Funeral for Barney Franklin McNabb, 64, of Decatur was Monday, June 26, at 1:00 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. K.C. Poole officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. McNabb died Saturday, June 24, 2000, at Oak Trace Assisted Living in Holly Pond. He was a native of Georgia and a Baptist. He drove a truck for 43 years and was retired from Consolidated Truck Lines in Forest Park, Ga.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly McNabb of Decatur; two sons, Greg McNabb of Gaithersburg, Md., and Ricky McNabb of Douglasville, Ga.; three daughters, Kelly Avera of McDonough, Ga., Teri Holifield of Pearl, Miss., and Pamela Hester of Hartselle; two brothers, Boyce McNabb and Clyde McNabb, both of Hiawassee, Ga.; one sister, Euzella Gibson of Gainesville, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were W.T. Chandler, Billy Little, Harold Hill, Jimmy Wilson, Dale Hammond and Johnny Chandler.

Funeral for Ruby Jo Austin, 77, of Moulton was Tuesday, June 27, at 2:00 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with the Revs. Jackie Shelton, Ronald Manley and Neil Carter officiating.
Burial was in Moulton Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Austin died Sunday, June 25, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of Marshall County and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Louis W. Austin; one son, Don W. Austin of Decatur; one daughter, Ann Anderson of Hartselle; one brother, Charles Evin Carroll of Moulton; five sisters, Tomer Spears, Nettie White, Margie Wade, Euthema Montgomery and Willene Morrow, all of Moulton; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jan Anderson, Dodd Austin, Blake Austin, L.M. Austin, Dwight Carroll and Sammy Moats.

Funeral for Reva H. Cobb, 78, of Decatur was Thursday, June 22, at 11:00 a.m. at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home with Gary Cardwell officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Cobb died Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of Oklahoma City, Okla., and a member of Flint Baptist Church. She was retired from Goodyear Tire Co. and the widow of Walter Thomas Cobb.
She is survived by one son, Roger Dale Cobb of Danville; two daughters, Monda Jo Beene of Decatur and Syble Gayle Bayless of Petersburg, Tenn.; one sister, Ethel Prater of Hartselle; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Law, Willis Hutchinson, Kenneth Bowling, Mel Maresh, Larry Fristoe and M.L. Robbins.
James Frank Cheatham

Funeral for James Frank Cheatham, 85, of Hartselle was Sunday, August 6, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Kepler officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Cheatham died Friday, August 4, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. He was a native of Lawrence County and a member of Westview Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Mae Cheatham of Hartselle; three sons, Howard Edward Cheatham of Falkville, Hoyt Wayne Cheatham of Decatur and Frank Roger Cheatham of Hartselle; one daughter, Hoyle Faye Cheatham Waugh of Hartselle; one brother, Gordan Cheatham of Decatur; five sisters, Louise Welborne, Marie Moore, Lucy Cheatham, Zella Cheatham and Sarah Osborne, all of Decatur, 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Amanda Lane Lowther

Funeral for Amanda Lane Lowther, 94, of Falkville will be Thursday, August 10, at 12:30 p.m. at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel in Jackson, Miss. with the Rev. Sam Morris officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Peck Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
Miss Lowther died Monday, August 7, 2000, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was a native of Jackson, Miss. She taught school for 42 years and retired from Hardy Junior High School in Jackson. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Mississippi Retired Teachers Association and Kappa Delta Sorority.
Survivors include one nephew, Robert L. Hathorn of Vicksburg, Miss., and 27 great nieces and nephews including Amanda Lane Hampton of Hartselle.

Savannah Cheyenne Johnson

A graveside service for Savannah Cheyenne Johnson of Falkville was Monday, August 7, at 2:00 p.m. at Bell Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Herbert Smith officiating.
The baby died Thursday, August 3, 2000, the day of her birth, at Decatur General Hospital.
She is survived by her parents, Rodney H. Johnson and Phyllis D. Johnson of Falkville; her grandparents, Tommy and Shelia Johnson, Tom and Kathy Sevigny and Johnny and Alice Tidwell, all of Falkville; her great grandparents, Gene and Wanda Watts and Dallas and Ruth Johnson, all of Falkville and Dorthie Hudgins of Hartselle.
Nancy Southern Robinson

Funeral for Nancy Southern Robinson, 81, of Decatur, was Tuesday, August 8, at 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with Mike King officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Robinson died Sunday, August 6, 2000, at her residence. She was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church, taught crafts at the Boy's Club of Decatur and volunteered in the health room at Brookhaven Middle School. She was formerly employed by Decatur Plastics and Tuberculosis Sanitorium.
She is survived by her husband, W.P. "Bill" Robinson, of Decatur; two sons, Bobby Joe Robinson of Hartselle and William "Robby" Robinson of Decatur; one sister, Pauline Willoughby of Rittman, Ohio; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were nephews.
