James Rudolph Culver, 92, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2003 in a hospital in Texas.
Graveside services will be Friday, Sept. 26, at Rainbow Memorial Park in Gadsden. The family will receive friends 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Collie Butler Funeral Home will direct.
He was born Feb. 12, 1911 and lived in Gadsden and Guntersville until he moved to Texas in 1993. He was a 1943 graduate of Auburn University and prior to retiring in 1978, was an employee of the State of Alabama. He was of the Baptist faith.

Ralph Hart, 81, of Boaz, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003.
Services will be Friday, Sept. 26, at 2 p.m. at Rowan McRae Chapel with Rev. Tony Gunter officiating. Burial will follow at Old Clear Creek Cemetery with Rowan McRae Funeral Home, Boaz, directing.
Born Oct. 12, 1921 to George Eddie and Mettie Wimberly Hart, he was a veteran of World War II. A retired mecanic, he served as an administrator for both the Brewton Hospital and Sand Mountain Infirmary. He was an avid Alabama football and Atlanta Braves fan.
