Allen Rutherford, 74, of Crossville, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at Marshall Medical Center South.

Kenneth “Bo” H. Stover, 48, of Arab, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at his residence.
Memorial services were Sunday, Dec. 5, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Edsel Calhoun officiating. Gober Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Born in Boaz on August 31, 1956, he was the son of O.M. and Mary Stover.
Ford
Ray Millard Ford, 79, of Attalla, died Thursday, June 30, 2005, in Altoona.
Services will be today, Saturday, July 2, at 2 p.m., at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery in Altoona. The Revs. Charles Brown, John Owen Garnet, and George Knott will officiate. Visitation was Friday, July 1, between 5:30-9 p.m. Etowah Memorial Chapel will direct.
He was a life-long resident of Etowah County and deacon of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Reba and David Conner of Attalla; son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. Garry and Jane Ford of Altoona; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ella Mae and Ross Oliver of Georgia, Betty and Ruben Fowler of Gadsden, and Marie Hathcock of Gadsden.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Ford.
Pallbearers will be Neil Ford, Nathanael Ford, Joseph Estes, John Walker, Mack Vaughn, and Reggie Rowan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Anderson and Gadsden Regional Hospice.

Arlene Gregory Lane, 78, of Gadsden, died Thursday, June 30, 2005.
Graveside services will be today, Saturday, July 2, at Marshall Memorial Gardens, at 11 a.m. with the Revs. George Creel and Terry Bentley officiating. The family received friends Friday, July 1, from 6-8 p.m., at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.
She was retired from the Gadsden Board of Education, teaching most of her life at R. A. Mitchell Elementary School. She was a member of Christ Center Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher and member of United Methodist Women.
Survivors include her husband, Clifton Everrett Lane of Gadsden; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Clifton and Delaina Lane of Birmingham; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Lane of Plantersville, Miss.; daughter and son-in-law, Myra Lynn Lane and Tim Anderton of Rainbow City; four grandchildren; sister, Myra Gregory Creel of Albertville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Parker and Tinnie Lumpkin Gregory; brothers, Horace, Marvin, Welton, Lowell, Hobert, and L. P. Gregory.

Vermalene White Walker, 49, of Crossville, died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, in Crossville.
Services will be today, Saturday, July 2, at Liberty Baptist Church at 11 a.m., with burial in the church cemetery in Painter. Visitation was Friday, July 1, 5-8 p.m. Adams Brown Service Funeral Home will direct.
A member of Liberty Baptist Church, she was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the National Association of Postmasters of the United States, and a member of Mountain Lakes Resort.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Floyd Walker of Crossville; sons, Gregory Breedwell of Muscle Shoals and Corey Chase Walker of Arab; two grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Lynn Mathis, Beverly Ann Wilson, and Eva Joyce Thompson, all of Crossville, Theresa Fay Hardin of Dallas, Texas, and Allison Marie Wade of Geraldine.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Vernon White; and her first husband, Lamar Breedwell.
Pallbearers will be John Collins, Brandon Wade, Lee Overton, Ray Walker, Thomas Young, and Kevin Morgan.

Mate Abbott, 94, of Crossville, died Thursday, May 12, 2005, at the Crossville Health Care Center.
Services were Saturday, May 14, at the Skirum Baptist Church with burial in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Billy Smothers officiated.
She was survived by several nieces and nephews.
