Frank Lewis, 44, of Sylvania, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at Huntsville Hospital.
Services will be today, Thursday, Oct. 20, at 4 p.m., at Rainsville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in Town Creek Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday, 8 a.m.-9 p.m.
Survivors include his parents, Floyd and Jeanette Lewis of Sylvania; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Debby Lewis of Sylvania; sisters, Tinna Clark of Sylvania and Kim Lewis of Fort Payne; grandmother, Bessie Lewis of Section; two nieces; special aunt, Bea Pullen of Pisgah; several cousins; and his very special companion, his faithful dog Bear.
Chattin
Cheryl Chattin, 37, of Carlisle, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005.
Services will be Sunday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m., at Albertville Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tim Posey and Jeff Stanford officiating. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery near Snead. Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 22, from 5-8 p.m.
She was a cashier and in sales at a grocery store and loved car racing. She attended the Gospel Truth Lighthouse Church in Gadsden and was a member of the church drama team as well as singer of gospel music.
Bearden
Joe B. Bearden, of Whittier, Ga., formerly of Fyffe, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005.
Services were Monday, Oct. 24, in Whittier, Ga.
Survivors include a daughter, Nanlyn Bearden of Whittier, Ga.; sisters, Louis McGee and Correne Frasier, both of Fyffe; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Bearden.

Dura Lee Jordan Ballew, 84, of Albertville, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005.
Services were Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Willis Kelly officiating. Burial followed at Marshall Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Terrell Keith and Ann Jordan; sister, Eva Carter; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Albert Jordan and Floy Ballew; mother, Elena Eve Baggett Gibbs; father, Cass General Harrison Gibbs.
