Vernon Wilbur Black, 91, of Crossville, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at Albertville Nursing Home.

Services were Feb. 4, at Albertville Memorial Chapel with burial in Mt. Flat Cemetery. The Revs. T. E. Bartlett, Joe Davis and Alan Lang officiated. Albertville Memorial Chapel directed.

Cornelius

Verna Mae Cornelius, 83, of Albertville, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Huntsville Hospital.

Services will be Friday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Marshall Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Chris Corrnutt will officiate. Adams Brown Service will direct.

Fletcher

Dewey L. Fletcher, 83, of Crossville, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at Marshall Medical Center South.

Services are today, Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The Revs. Farrell Blanks, Wayne Tarvin and Joe Bowman will officiate. The church choir will sing. Crossville Memorial Chapel will direct.

Graham

Robert Hershel Graham, 70, of Fort Payne, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at Crowne Health Care.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Wilson Funeral Chapel will handle arrangements.

Stott

Lillie Stott, 73, of Albertville, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, at Huntsville Hospital.

Services were Feb. 4, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Cemetery. The Revs. Donald Cotten and Howard Earl Lafevor officiated. Adams Brown Funeral Home directed.

Mayfield

Ralph Wendell Mayfield, 71, of Albertville, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at Baptist Montclair Hospital.

Services are today, Saturday, Feb. 7, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Gene Lambert and Morris Stephens officiating. Burial services will follow in New Harmony Cemetery in DeKalb County with Adams Brown Service Funeral Home directing.

Noel

Stephen Andrew Noel, 36, of Boaz, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2004.

Services will be today, Saturday, Feb. 7, at 11 a. m. at Rowan McRae Chapel with the Rev. Shannon Pullen officiating. Burial services will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Rowan McRae Funeral Home will direct.

Taylor

Grace Oneal Littlejohn Taylor, 89, of Florida, formerly of this area, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Services will be today, Saturday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. at Langston United Methodist Church. The Rev. Laura Golden will officiate. Burial services will follow at Langston Cemetery. Visitation will be between 12-2 p.m. today at the church.

Graham

Adam D. Graham, 27, of Crossville, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at his residence.

Services were Friday, Feb. 6, at W.T. Wilson Chapel with services directed by W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel of Rainsville.

Roden

Infant Gregoire Joseph Roden, 11 days, of Boaz, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at Women and Children’s Hospital in Huntsville.

Services will be today, Saturday, Feb. 7, at W. T. Wilson Funeral Home with burial services to follow at Hopewell Cemetery. W. T. Wilson Funeral Chapel will direct.

Michael

Infant Chelsea Mae Michael, 7 weeks, of Albertville, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at Marshall Medical Center South.

Services will be Sunday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Burial services will follow at Beulah Cemetery. Adams Brown Service Funeral Home will direct.

Williams

Carol Kelly Williams, 41, of Albertville, died Monday, March 29, 2004, at her residence.

Services were Wednesday, March 31, at Hewett Memorial Methodist Church with burial services following at Eason-Johnson Cemetery. The Revs. Jonathan Watts, Bill Ethridge and Jerre Rhodes officiated. Adams Brown Service Funeral Home directed.

Hollifield

Martha Jeanette Hollifield, 84, a resident of Collinsville Nursing Home, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at DeKalb Baptist Medical Center in Fort Payne.

Mass and Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham at the convenience of the family. Announcement is made by W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel of Rainsville.

Hayes

Mary Loretta Creel Hayes, 86, of Guntersville, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at Marshall Medical Center North.

Services were Tuesday, March 30, at Adams Funeral Home with the Revs. Jonathan Watts and Henry Golson officiating. Burial services followed at Oak Grove Cemetery of Horton. Adams Brown Service Funeral Home directed.

Otwell

Luther Otwell, 72, of Albertville, died Sunday, March 28, 2004.

Graveside services were Wednesday, March 31, at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Southside with the Rev. Willard Hefner officiating. Albertville Funeral Home directed.

Patterson

Susan Thompson Patterson, 55, of Albertville, died Sunday, March 28, 2004, at her residence.

Services were Wednesday, March 31, at First Baptist Church in Albertville with burial services following at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Hartselle. The Revs. Mike Johnson, Lucky Teague and Dr. T. Reynolds Hall officiated. Collins-Burker Funeral Home of Jasper directed.

Shirley

Olga Belle Walker Shirley, 73, of Boaz, died Sunday, March 29, 2004, at Marshall Medical Center South.

Services were Wednesday, March 31, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Revs. Gary Williams and Donnie Beck officiating. Burial services followed at Mt. Zion Church Cemetery with Rowan McRae Funeral Home in Boaz directing.

Ashley

Elba Ashley, 84, of Dawson, died Thursday, Feb. 12, at the DeKalb Baptist Medical Center South.

Services are today, Saturday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m., at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Mountain View Memory Gardens. The Revs. Ray Kittles and Charles Dixon will officiate. Harris Funeral Home of Geraldine will direct.

Dabbs

Cecil Dabbs Sr., 86, of Albertville, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004, at Albertville Nursing Home.

Services were Feb. 13, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with burial in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Wayne Tarvin officiated. Harris Funeral Home directed.

McGee

Milton McGee, 84, of Albertville, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004 in Huntsville Hospital.

Services are today, Satuday, Feb. 14, at Albertville Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m.,with burial in Memory Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Randy Dorsett officiated. Albertville Memorial Chapel directed.

Ford

Billy Rayford Ford, 68, of Guntersville, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004, at his residence.

Graveside services are today, Saturday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. at Crestview Cemetery in Guntersville with Bishop Ricky Maddox and the Rev. Will Siscell officiating. Rowan McRae Funeral Home, Boaz will direct.

Born Aug. 14, 1935 to Thomas Jackson and Bessie Cagle Ford, he was a heating and air conditioning technician.

Hill

Truman Ray “Pee Wee” Hill Jr., 38, of Boaz, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Riverview Regional Medical Center.

Services were Feb. 13 at Maryville FCM Church with the Revs. Greg Jacobs and Gary Stanfield officiating. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery. Rowan McRae Funeral Home, Boaz directed.

Born May 15, 1965 to Truman Ray Hill Sr. and Roberta Brown Hill, he was formerly a roofer.

Jimmerson

Julian Kelin “Dude” Jimmerson, 81, of Snead, died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2004, at his residence.

Graveside services were Feb. 12 at Zion Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Howard Jenkins officiating. Snead Funeral Home directed.

Born June 9, 1922 in Blount County, he was the son of the late Henry Thomas and Mary Lou Ella (Tuck) Jimmerson.
