Clydie Lucille Lanier Taylor
June 30, 2000
Funeral for Clydie Lucille Lanier Taylor, 85, of Decatur was Sunday, July 2, at 3:00 p.m. at New Friendship Baptist Church with the Revs. Chris Godbee and Burl Oliver officiating.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Shelton Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Taylor died Friday, June 30, 2000, at Decatur General Hospital. She was a native of Morgan County and a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Coleman Taylor of Decatur; three daughters, Margaret Teague of Hartselle, Helen Hawkins of Somerville and Stephanie Taylor of Decatur; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Danny Ward, Ronnie Reeves, Clyde Taylor, Steve Taylor, Jan Corder and Jeff Corder.

William (Bill) Stanton Shadrick
June 28, 2000
A memorial service for William (Bill) Stanton Shadrick, 86, of Sydney, Australia, was Sunday, July 2, at 11:00 a.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Priceville with the Rev. Harold Fanning officiating.
Mr. Shadrick died Wednesday, June 28, 2000, in Sydney. He was a native of Morgan County and a former resident of Somerville. He was a retired electrician and a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. He was the father of the late Wayne Robert Shadrick and the brother of the late Walter Taylor and Clayton D. Taylor.
He is survived by one daughter, Wendy Elizabeth Jordan of Huntsville; one brother, Henry Shadrick of Somerville; one sister, Dolly Tyler of Decatur; and two grandchildren.

Joseph A. Branson
June 29, 2000
A memorial service for Joseph A. Branson, 77. Of Lacey's Spring was Sunday, July 2, at 3:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Al Phillips officiating and Twickenham Funeral Home directing.
Mr., Branson died Thursday, June 29, 2000, at his residence. He was a native of Kansas and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and Masonic Solar Lodge No. 32. He was a retired documentation engineer from NASA and the father of the late Starlene Branson Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Branson of Lacey's Spring; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Verna Lee Iddins

A memorial service for Verna Lee Iddins, 75, of Decatur will be Thursday (today), at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. J.T. Lowery and J.T. Copeland officiating.
Mrs. Iddins died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born November 18, 1933 in Georgia to William Brooks Waters and Dore Annie Mincy Waters.
She is survived by a son, Odell F. Iddins Jr. and wife Debbie of Somerville; a sister, Ruth Waters Hendrix and husband Ralph of Woodbury, Ga.; two grandchildren, Jeremy Iddins and Morgan Kent; and three great-grandchildren, Makenna Kent, Cameron Kent and Landon Iddins.

Earl Streling
June 24, 2009
Funeral for Earl Streling, 87, of Hartselle was Friday, June 26, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joey Coots officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Streling died Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born March 12, 1922, in Michigan to Edmond F. Streling and Ida Hedgestrom Streling. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the V.F.W.
He is survived by his wife, W. Donna Streling of Hartselle; two sons, David Andrew Streling of Hartselle and Edmund Earl Streling of Metamora, Mich.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Edmund Earl Streling, David Andrew Streling, Brandon Prater, Shawn Streling and Joey Harville.

Ruha Lee Roberts
June 28, 2009
Funeral for Ruha Lee Roberts, 89, of Neel was Tuesday, June 30, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Campbell officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Roberts died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at River City Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Nov. 9, 1919, in Morgan County to Grady Lee Newton and Ida Jane Gregory Newton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy F. Roberts.
She is survived by two sons, James Paul Roberts and wife Judy of Athens and Euel Roberts and wife Marsha of Danville; a daughter, Mildred Lake and husband Jimmie of Neel; six grandchildren, Ginger Campbell, Angie Johnson, Leah Taylor, Keith Roberts, David Roberts and Lisa Morgan; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Keith Roberts, David Roberts, Tad Campbell, Jeremy Johnson, Matt Taylor and Tony Morgan.
