Funeral for Clarence Gilbert Jester, 75, of Cullman was Wednesday, August 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Wood officiating.
Burial was a Masonic graveside service in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Jester died Monday, August 7, 2000, at Woodland Hospital in Cullman. He was a native of Cullman County and a carpenter. He was a member of the US Army and a veteran of WWII where he spent time in Italy and Germany. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 758 in West Point. He was the father of the late Wayne Jester.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Ann Ray Jester of Cullman; four sons, Wade (Amanda) Jester of Tuscaloosa, Phillip (Tina) Hutson of Wedowee, Stephen Hutson and Phillip Jester, both of Cullman; four daughters, Barbara (Jimmy) Laney, and Betty (Ancil) Wallace, both of Cullman, Freda (Terry) Duskin of Albertville and Lisa (Victor) McGinnis of Holly Pond; one brother, A.B. "Bunk" (Krin) Jester of Cullman; two sisters, Earline (Gilbert) Welch of Hanceville and Orene (Huey) Blalock of Fultondale; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Masons served as pallbearers.
Roy Moses

Funeral for Roy Moses, 89, of Cullman, will be Thursday, August 10, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dudley Brock and Max Hagood officiating.
Burial will be in Lystra Cemetery in Baileyton.
Mr. Moses died Tuesday, August 8, 2000, at Woodland Medical Center in Cullman. He is a native of Cullman County and a plumber. He was the widower of Kathelene Roan Moses.
He is survived by four sons, James Moses of Danville, Kenneth Moses of Hartselle, Joseph Moses of Tuscaloosa and Jerry Moses of Cullman; one sister, Averine Walls of Birmingham; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
Lloyd T. Jones

A graveside service for Lloyd T. Jones, 89, of Hartselle was Monday, July 31, at 3:00 p.m. at Memory Hill Gardens Cemetery in Tuscaloosa with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Jones died Friday, July 28, 2000, at Falkville Health Care Center. He was a native of Morgan County and a member of First Baptist Church in Hartselle and Hartselle Kiwanis Club. He was retired from Liberty National Life Insurance Co. as manager for more than 30 years. He was the widower of Grace B. Jones and the father of the late Bob Jones.
Five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren survive him.
Charles W. Looney

Funeral for Charles W. Looney, 73, of Hartselle was Friday, July 28, at 11:00 a.m. at Basham United Methodist Church with the Rev. Thomas E. Elder officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Looney died Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. He was a native of Morgan County and a member of Basham United Methodist Church. He was a retired maintenance foreman at Fruehauf, where he worked for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Omie Looney of Hartselle; one daughter, Jackie Garrett of Sapulpa, Okla.; one stepdaughter, Tammie Jones of Hartselle; two brothers, James Looney of Memphis and Billy Don Looney of Decatur; three sisters, Bea Woodall of Decatur, Ruby Justice of Florence and Hazel Bullard of Double Springs; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Lott, Thomas Shelton, Gary Foshee, Charles Heard, Larry Martin and Barry Martin.
Lera Vergie Partridge

Funeral for Lera Vergie Partridge, 84, of Decatur was Sunday, July 30, at 2:00 p.m. at Enmondfield Baptist Church in Winston Country with the Revs. Gary Driver and Glenn Wood officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Partridge died Friday, July 28, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was a native of Winston County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Milford Partridge, and a daughter, Nettle Juanita Allen.
She is survived by two sons, Melon Joseph Partridge of Addison and Jerry Charlie Partridge of Athens; one brother, Quentin Hightower of Arley; four sisters, Verna Denton and Maitlen Moore, both of Addison, Venus Andrews of Double Springs and Wanza Sides of California; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steve Partridge, Eric Partridge, James Partridge, Ada Partridge, Danny Harris, Greg Brakeman, Bob Crittenden and Louis Mutch.
James Terry Reeves

Funeral for James Terry Reeves, 32, of Somerville, was Wednesday, August 2, at 1:00 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. A.G. Denard officiating.
Burial was in New Center Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Reeves died Monday, July 31, 2000, at Parkway Medical Center. He attended the Church of God at Somerville and was a truck driver for Diamond Wood Treaters.
He is survived by his wife, Nina Windham Reeves of Somerville; one son, James Terry Reeves, Jr., of Somerville; one daughter, Evette Reeves of Somerville; his parents, James R. and Diann Reeves of Somerville; one brother, Kevin Reeves of Somerville; one sister, Tina Pannell of Somerville; and his grandparents, Roy Reeves and Colleen Reeves of Hartselle and Edna Grantland of Somerville.
Pallbearers were cousins.

The infant died Friday, July 28, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital on the day of his birth.
He is survived by his parents, John Timothy and Pamela Dean Rocha of Somerville; one sister, Carrington Brooke Rocha of Somerville; his grandparents, Charles and Jacqueline Clemons of Somerville and Manuel and Betty Rocha of Decatur; and his great grandmothers, Dean Easley of Decatur and Lillian Clemons of Marvell, Ark.
