Funeral for Tennie Lou Driver, 89, of Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville was Tuesday, May 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Martin Depreast and Wendell Callahan officiating.
Burial was in Moss Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Driver died Sunday, May 14, 2000, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was a native of Marion County and a Baptist.
She is survived by five sons, Charles Driver and Garland Driver, both of Hartselle, Vertis Driver of Muscle Shoals, Harold Driver of Eva and Carmen Driver of Decatur; one daughter, Elaine Porter of Tyrone, Ga.; 17 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rickey Driver, Mitchell Driver, Michael Driver, Josh Driver, Zackery Sparkman and Rickey Swann.
Ruby Deliah Rose

Funeral for Ruby Deliah Rose, 83, of Falkville was Tuesday, May 16, at 3:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bill Partridge and Nathan Green officiating.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Rose died Sunday, May 14, 2000, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was a native of Morgan County and a singer who conducted a ministry in different churches, nursing homes and hospitals.
She is survived by six sons, Jackson Green of St. Augustine, Fla., Paul Green of Tampa, Fla., George Green of Falkville, Steve Green of Lake Villa, Ill., Eddie Green of Vinemont and Ray Rose of Evansville, Ind; four daughters, Christine Jones of Gray Court, S.C., Marie Beasley of Decatur, Jane McDonald of Hartselle and Judy Rose of Priceville; two brothers, George Wildman of Ft. Worth, Tex. and Jack Wildman of Lake Worth, Fla.; two sisters, Ruth Webb of Ft. Pierce, Fla. and Faye Nolan of Albany, Ga.; 35 grandchildren; and 49 great grandchildren.
Sons were pallbearers.

Funeral for Nellie Nelson Beard, 85, of Danville was Saturday, May 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kennard Devaney and Jack Bailey officiating.
Burial was in Mountain Springs Cemetery in the Bankhead National Forest.
Mrs. Beard died Thursday, May 11, 2000, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was a native of Lawrence County and a member of Falkville Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son, Clark Beard of Decatur; four daughters, Lillie Cagle of Hartselle, Loretta Pierce of Hernando, Fla., Audrey Williams of Decatur & Shirley Hensley of Danville; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; & two great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Starlin Blankenship, James Devaney, Adam Hensley, Jackie Hensley, Marvin Millwood and Jeff Williams.

Funeral for J.D. Kirby, 53, of Trinity was Monday, May 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Billy Robershaw and Bunk Whitlock officiating.
Burial was in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Kirby died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Morgan County and a self-employed mechanic.
He is survived by his wife Joyce Diane Kirby of Trinity; one son, Joshua Aaron Kirby of Trinity; three stepsons, Roger D. Nix of Hartselle and Michael C. Nix and Casey A. Nix, both of Moulton; two stepdaughters, Lisa D. Green of Trinity and Debbie Rutherford of Danville; his mother, Iva May Kirby of Trinity; seven brothers, I.Q. Kirby, Bennit Kirby, James Kirby, Ricky Kirby, Roger Kirby, Clint Kirby and Wayne Kirby, all of Trinity; three sisters, Vera Cannon of Town Creek and Delphine Warren and Merita Hardin, both of Trinity; and seven grandchildren.
Nephews were pallbearers.

Funeral for Vista Vann Self, 99, of Eva was Tuesday, May 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Eva United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brady McCullough officiating. Burial was in Eva Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Self died Sunday, May 14, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was a native of Marshall County, a member of Eva United Methodist Church and a member and Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star . She was retired from Orr Drapery Co., where she was a seamstress. Her husband, Ottis J. Self, preceded her in death, one son, Pack Self; and three daughters, Frann Creel, Wanda McKee and Sue McKelvy
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Woodall of Eva and Andrea Wright of Hartselle; two sisters, Polly Vann and Dora Vann, both of Knoxville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Keith Wright, Dale Robinson, Rusty Blackmon, Scott McKelvy, Joe McKelvy, Steven McKee and John Beard.

Mr. Bonds died Saturday, May 13, 2000, in Haleyville. He was a native of Franklin County and a retired merchant.
He is survived by his wife, Eunice Bonds of Haleyville; two daughters, Christine Ellenburg and Gerry Cole, both of Danville; one sister, Maudie Halcomb of Muscle Shoals; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Funeral for Billy John Sheffield, 70, of Jasper was Monday, May 15, at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home with the Rev. J.L. Bailey officiating.
Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery.
Mr. Sheffield died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at Baptist Medical Center-Princeton in Birmingham. He was a native of Walker County and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Manchester. He was retired from Jasper Police Department, where he served as a lieutenant. He also worked for Jasper Street Department and as a security officer for Kmart. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Veterans of Foreign Wars and York Masonic Lodge 221.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara McMurray Sheffield of Jasper; one son, John Sheffield of Russellville; two daughters, Deborah Colburn of Spruce Pine and Patty Andrews of Hartselle; two stepsons, Rodney Parker of Corner and Harold Knox of Jasper; two stepdaughters, Cindy Helms of Corner and Penny Ferguson of Birmingham; one sister, Ann Richards of Whitewater, Ohio; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
