Mrs. Mims died August 2.
Survivors include her sons, Richard Clyde Mims of Jemison, Jefferson Will Mims of Clanton, Tracy Wayne Mims of Samatha and Daniel Hallard Mims of Clanton; her daughters, Susan Mims Garrett of Clanton, Janet Mims Knotts of Clanton and Cathy Mims Smith of Calera; her brother, Grady Ellison of Pleasant Grove; sisters, Dorothy Porter of Pelham, Maxine Glass of Talladega and Carol Ann Cost of Clanton; 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Clyde Mims.
Maude C. Abbott
Services for Maude C. Abbott, 98, of Alabaster, are today, Wednesday, August 4 at First Baptist Church of Alabaster at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bill Johnson and Rev. Mike Byers officiating. Charter Funeral Home will direct.
Ms. Abbott died July 31 at St. Vincent's Hospital.
Survivors include her daughter, Voncille C. Jones; a son, Randy Abbott; grandchildren, Nancy Thomason Rabren, Mary Beth Smith, Dale Ducic, Jeannie Jones and Julie Wright, six great grandchildren, six great-great granchildren; several nieces and nephews, other family members and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Jewell Aldridge and Melba Thomason.
Michael Carmon Caudle
Services for Michael Carmon Caudle, 44, of Alabaster, are Thursday, August 5 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. wit Rev. Gary Voyles officiating.
Mr. Caudle died August 2 at Shelby Medical Center.
Survivors include his father, Carmon Caudle of Jemison; his mother, Alma Caudle of Jemison; his sister, Carol Jones of Jemison; and his nieces Wendi Jones of Gulf Shores and Brandi Baker of Clanton.
Basil Frank Clark
Services for Basil Frank Clark, 74, of Clanton will be Friday, August 6, at Lomax Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with Rev. Harold Clements officiating.

Mr. Clark died August 3.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Clark of Clanton; his sons, Basil Frank Clark, Jr. of Montevallo and Thomas Wayne Clark of Clanton; his daughter, Alicia Jane Matthew of Kissimee, FL; his brother, Bill Clark of Sylvia, NC.; and eight grandchildren.
Cecil H. Davis
Services for Cecil H. Davis, 89, of Clanton, will be Friday, August 6 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel at 3 p.m. with Rev. Ottis Ratliffe and Rev. John Clifton Davis officiating.
Mr. Davis died August 4 at Chilton Medical Center.
Survivors include his daughter, U.L. Gore of Clanton; his grandson, Chris Gore of Tuscaloosa; and his great-grandchild, Alyssa Gore of Tuscaloosa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donnie Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Harold Cunningham. '
