Funeral services for Maggie Mae Puckett of Carrollton were held at 11 a.m. April 3 at Carrollton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Maxwell officiating.
She was a native of Monroe County. She was a member of Carrollton First United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband John Taylor Puckett Sr.; and granddaughter Lynn Blair. She died March 31 at the age of 96 at her daughter's residence in Grove Hill.
Survivors include her daughters Margaret (Martin) Byars, Mobile, and Sara Knight, Grove Hill; sons John Taylor Puckett Jr., Carrollton, Tommy (Marjorie) Puckett, Alabaster, and Solomon (Mary Ann) Puckett, Kingston, Tenn.; grandchildren Joe, Marsha Lynn, Robbin, Ann, Jean, Wanda, Pam, Cathy, Janet, Tim, Rita, Tom, Tammy, David, Bill and Joey; 31 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
Burial was in Carrollton City Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
Julia Mae Cousette
Funeral services for Julia Mae Cousette of Aliceville were held at 12 noon April 11 at New Salem Baptist Church with Rev. W. A. Hinton officiating.
She was a native of Aliceville. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Cliff Cousette; and sons John Henry, Sam-mie Lee and Robert Earl Cousette. She died recently at the age of 89.
Survivors include her daughter Sara Mae (Robert) Williams, Cleveland, Ohio; goddaughter Mary Jane McCaa, Aliceville; brothers Wil-lie (Geraldine) Manning, Birmingham, Tommy (Hat-tie) Cunningham and Tho-mas Cunningham, Bessemer, and Clement Richardson, Portland, Ore.; sisters Mag-gie Lean, Milwaukee, Wis., Lula Cunningham, Aliceville, Mary Hood, Lillie Cunningham, Burdie Allen, Mattie Cunningham and Addie Lee Cunningham, all of Bessemer; daughters-in-law Mary Frances Cousette, Aliceville, and Angie Cousette, Gordo; 29 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Carol Sue Hall
Graveside services for Carol Sue Hall of Gordo were held at 11 a.m. April 10 at Elmore-Center Springs Cemetery with Rev. James F. Posey, Rev. George Fields and Rev. Ricky Mitchell officiating and Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Ricky St. John. She died April 8 at the age of 56 at DCH Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband Wayne Hall, Gordo; sons Ronnie (Debbie) St. John and Raymond St. John, Holman, Ala.; grandchildren Joey St. John, David St. John and Ronnie Lee St. John Jr.; and uncle Bill Gray, Berry.

Clara Swope Halstead

She was a long time resident of Birmingham. She died April 10 at the age of 85 at Glen Haven Nursing Home.
Survivors include her sisters Elizabeth Hoffman, Mobile, Ruth (Harry) Rives, Montgomery, and Elouise Hocutt, Jasper; brothers Sam (Pat) Archibald, Tuscaloosa, and Lewis "John" (Fannie) Archibald, Gordo.

Eula Lee Jones Howard

She was a native of Panola. She was a member of Rome CME Church where she was active on the Usher's Board and the Refreshment Committee. She was preceded in death by her husband Alex Howard, Jr. She died recently at the age of 73.

Mildred Robertson Hudson

She was a member of Sardis Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Bennie Lewis Hudson; sons Sonny Hudson and Marvin Hudson; and sister Dottie Robertson. She died April 14 at the age of 73 at Glen Haven Nursing Home in Northport.

Bobby Darnell Little
Funeral services for Bobby Darnell Little of Aliceville were held at 2 p.m. April 18 at Emory Chapel CME Church with Rev. John Billups officiating.
He was a graduate of Aliceville High School in 1990 and received various awards for his achievements in football. He later joined the USMC and served in the Persian Gulf War assisting in MOS Motor Vehicle Operations. He was stationed in Camp Lejeune, NC. He served for four years active duty and three years reserve duty. He was preceded in death by his son DeQuan O. Ford. He died April 12 at the age of 30.
Survivors include his sons DeQuavis L. Ford, DeRel R. Ford and DeRonnie D. Ford, all of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter Amber Faye Gibson, Aliceville; mother Annle K. Little, Aliceville; father Bobby Craig, Aliceville; sisters Charlotte Little, Cassandra Little, Angela Craig, Sanoma Craig and Lakeba Craig, all of Aliceville; brothers Kenya Little, St. Louis, Mo., Torrice Little, Deon Reed and Justin Craig, all of Aliceville and Tavoris Wright, Pickensville; grandmothers Lillie Mae Little and Alice Craig, both of Aliceville; grandfathers Steve Craig, Aliceville and Iven Sanders, Detroit, Mich.; six aunts; six uncles; special cousin Rex Bernard Little; and several nieces and nephews.

Curtis T. Taylor
