Services for Thomas Kemp, 57, Gate City, Va., will be held at Colonial Funeral Home in Gate City, Va. at 8 p.m.
Burial will follow at Holston View Cemetery in Weber City, Va. with reverend Will Shewey and Darryl Dockery officiating.
Mr. Kemp, a career serviceman, died Jan. 14 after a long bout with cancer.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Kemp of Gate City; daughter, Rhonda Biggins of Mexico Beach, Fla.; sons, Thomas Kemp of Lakehurst N.J. and Jason and James Kemp of Gate City; grandchildren, Caden Kemp of Missouri, Kyle Biggins of Mexico Beach; step-mother, Louella Kemp of Thorsby; sisters, Helen Swanson of Kinston, N.C., Dena Hamilton of Clanton, Pat Huffstetler, Annette Moates, Anita Kemp, all of Thorsby; Cherry Lawrence of Clanton, Linda Abbott of Green ville, S.C.; brothers, Donald Kemp of Clanton, Michael Temple of Green ville, S.C.
Mr. Kemp was the son of Thomas Kemp and Lois Fulmer Temple.
Donald Gene Rains
Private services were held for Donald Rains, 61, of Jemison.
Mr. Rains, a brick mason, died Jan. 13.
Survivors include his children, Lisa Saldana of Jemison, Martha Burnette of Clanton, Jeffrey Rains of Clanton; grandchildren, Joshua Saldana, David Rains, sisters, Rose Stephens, Starlet Trent and Su Anna Roody, all of Indianapolis.
Pearl Agnes Gunn
Service for Pearl Agness Gunn, 97 of Athens, are today at Union Grove Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Union Grove Community Cemetery. Johnny Bowman will officiate the service and Martin Funeral Home is directing. Gunn died Jan. 15 at Limestone Health Facility in Athens. She was a homemaker.
Gunn is survived by her son - Roger Lee Gunn, Sr., of Athens, her granddaughter - Dr. Jacqueline Gunn Chouinard of Atlanta, grandsons Lee Gunn of Thorsby and Adam Lee Gunn of Athens, great-grandchildren Cameron Gunn of Thorsby, Taylor Gunn and Madison Gunn.
Nancy Earline Burnett
Service for Nancy Earline Burnett, 79 of Selma, are today at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Clanton at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Martin Memorial Cemetery. Wayne Craft will officiate the service.
Burnett died Jan. 16 at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters Carolyn Sue Chism of Selma, Mrs. Dale House of Guntown, Miss., and Melissa Fugua of Antioch, Calif. Burnette is also survived by her sons Charles Herndon of Oxford, Miss., and Lamar Long of Shannon, Miss. as well as her sister Laura Lee Smith of Houston, Texas, 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
James W. Glass
Services for James W. Glass, 72 of Vincent, were Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Roland Davis officiated the service. Glass died Jan. 15 at 55 Cornerstone Court in Vincent. He was self employed.
Glass is survived by his brother-in-law Tim Slate of Montgomery, his aunt Lou Welch of Hoover, uncles Carl Cooper of Vestavia Hills and Robert M. Cooper of Vestavia Hills, his aunts Katsy Lambert of Birmingham, Laura Mae Hammock of Clanton and Eather Lee Blockwell of Clanton. He is also survived by his cousin, Billy Jo Glass.
Kason Garrett Cole
Services for Kason Garrett Cole, four months of Jemison, were Saturday graveside at Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
Royce Ellison officiated and Martin Funeral Home directed. Cole died at Children's Hospital in Birmingham.
The infant is survived by his father and mother - Jason Earl and Kelley Diane Foshee Cole of Jemison, his sister - Kelson Cole of Jemison, his grandmother and grandfather - Terry and Steve Gray of Jemison, his grandfather - Larry "Buck" Foshee of Verbena, his grandfather and grandmother - Wayne and Delane Cole of Jemison.
He is also survived by his great-grandparnets Rena Foshee of Jemison, Audie Warren of Jemison, Hazel Warren of Jemison, Dorothy Cole of Atlanta, Ga., and Hazel Smith of Jemison.
Ernest Louis "Ernie" Rollan
Services for Ernest Rollan, 58, of Eastaboga will be held today, Dec. 31 at World Alive International Outreach in Coldwater, Ala. Burial will follow at Trapp Family Cemetery in Eastaboga with Reverend Kent Mattox officiating.
Mr. Rollan, a retired Navy officer, died at his home Dec. 28.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Rollan; sons, Robert Rollan of Clanton and Luke Mixon of Raleigh, N.C.; daughter, Jennifer Tobin of Pensacola; grandchildren, Andrew Helverson, Terry Mixon, Anna Nicole Lintini, Jacob Rollan and Chase Rollan; sisters, Elizabeth Lathem of Munford, Diane Easterwood and Marie Bentley of Eastaboga; brothers, Bobby Rollan, Ralph Rollan of Clanton, and Matthew Trapp and Henry Trapp of Eastaboga.

Mr. Langston, a carpenter, died at his home Dec. 28.

Herman B. Edwards
Graveside services for Herman Edwards, 86, of Clanton, will be held today, Dec. 31 at Martin Memorial Cemetery. Reverend Aaron Ellison will officiate. Mr. Edwards, a painter, died at Russell Medical Center Dec. 29.
Survivors include his daughter, Sandra Green of Wilsonville; sons, Jimmy Edwards of Clanton; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ila Mae Johnson
Services for Ila Johnson, 91, of Billingsley, were held Dec. 21 at Martin Funeral Home. Burial followed in New Cedron Baptist Cemetery in Billingsley with Rev. Bruce Payton officiating. Mrs. Johnson, a homemaker, died at Resurrection Life Center Dec. 19.

Mrs. Miller, a school bus driver, died at Shelby Baptist medical Center Dec. 28.

Shirely Alfaro, 55, of Jemison, died Dec. 28 at her home.

Essie Lynda Headley
Services for Essie Headley, 61, of Clanton, were held Dec. 29 with burial at Martin Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Headley, a homemaker, died at her home Dec. 26.

John Osmond Wyatt
Services for John Wyatt, 88, of Clanton were held Dec. 29 with burial at Concord Baptist Cemetery. Reverend Doug Powell officiated.
Mr. Wyatt, a farmer, died at Perry county Nursing Home in Marion Dec. 26.
Survivors include his brother, Addis Wyatt of Clanton; two nieces, two nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.
