CW4 (Retired) Michael J. Madden, 69, of Daleville died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at his home following a brief illness. Wade Junior Cooper, 71, of Enterprise, formerly of Opp, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan after an extended illness. The funeral will be 3:30 p.m. today at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Keith Ellis, the Rev. Cliff Quincey and the Rev.George Abbott officiating. Mr. Gerald Rucker passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2002, in Hartford. He fought a brave battle with cancer. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Rucker was born Nov. 5, 1957, and was the sixth of seven children. He will be dearly missed by his family. All that knew him will remember his outgoing spirit. He always had a smile for everyone.
Daron Lee Gordon, 25 of Iron City, Ga., went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 8, 2002, at the Donalsonville Hospital.
