Mrs. Byars, a homemaker, died at her home Dec. 26.

Services for T. J. Lockhart, 77, of Jemison, will be held today, Dec. 28 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Midway Memorial with Reverends Aubrey Wallace and Jim Moates officiating.
Mr. Lockhart, former mayor of Jemison, died Dec. 24 at Brookwood Medical Center.
Survivors include his sisters, Audrey Pairette and JoAnn Boswell, both of Clanton.

Gertrude "Gertie" Jones
Services for Gertrude Jones, 90 of Clanton, were held Tuesday at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. She was buried at New Harmony Primitive Baptist Cemetery.
She died Dec. 22, on her birthday. She was a wharper attender.
She is survived by her son, Rickey L. Jones, a daughter - Mary Frances Smith, three sisters - Gladys Hardiman, Dimp Jones Gillispie and Annie McCrary. She is also survived by one brother, Clarence Robinson, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Johnson, a homemaker, died at Resurrection Life Center Dec. 19.
