Funeral services for Lynne Bonner-Horan of Fincastle, Va., formerly of Reform, were held at 11 a.m. on March 8 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Daleville, Va. with Dr. William E. Baker officiating.
She died March 4 at the age of 39.
Survivors include her husband Christopher Horan, Fincastle; parents Mr. and Mrs. Julian R. Johnson, Reform; mother-in-law, Kathleen Rabke, Warminster, Penn.; grandmother Mary Lee Peeks, Reform; and two brothers, Mark Bonner, Reform, and Dennis Bonner, Roanoke, Va.
Burial was in Pleasant Dale Memorial Park with Rader Funeral Home directing.
Lola Brandon Juergens
Funeral services for Lola Brandon Juergens of Sansing Country Home, Aliceville, were held at 2 p.m. on March 10 at Aliceville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Reeder officiating.
She was a native of the Pine Grove community and was known as “Aunt Lola.” She was a life-long member of the United Methodist Church and was presented a life membership in the United Methodist Women of Pine Grove Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Archie H. Juergens; sister Katie Brandon Potts; and brother Roscoe M. Brandon. She died March 8 at the age of 91 at Pickens County Medical Center.
Survivors include four nieces and nephews, Dot (Joel) Potts Puckett, Carrollton, Frances Potts, Aliceville, Lester (Ethelda) E. Potts Jr., Aliceville, and Wayne (Doris) Potts, Ethelsville; great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael (Susie) Potts, Ethelsville, Janice (Nick) Potts Swendseid, Oberlin, Ohio and Dr. Daniel (Ellen) Potts, Tuscaloosa; and three great-great nieces.
Pallbearers were Verbon Atkins, Delin Fuller, Bobby Eaton, Euell Herring, Mark Randall and Dewey Trapp.
Honorary pallbearers were the members of the Estelle Chappell Sunday School Class of Aliceville First United Methodist Church, Tammy Kent and the staff of Sansing Country Home, Paula Sisty, Sandra Walker, Dr. J.H. Gentry Sr. and Dr. Zakir Patel.

Leroy Latham Jr.
Funeral services for Leroy Latham Jr. of Gordo were held at 1 p.m. March 7 at Christ Temple Apostolic Church with Elder Solomon Byrd officiating.
He was a member of Christ Temple Apostolic Church. He attended Oak Lane Elementary and High School. He enlisted in the military in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1970. He joined the Alabama National Guard in 1973 and was employed at DCH Regional Medical Center, where he worked for 26 years. He died March 2 in Gordo at the age of 57.
Survivors include his wife Shirley Latham, Gordo; daughters Shelia Grover and Natalie (Curtis) Hairston, both of Gordo; sons Tyrone Bunkley, Bernard (Pat) Bunkley, Nathaniel (Jenny) Bryant, all of Gordo; sisters Christine (Joe) McCoy, Ruby Latham, Janice Nicholson, Sharon Latham, and Ruby Latham, all of Gordo; brothers Lewis Latham, Julius Latham, Marvin (Shirley) Latham, all of Gordo and James Abbott Jones, Tuscaloosa; sisters-in-law Mary Middleton and Lorie Griffin, both of Columbus, Ga.; brothers-in-law Walter (Cynthia) Williams, Columbus, Ga. and Sterling (Martha) Williams, Box Spring, Ga.; and grandchildren Justin, Chelsey, Taurean, Tyronn, Shaunessi, Darius, Kayla, Rayla and Nathaniel Jr.

Frank Lawhorn Sr.
Funeral services for Frank Lawhorn Sr. of Gordo were held at 1 p.m. March 1 at Lavender Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Jackson officiating.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eugenia Christina Lawhorn, his mother Fannie Lawhorn White, and three sisters. He died March 1 at the age of 76 at his home.
Survivors include his children, Frankie Lawhorn Jr., Christine Lawhorn, Cynthia Lawhorn, Tyrone Lawhorn, Gloria Lawhorn Crossdale and Glenda Lawhorn, all of Rochester, NY; brother William White, Gordo; sister Sarah Wells, Gordo, eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and close friends Emma Plott, Mrs. Washington, Albert Cook, Westley Hosey, Lee Daniel Howard, Robert Harris and Rev. Jackson.

Larry Sealy
Funeral services for Larry Sealy of Aliceville were held at 1 p.m. March 10 at Lavender Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Robert McKinstry officiating.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1969. He was preceded in death by his parents Mattie Sealy and James (Stod) Latham Jr.; and his brother Danny Sealy. He died March 4 at the age of 50 at the Veterans Hospital in Tuscaloosa.
Survivors include his daughter Cherise Sealy, Brooklyn, NY, grandmother Rosie Lang Sealy, Aliceville; and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

John Robert Ballard
Funeral services for John Robert Ballard of Reform were held at 2 p.m. April 5 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lee Wheat, Rev. James Ballard and Rev. Ken Ballard officiating.
He was a native of Lowndes County, Miss. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, a past president of Knolls Country Club, and a past deacon of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired chief construction supervisor for American Bridge, where he worked on numerous projects, including: the Vertical Assembly Building in Cocoa Beach, Fla., the NASA Space Center in Bay Town, Tex., the Astrodome in Houston, Tex., the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Easton, Md., the Superdome in New Orleans, La., the New River Gorge Bridge in Fayetteville, W.V., the United Nations Buildings in Denver, Colo. and the Seattle Seafirst Building in Seattle, Wash. He was preceded in death by his brothers Carl Ballard, Woodrow Ballard and Henry Ballard; and sister Mary Lou Cooper. He died April 2 at the age of 70 at Pickens County Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Rebecca Skelton Ballard, Reform; daughter Taryn Ballard, Reform; sons Robert Terry (Kris) Ballard, South Bend, Ind. and Carl Thomas (Mary) Ballard, Alameda, Cal.; sisters Hazel Parker, Hueytown, and Ruth Hannah, Mobile; brother Rev. James T. Crossland Sr.
Funeral services for James T. Crossland Sr. of Reform were held at 11 a.m. April 6 at Sunset Chapel with Rev. Mike Hall officiating.
He died April 4 at DCH Regional Medical Center at the age of 73.
Survivors include his daughter Jamie Nicole Crossland, Northport; son James Tilman Crossland Jr., Pensacola, Fla.; and brother Dewey (Maveleen) Crossland, Northport.

George David Farley

He attended school in Liberty. He attended Ethelsville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father David F. Farley. He died April 3 at the age of 59 at his residence.
Survivors include his mother Georgia Farley, Aliceville; brother Joe (Frances) Farley, Columbus, Miss.; sister Peggy (Raymond Sr.) Perrigin, Kennedy; and four nephews and four nieces.

Lucille Guy Harris
Funeral services for Lucille Guy Harris of Huntsville were held at 11 a.m. April 2 at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chester Free and Rev. James F. Posey officiating.
She was a native of Pickens County, where she lived until 1965. She then moved to Huntsville where she resided until her death. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Harris and two grandchildren. She died March 29 at the age of 86 at Windsor Nursing Home.
Survivors include her daughters Catherine Hamilton, New Hope, Ala., and Lois Bonner, Huntsville; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Gloria Bernice Hester
Graveside services for Gloria Bernice Hester of New Jersey were held at 11 a.m. March 27 at Riverside Cemetery with Deacon Frank officiating and Kedz Funeral Home directing.
She was a lifelong member of the Catholic faith. She died March 24 at the age of 80 at Crystal Lake Healthcare in Bayville, NJ.
Survivors include her daughters Gail (Fred) Follmer, Dahlonega, Ga., Mary (Thomas) Zinnanti, Alpharetta, Ga., and Jo Ann (Larry) Clark, Carrollton; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were sonsinlaw. Honorary pallbearers were staff and friends at Crystal Lake Healthcare, Cheryl Canada and Jim Kedz.
Glenn Jemison
Funeral services for Glenn Jemison of Gadsden were held at 2 p.m. March 24 at the Lavender Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Napoleon Coleman officiating.
He was a member of Franconia CME Methodist Church. He graduated from Aliceville High School in 1974 and joined the army. After service, he pursued training in the area of automotive repair. He was preceded in death by his son Glenn Jr. He died March 20 at the age of 44 in Aliceville.
Survivors include his wife Lucille; children Genesa, Candra, Glenn II, Isaiah and Jason; parents Flocella Jemison Miniard and Emmitt Wilder; brother Jimmie Miniard Jr., Aliceville; sisters Sandra (Silas Jr.) Hill, Tuscaloosa, Marcy Jemison and Georgette, Gwendolyn and Felicia Miniard, all of Aliceville, and Margie Hampton, Huntsville; aunts Alice (Woody) Young, Selma, Constance (Earlie) Windham, Lawton, Okla., and Ethel Wilder, New York, NY; uncles Wallace (Flora) Jemison, Tuscaloosa, and William Jemison, Jackson, Miss.; greataunts Mary (Sammie) Wilder, Aliceville, and Margie Hampton, Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Walter T. Miller Jr.
Funeral services for Walter T. Miller Jr. were held at 11 a.m. March 30 at New Wright M.B. Church with Rev. Robert W. Jackson Jr. officiating.
He was a 1953 graduate of Summerville Industrial High School. He was a member of New Wright Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired from Alabama Power. He died March 23 at the age of 69.
Survivors include his parents Walter Sr. and Lizzie Miller, Carrollton; daughter Janie S. (Bobby) Hughes, Aliceville; grandchildren Sarenna Sterling and Tebuise Hughes, both of Aliceville; great-grandchildren Dellin and Azariah Sterling, both of Aliceville; sister Katrine Salmond, San Diego, Cal.; brothers Riley J. (Loretta) Miller, San Bernadino, Cal. and Quentin (Anita) Prude, Aliceville; caretaker Lillie Williams, Birmingham; and several nieces and nephews.
