Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mr. Roberson died Monday, February 28, 2000, at his residence. He was a native of Arkansas and was employed by Falkville Siding Company as an installer. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict as sergeant in a field artillery unit.
He is survived by his wife, Movlyn Roberson of Falkville; two sons, Arthur (Dean) Roberson, Jr., of Lehi, Utah and (Howard) Clay Roberson of Falkville; one daughter, Judy Cummins of Decatur; two brothers, Bill Robertson of Lonoake, Ark. And Kenneth Robertson of Atkins, Ark; five sisters, Ruth Oliver of California and Faye Stroud, Betty Hawkins, Irene Vess and Linda Threldkeld, all of Arkansas; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Cummins, Micah Vaughn, Jeff Massey, Frankie Massey, Donald Allred and Jeff Roberson.
