Services for Mablene C. Price , 57 of Clanton, are today at Martin Funeral Home Chapel at 3 p.m. Burial will take place at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Rev. Charles Christmas will officiate.
Price died on Friday, Jan. 9 at her home on County Road 53 in Clanton. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Walker of Clanton, her grandson Price Walker of Clanton, her granddaughter Karis Walker of Clanton, her mother, Norene Coggins of Clanton and her aunt, Alma Smith of Clanton.
Elzadie Allison
Services for Elzadie Allison, 100 of Maplesville, were held Saturday, Jan. 10 at 1 p.m. at New Convert Baptist Church in Maplesville. Rev. Daniel Bishop officiated and Agee Brothers Funeral Home directed. Burial took place at the New Convert Baptist Church cemetery. Allison died on Jan. 2.
Survivors include one daughter - Hazel Ware of Clanton, one son - J.D. Allison of Birmingham and one sister, Essie Mae Anderson. She had 56 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great grandchildren.
Tommie Lee Willis
Services for Tommie Lee Willis, 57 of Alabaster, were held Saturday, Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. at Agee Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial took place at the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Thorsby. The Rev. Jessie Lykes officiated and Agee Brothers Funeral Home directed. Willis died on Jan. 3.
Survivors include one son - Curtis L. Smith of Portland, Ore., one daughter - Dianne Willis Wilson of Portland, Ore., one sister - Vera Oliver of Thorsby and three grandchildren.
Judge Johnson, Jr.
Services for Judge Johnson, Jr., 47 of Maplesville, were held on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Burial took place at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Rev. L.C. Young officiated and Agee Brothers Funeral Home directed. Johnson died Jan. 6.
Survivors include his mother - Mattie Nix, one brother - Robert Gentry, three aunts - Ivie Nix, Pinkie Nix, and Thelma Johnson, three sisters-in-law, godmother - Helen Morris and friend Earnestine Agee Talley.
Leon Stoudemire
Services Leon Stoudemire, 90, were held on Saturday, Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. Willie F. DeJarnett officiated and Agee Brothers Funeral Home directed. Stoudemire died on Jan. 3.
Survivors include two sisters - Gertrude Stoudemire and Airlee Lewis, and two brothers - Edgar Stoudemire and Henry Stoudemire.

Services for Martin Van Edwards, 81, of Clanton will be held Jan. 14 at 3 p.m. at Martin Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Lomax Church of Christ with Reverend Darryl Fuller officiating.
Visitation will be today, Jan. 13 at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.
Survivors include his sons, Warren Edwards of Jemison and Martin Edwards of Helena; daughters, Delores Green of Weogulfka, Linda Thomas of Billingsley, Donna Morgan of Clanton and Phoebe Deason of Pensacola, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Edwards was the son of Van Buren and Clara Frazier Edwards.
Donna Epperson Hathaway
Services for Donna Hathaway, 52, of Brierfield will be held today, Jan. 13 at 11 a.m. at Rocko Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery with Reverend Tony Smitherman officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Steve Hathaway of Brierfield; sons, Chris and Jason Epperson of Brierfield; mother, Clydie Ruth Little of Clanton; sister, Judy Moss of Clanton; brother, Wayne Little of Huntsville and grandchild, Jordan Epperson.
Brenda Gayle Hayes
Services for Brenda Hayes, 50, of Thorsby, were held Jan. 12 with burial at Martin Memorial Cemetery. Reverend Rust Jones officiated.
Mrs. Hayes, a homemaker, died at Chilton Medical Center Jan. 10.
Survivors include her husband, George Hayes of Thorsby; sisters, Charlotte Barr and Sandy Easter ling of Clanton; brothers, James, Donald, Dale and Gene Barr, all of Clanton.
Mrs. Hayes was the daughter of the late James and Ellen Barr.
Pauline Blackwell Mosley
Services for Pauline Mosley, 83, a long-time resident of Mineral Springs, were held Jan. 5 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery in Pelham. Reverends Rudy Guess and James bailey officiated.
Survivors include her daughter, Katherine Bellenger; sons, Talmadge, Jimmy and William Mosley; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Leon Bert Mitchell
Services for Leon Mitchell, 67, of Lawley, will be held Jan. 15 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Number Two Baptist Church. with burial at the church cemetery. Reverend James Deloach will officiate.
Visitation will be held today, Jan. 14 from 5 - 8 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Mitchell, a foreman with the county road department, died at his home Jan. 13.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou Mitchell of Lawley; sister, Allene Mims of Jemison; brothers, Kenneth Mitchell of Jemison and Jerry Turnipseed of Birmingham and step-son, David White of Lawley.
Mr. Mitchell was the son of Elbert and Cozy Lee Mitchell.
Cecil J. Riggins
Services for Cecil Riggins, 69, of Clanton, will be held today, Jan. 15 at 3 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery and Reverends Willie Littleton and Zack Bates will officiate.
Mr. Riggins, a carpenter, died at Brookwood Medical Center Jan. 13.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Kate Riggins of Clanton; sons, Ty and Mike Riggins of Clanton; daughter, Cathy Al'Khaateeb of Pinson; brothers, Owen and Louen Riggins of Clanton; sisters, Louise Bates of Clanton, Lorene Mims of Clanton and Irtis Blackwell of Clanton and seven grandchildren.

Raymond Vernon Sturrup
Services for Raymond Sturrup, 84, were held Jan. 10 at Forest United Methodist Church with burial in Harpersville Cemetery. Reverend Mike Sahler officiated.
Mr. Sturrup, a veteran and former President of the East Central Mississippi Development District for 32-years, died at Lackey Memorial Hospital Jan. 7.
Survivors include his daughters, Margy Graham of Natchez and Betty Stephens of Clanton; sons, Frank and Mike Sturrup of Forest, Miss.; grandchildren, Kirk Graham of San Antonio, Brent Graham of Baton Rouge, Bron Stephens of Gardendale and Shelly Stephens of Clanton.
Mr. Sturrup was the son of Franklin and Madge Sturrup.
Earl Simpson Perry
Services for Earl Perry, 81, of Birmingham, will be held today, Jan. 16 at 2 p.m. at the Chestnut Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Chestnut Creek Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Matt Hawkins officiating.
Mr. Perry, a printer, died at Baptist Princeton Medical Center Jan. 14.
Survivors include his sons, Chris Perry of Pinson, Mike Perry of Stanton; brothers, Ellie Perry of Valrico, Fla. and Cletus Perry of Plant City, Fla.
Mr. Perry was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Zeigler Perry.
George Herbert Rhodes
Services for George Rhodes, 57, of Lawley, will be held Saturday, Jan. 17 at Ebenezer Baptist Church Number Two. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Danny Rasberry officiating.
Mr. Rhodes, a newspaper carrier, died at his home Jan. 15.
Survivors include his wife Sandra Rhodes of Lawley; sons, Jamie and Michael Rhodes of Clanton; daughters, Kathy Rhodes of Clanton and Renee Santos of Clanton; step-sons, Kevin, Tony and Kenneth Smith of Maplesville; step-daughter, Emily Walker of Selma, Sarah Smith of Maplesville; mother, Katie Rhodes of Maplesville; brother, Delton Rhodes of Randolph; sisters, Shirley Vines and Faye Smith of Clanton and 15 grandchildren.
Mr. Rhodes was the son of George and Katie Rhodes.
