Brian Akins, 31, of Jackson, Ga., formerly of Ft. Payne, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004.
Services will be today, Saturday, Nov. 20, at Walkers Chapel Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Visitation will be between noon until 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Sister Elaine Hollmer will officiate. Wilson Funeral Chapel will direct.

Domenic Eugene Berard, 66, of Albertville, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, in the Marshall Medical Center South.
Services will be today, Saturday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m., at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Nov. 19, 5:30-8 p.m. Marshall Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Bryant
Arvilla Bryant, 67, of Chattanooga, Tenn., died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, in a local hospital.
Services were on Thursday, Nov. 18, in the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Willis Kelly officiating. Burial followed in Hamilton Memorial Garden. North Chapel Funeral Home directed.
She worked in radio for stations WDEF and WDOD for more than 25 years.

Luman Cecil East Jr., 53, of Boaz, died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, in Boaz.
Services will be Monday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m., at Carr Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Painter officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening, 6-9 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Cemetery. Boaz Carr Funeral Home will direct.
Kloeb
Lt. Col. Retired William Charles Kloeb, 88, of Columbus, Ga., died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004.
Graveside services with military honors were Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Main Post Cemetery in Ft. Benning, Ga., Striffler-Hamby Mortuary of Columbus, Ga. directed.
Born Feb. 19, 1916 in Ohio, he joined the 107th National Guard Calvary following high school. Assigned to the 91st Division in North Africa, he served in Sicily in the Italian Campaign until the end of World War II, during which he received the Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, two Purple Hearts and other distinguished awards. Recalled again to serve in the Korean War, he received another Bronze Star. Upon retirement from the Army in 1962, he worked for the Civil Service and finished his tour as the coordinator of the Main Post Alcohol and Drug Control program.
