Brenda Taylor, 53, of Rainsville, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at Erlanger Hospital.
Services will be Thursday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m., at Nazareth Baptist Church, with the Revs. Roger Graham and Gary Haymon officiating. Burial followed in Kirk Memorial Gardens with Rainsville Funeral Home directing. Visitation was Wednesday, Oct. 26, 5-9 p.m.
Survivors include her husband, Urias Taylor of Rainsville; son and daughter-in-law, Hugh and Jennifer Taylor of Rainsville; brothers, Rickey Nance, Dwight Nance, and Scott Nance, all of Fyffe, and Steve Nance of Fort Payne; sisters, Wanda Smith of Henagar, and Cathie Bailey of Fyffe; three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ty Eliot Taylor.
Walden
Jeanette Dennis Walden, 89, of Boaz, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, at Albertville Nursing Home.
Services were Tuesday, Oct. 25, at McRae Chapel with the Revs. Mike Springfield and Keith Dodd officiating. Burial followed in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Born to James Washington and Fannie Curry Dennis, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James and Betty Walden of Boaz; daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Arnold Smith of Georgia, Sharon and Doug Heaslet of Tennessee; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Thurman Dennis of Douglas, and bobby Dennis of Montgomery; sisters, Jean Kelly of Tennessee, Ann Whitfield of Sylvania, and Polly Pidcock of Texas.
Pallbearers were David Smith, Matthew Smith, Clark Smith, Damon Smith, Tyler Smith, and Jeff Bachelor.
Honor pallbearer was Eric Smith.
Bolding
Irvin Bolding, 78, of Boaz, died Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, from pneumonia.
Services are today, Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 11 a.m., at the Adams Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Carey Sims officiated.
The son of the late Claude and Mamie Bolding, he attended Marshall County High School and was a member of the early sports program. After graduation, he served in the Korean War and attended Jacksonville State University after his return. Retired from L.T.D. Steel after 30 years, he was a part-time painter by trade and enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing, as well as sports, for which is most associated. He served as an official and referee for many years. He was a Mason, and volunteer with the COC and Marshall Medical Center South Cancer Center until his failing health prevented him from participating. He was also involved with various fundraisers and charities. He was a member of Pine Grove No. 1 Baptist Church.
Blann
Louis Franklin Blann, 91, of Albertville, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, at Marshall Medical Center South.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Grove Oak with the Rev. Gene Lambert officiating. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 16, from 6-8 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Albertville.
After living most of his life in Las Vegas, he retired to the Albertville area in the early 1990s.
Denson
Betty Lou Denson, 67, of Horton, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 16, 2005 at the Albertville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Douglas Cemetery with the Rev. John Edward and the Rev. Rudy Baker officiating. Albertville Funeral Home directed the services.
Denson loved the outdoors, working in her garden and flowers. She enjoyed quilting, canning and cooking.
Campbell
Amos B. Campbell, 83, of the Nixon Chapel community, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005, at his residence.
Services were Sunday, Sept. 18, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel of Albertville with the Rev. Glen Pankey officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
He was retired from General Motors in Cleveland, Ohio.
Survivors include his wie, Imogene Farmer Campbell of the Nixon Chapel community; daughters, Nancy L. Concord of Nauvoo, Glenda S. Skipper of Vincent, Brenda James of Oneonta, and Arline Bernard of Albertville; sons, William B. Campbell of Burnsville; step-children, Geneva Staton of Walnut Grove, Terry Staton of Albertville, Freddie McWhorter of Albertville, Cynthia Jones of Boaz, Jerry McWhorter of Boaz, Maz McWhorter of Douglas, and Wade McWhorter of Boaz; 37 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren.

Paula Kay Baker Allen, 55, of Albertville, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2005.
Graveside services were Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Union Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Bailey officiating. Albertville Funeral Home directed.
Survivors include her sons, the Rev. Kevin Norton of Trion, Ga., Tracy and Alana Norton of Albertville; parents, Buford and Louise Baker of Attalla; brother, Kenneth Baker of Attalla; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Abercrombie
Glenn Abercrombie, 78, of Albertville, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at Marshall Medical Center South.
Services will be today, Saturday, Sept. 24, at 11:30 a.m., at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cliff Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery.
An employee of United Technical Laboratories, he was a communications engineer and Vice President of the Washington Division. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Albertville, treasurer of the Albertville Civitan Club, a Hospice volunteer, member of a ham radio club, a former pilot and member of the OAR Board in Washington D.C. He helped build WAVU and spoke the first words on the radio station.
Cornelius
Gurther Dale (Girt) Cornelius, 81, of the Highmound Community, died Friday, Sept. 23, 2005 in Boaz.
Services were Sunday, Sept. 25, at Snead Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Travis Connors, Elder Phillip Gilmore and Brother Tony Simmons officiating. Burial was in Zion Hill Cemetery.
Born in Blount County, he worked for the Marshall County Board of Education as a school bus driver.
Bolton
Doris Bolton, 86, of the Skirum Community, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, at the Albertville Nursing Home.
Services were Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Graham officiating. Burial followed in the Skirum Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Jimmy Williams of Crossville; sons and daughters-in-law, Jackie Neal and Pat Bolton of Albertville and Jimmy Lynn and Theddie Bolton of Chattanooga; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Marshall Baugh Jr., 20, of Crossville, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005.
Services will be Saturday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m., at W. T. Wilson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Russell Pinion officiating. Burial will follow at Old Fairview Cemetery.
A 2004 graduate of Geraldine High School, his hobbies included playing and coaching basketball and deer hunting.
Survivors include his parents, Marshall Lee Baugh Sr. and Clara Dean Baugh; sisters, Tracey Lee Peppers of Albertville, Laura Diane Harris of Boaz, Marsha Len (Cliff) Crawford of Douglas, Crystal Michelle (Mark) Orr of Painter; grandmother, Elois Dean of Albertville; and five nephews.

James Rayford Brothers, 71, of Albertville, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, at his residence.
Services will be today, Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Adams Funeral Home, at 11 a.m., with the Revs. Mike Johnson and Willis Kelly officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Hill Cemetery. Visitation was Monday night, 5-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
A 1951 graduate of Albertville High School, he was valedictorian of his class and a graduate of Snead College. Employed by Chester F. Rains from 1953-1983, he was owner of Brothers Insurance and held many positions in the Sand Mountain Civitan Club. He was an ordained deacon for many years and a faithful member of a local Southern Baptist Church.

Sarah Lee Brothers, 91, of Horton, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, in Boaz.
Services will be today, Thursday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m., with Elder Rickey Harcrow officiating. Burial will follow at Douglas Cemetery. Albertville Memorial Chapel will direct. Visitation was Wednesday evening at the funeral home, at 5:30 p.m.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Bernice Greer, Helen and Larry Lambert, all of Horton; sons and daughters-in-law, James Russell and Loretta Brothers Sr. of Scottsboro, Nolon and Jackie Brothers of Mobile, Woodrow and Jane Brothers of Albertville, and Lowell and Penny Brothers of Douglas; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.

Elsie Estelle Dickson Conley, 80, of Albertville, formerly of Bellevue, Neb., died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005.
Services were Friday, Oct. 7, at Union Chapel United Methodist Church with the Revs. J. H. Robison and Cliff Moore officiating. Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery. Gober Funeral Home directed.
Born in Union Grove April 20, 1925, she was retired from Civil Service. She was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.

Emily Gipson Rudolph Courington, 82, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, following a brief illness.
Services will be today, Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 3 p.m., at Adams Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Hamlett officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time for the services.

Wallace O’Neal Cameron, 75, of Guntersville, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Mich.
Services were Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Guntersville Memorial Chapel with burial in Clear Springs Cemetery. The Revs. Bobby Madden and Bill Renfroe officiated.
Survivors include his wife, Iva E. Cameron of Guntersville; daughters, Judy Howard of Sterling Heights, Mich. And Darlene Gallant of Albertville; sons and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Teresa Cameron of Dawson and Tony Cameron, formerly of Guntersville; brother and sister-in-law, Rex and Ann Cameron of Guntersville; and four grandchildren.

Willodeen Austin, 78, of Grove Oak, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at Marshall Medical Center South.
Graveside services will be today, Saturday, Oct. 15, at 11 a.m., at Hopewell Cemetery in Geraldine. W. T. Wilson Funeral Chapel will direct.

Bobby Ray Batchelor, 61, of Boaz, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2005, at Branchwater Village Apartments in Boaz.
Services were Sunday, Oct. 16, at Crossville Memorial Chapel with burial at Belcher’s Chapel Cemetery in Crossville. The Revs. Bucky Holsonback and Jimmy McCormick officiated.
The son of Lula Sarratt and Joe C. Batchelor, he was retired from the military.
Survivors include his daughters, Donna Batchelor of Crossville and Pam Jefferson of Huntsville; sons, Billy R. Batchelor of Albertville, Kenneth J. Batchelor of Huntsville, and Steven M. Batchelor of Boaz; sisters, Jane Rutledge and Margie Smith, both of Crossville; brother, J. D. Batchelor of Crossville; and three grandchildren.
