Dr. John Burl Davis, 71, of Jesup, Ga., formerly of Donalsonville, Ga., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Mr. Lonnie Walker Jr., of Graceville, Fla., passed away Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, in Campbellton-Graceville Hospital. He was 65. He was a native of Alabama but lived most of his life in Graceville and was a member of New Easter Missionary Baptist Church. Jennifer Atwell, loving wife, mother, and friend passed into eternity to be with the Lord on Monday, Aug. 5, 2002, after a brief illness. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but her parting will leave us all with fond memories of an energetic, cheerful, friendly, spontaneous and loving woman who made our lives the better for having known her.

Burnice Craft Walworth, 82, of 238 Odom Road, Columbia, died late Saturday night, August 3, 2002, at her home following a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 6, 2002, in the Haleburg Baptist Church with Reverend David Cook and Reverend Bobby Skipper officiating. Burial will follow in the Haleburg cemetery with Holman-Headland Mortuary directing. Mrs. Walworth was born in Henry County, near Columbia, and was the daughter of the late Arthur Leonard Craft, Sr. and Mattie Calloway Craft. She was a 1941 graduate of Houston County High School in Columbia. Mrs. Walworth lived in Augusta, Georgia for thirty-two years before moving to Columbia in 1984. She was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Mrs. Walworth was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Marsha Harrison Walworth; three sisters, Reba Aplin, Eunice Kirkland; Nettie Ruth Carter and two brothers, Bill Craft and J.B. Craft.
