Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Grace Community Church on Hwy 278 in Holly Pond. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery in Morgan County. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at Arab Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Murphree, a member of the Joppa Church of God was born May 26, 1948 in the state of Alabama to Jesse Tyler and Mary Davis Tyler. She is survived by four daughters: Rhonda Miller of Blountsville, Donna Wilson, Jessica Goss and Regina McMurry all of Arab, one son: Gwen McMurry of Blountsville, twelve grandchildren, two sisters: Hazel Terrell of Morgan City and Opal Mooneyham of Somerville and three brothers: David Tyler, Richard Tyler of Arab and Oliver Tyler of Huntsville and was preceded in death by two brothers: Howard Tyler and Delbert Tyler and by her parents: Jesse and Mary Tyler.

Mr. Curtis B. Williams, Jr. - age 61 - of Wallace Road, Arab, passed away Tuesday night in the Marshall Medical Center North ER. Graveside service�was held 3 p.m. Thursday from the Arab Memorial Cemetery.
Curtis Williams, Jr. was born February 9, 1944 in Cullman County, Alabama to Curtis B. Williams, Sr. and Norma Plunkett Williams. He died Tuesday night, December 13, 2005, at the Marshall Medical Center North ER. He was a retired educator having taught at Huntsville High School and Susan Moore School. Served has principle at Carlisle Park Middle School and Arab High School. He was also a Business Owner and Farmer. He was a member of the Arab First United Methodist Church. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife: Laura Jane Williams, two daugthers and sons-in-law: Lane & Lenny Franklin, Laura & Dewon Farmer; two sons and daughters-in-law: Trey & Melanie Williams, Corey & Corinne Williams; six grandchildren: Sara Beth & Landon Farmer, Will & Drake Franklin, Corley & Curt Williams; Step Mother: Betty Williams; Step Brother: Lee Cox; Host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
The family has requested in Lieu of Flowers to please make donations to the Curtis B. Williams, Jr. scholarship fund at Wachovia Bank.

Mr. Ashburn was born June 27, 1952 in Tennessee to James Casto Ashurn and Mary Goldie DeRossett Ashburn. He is survived by 2 Sons & Daughter-in-law: Joseph & Laura Ashburn of Arab and Nick Ashburn of Arab; Mother: Mary Ashburn of Florida; 2 Brothers: James Casto Ashburn, Jr. and Jimmy Wayne Ashburn both of Florida; 9 Sisters: Mary Reeves, Bobby Joe Bates, Wanda Ellis, Pattie Wolford, Kathy Thomas all of Florida, Jackie Ashburn of Mississippie, Jeanett Bolinger, Bonnie King and Carolyn Bryant all of Tennessee; two grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Murphree was born October 6, 1931 in Alabama to Claude Murphree and Bessie Cason Murphree. He was retired from Empire Gas. Alvin is survived by his Wife: Minnie Murphree�of Joppa; Daughter & Son-in-law: Teressa & J. D. Campbell of Arab; 4 Sons and Daughters-in-law: Roger & Pam Murphree of Cornersville, TN, Allan & Janette Murphree of Joppa, Stanley & Rhonda Murphree of Joppa, Scott & Shannon Murphree of Arab; 3 Brothers: Frank Murphree of Joppa, Bobby Murphree of Baileyton and Bill Murphree of Cleveland; twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ted Lee Green , age 63, of 12th Ave NW, Arab died Sunday night in Huntsville Hospital. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Arab -Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Arab Memorial Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Green will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Green was born in Dutton, Alabama on March 14, 1942 and was married to the former Alma Tolbert for 42 years. He was District Manager for Southern Management. Mr. Green is survived by his wife Alma Green , 2 daughter and their husbands: Denise and Ron DeBaugh of Texas and Tawana and Courtney Vickers of Arab, 2 sons and their wives: Ted and Cynthia Green and Tim and LeAnn Green all of Arab; his mother Mildred Dalrymple of Sommerville, 7 grandchildren, 1 brother, 2 sisters, and a hosts of special friends and loved ones.

Mr. Robert A. Cooley, 73 of Shoal Creek Road, Arab died Wednesday evening at Marshall Medical Center North. Funeral services were held Friday at 2:00 p.m., Feb. 3, 2006 at the Arab Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Sweet Home Cemetery. Visitation was held on Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m. Mr. Cooley is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Mahan Cooley. He was a retired bus driver for the Marshall County School System and a farmer. Other survivors are son and daughter-in-law: Tony and Mary Cooley, daughter and son-in-law: Becky and Ed Jones, 2 Sisters: Martha King and Margaret Booth, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grand child. He was preceeded in death by a son, Tim Cooley, 1 sister, and 3 brothers

Polly was born May 12, 1927 in Morgan County, Alabama to Albert Roden & Thelma Morrow Roden Cannon. She was a homemaker and member of New Salem Baptist Church. She is survivied by her husband: William Grady Irvin of Somerville; Daughter: Karen Jaquess of Huntsville; Son: Rickie Irvin of Somerville; Brother: Harold Gene Roden of Georgia; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mr. Hasque Hudson Russell - age 79 of Panama City Florida and formerly of Arab, passed away Wednesday morning, February 1, 2006, in the Gulf Coast Medical Center, Panama City, Florida. Funeral Service was 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2006 here at Arab Memorial Chapel with Burial in the Gilliam Springs Cemetery, Brother Phill Baker officiating and Arab Memorial Chapel directing. Visitation for Mr Russell was also on Sunday, February 5, 2006 at our funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Russell was born in Decatur, Alabama November 23, 1926 to William Joseph Russell and Lyda Grace Pomerlin Russell. He served his Country in the United States Air Force, was a retired mechanic and was married to the late Joan Marie Guilmette Russell who was born February 9, 1934 and died February 7, 2002. Mr. Russell is survived by a daughter Joannie Wesley of Florida, two sons: James W. Russell of Chattanooga and Edward Patrick Russell of Albertville, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one brother: Floyd Russell of Chattanooga.

Manuel Rex Bunch was born in Marshall County, Alabama, April 13, 1926; the son of Ernest and Lillie Bunch. He was a Life Long Resident of Marshall County, spending his career working in configuration management at NASA.
Rex is survived by his Wife: Josephine Bunch of Guntersville; a Son: Danny Ray Bunch of Union Grove; a Grandson: William Rex Bunch; Brothers: J.C. Bunch and Wife, Virginia of Arkansas and Hubert Bunch and his Wife, Sarah, of Enterprise; and Sisters: June Neeley of Birmingham, Mary Limperis and her Husband, Jim, of Arab, Maxine Doney and her Husband, Robert, of California, and Louise Johnson and her Husband, Buck, of Georgia. Rex was preceded in death by his Parents: Ernest and Lillie Bunch and Brothers: John D. Bunch and Olan Bunch.

Service for Mrs. Gilley will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at Carr's Chapel-in-the-Pines with Bro. Jason Kirkland officiating, Carr Funeral Home directing. Visitation for Mrs. Gilley will also be at Carr Funeral Home on Thursday, April 10, 2008 from 12 to 2 pm.
Lois King Gilley was born in Guntersville, Al in Marshall County, January 31, 1949; the daughter of William A. King and Marzell Thomas King. She was a Life Long Resident of Guntersville. Mrs. Gilley served for many years as a Treatment Aide at Cedar Lodge, here in Guntersville.
Lois is survived by her Husband: Wayne Gillley of Guntersville; Son: Bill Gilley of Chelsea, Al; Brother: Billy King of Tuscumbia; and Sister: Sandra Blankenship and her husband, Wayne, of Pell City, Al. Lois was preceded in death by her parents: William and Marzell King.

Eddleman, Lauren - Miss Lauren Eddleman, age 17 of Grant, died Sunday, February 3, 2008 from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Lauren's visitation will be Tuesday, February 5, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at the Grant First Baptist Church. The body will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, at the Grant First Baptist Church. The service conducted by Bro. Tim Verhine will begin at 2:00 p.m. Inerment in Freehome Cemetery will follow the service. Grant Memorial Chapel directing.
Lauren is survived by her parents, Rod (Janice) Eddleman of Grant and Alisha (Harold) Fennimore of Grant; brothers, Riley Eddleman, Jacob Fennimore; a sister, Grace Fennimore; grandparents, Jimmy (Deboray) McAllister of Athens and Sandra (Jim) Riggs of Scottsboro; uncles Patrick (Rhonda) McAllister and Jerry Bevel; and, aunts Susan and Nellie Eddleman.

Bartlett, Frances Lucille - Mrs. Frances Lucille Bartlett of Grant passed away Tuesday, January 29, at the Highland Medical Center in Scottsboro. Mrs. Bartlett was 79 years of age. A Memorial Service was held at the Grant Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 30, at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Anthony Barnes officiating.
Mrs. Bartlett was survived by a son, Alan (Robin) Bartlett of Grant, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a sister, Marlene Denny of Grant. Two sons, Joseph Lee Bartlett and Thomas Daniel Jones, preceded Mrs. Bartlett in death.
