Funeral for Lorena Maxine Maze, 64, of Somerville was Saturday, July 1, at 1:00 p.m. at Soul Harbor Baptist Church with the Revs. Ferrell Roberts and Van Wray officiating.
Burial was in Blue Springs Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Maze died Thursday, June 29, 2000, at her residence. She was a native of St. Clair County and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Lacey's Spring. She was the widow of James Louis Maze, sister of the late Ernest Campbell and half-sister of the late Christine Lewis.
She is survived by one daughter, Vickey Maze Daugette of Somerville; three sisters, Mildred Beck of Florida and Mary Everett and Ruth Pendegraph, both of Birmingham; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Charles Boardman, Alvin Morgan, Chad Collins, John Sharp, David Fuller and Freeman Pendegraph.
Members of S.A.V.E.S. Inc. were honorary pallbearers.
James Murray Engle

Funeral for James Murray Engle, 80, of Hillsboro was Thursday, June 29, at 2:00 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with the Revs. David Stidham and Arnold Brackin officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Engle died Monday, June 26, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was a native of Morgan County and a member and deacon of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer and chemical warehouse supervisor for Riverside Chemical in Decatur. He was a World War II veteran and the brother of the late Ruth Engle.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Annie Engle of Hillsboro; three sons, Billy Engle of Hartselle, James B. Engle of Trinity and Roger Engle of Hillsboro; one brother, Robert E. Engle of Somerville; five sisters, Mary James Gerstman of Hartselle, Lillie Mae Siniard and Lee Nelms, both of Lakeland, Fla., Margarite Knighten of Albertville and Gaynell Kent of Decatur; one step-brother, Ronnie King; one step-sister, Mary Alice Suggs; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and six step-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Billy Engle, Jr., Danny Engle, Arie Engle, Dennis Engle, Mike Terry and Keith Harris.
Honorary pallbearers were deacons of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.
Stanley Tory Waldrep

Funeral for Stanley Tory Waldrep, 71, of Moulton was Sunday, July 2, at Pine Grove Holy Church of Christ with the Revs. Waymon Ashley and Keith Jones officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Parkway Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Waldrep died Friday, June 30, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center. He was a native of Lawrence County and a deacon, Sunday school teacher and member of Pine Grove Holy Church of Christ. He was a barber and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Mattie Sue Warren Waldrep of Moulton; two sons, Bobby Glenn Waldrep and Ricky Glenn Waldrep, both of Moulton; one daughter, Linda Waldrep Reeves of Somerville; two brothers, Elliott J. Waldrep of Florence and Franklin Davis Waldrep of Trinity; four sisters, Bonnie Louise Rilley and Barbara Ann Balwin, both of Florence, and Gloria Wynell Hall and Hazel Hope Hall, both of Trinity; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Waldrep, David Bowden, Darren Waldrep, J.B. Blaxton, Jeff Hall, Carlos Hall and Casey Lee Waldrep.
Mildred Hensley

Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Hensley died Saturday, July 1, 2000, at Lawrence Baptist Medical Center in Moulton. She was a native of Morgan County.
She is survived by four sons, William Hensley, Jackie Hensley and Roger Hensley, all of Danville, and Wade Hensley of Hartselle; one brother, James Lynne of New Port Richey, Fla.; and 14 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Heath Hensley, Doyle Hensley, Adam Hensley, Randy Hensley, Kenneth Sanford and Jason Slayton.

Mr. Gillespie died Friday, June 30, 2000, at his residence. He was a native of Morgan County and a retired brick mason.
He is survived by his wife, Archel Lee Gillespie of Decatur; three sons, Davie Gillespie, Tim Gillespie and Darrel Gillespie, all of Decatur; two daughters, Myra Blasingame of Decatur and Angela Oubra of Baton Rouge, La.; two brothers, Austin Gillespie and Loyd Gillespie, both of Priceville; four sisters, FayeWhitt of Athens, and Mary Davenport, Lola Holt and Katie Johnson, all of Decatur; and eight grandchildren.
