Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Carroll. He is survived by his beloved spouse of 44 years, Gina Carroll, Prattville, AL; one daughter, Janet (Duke) Innes, Prattville, AL; one son, Michael (Karla) Carroll, Prattville, AL; two sisters, Faye (James) Williams, of Florida, Ida Higgins, of Tennessee; one brother, Pete Carroll, Sylacauga, AL; five grandchildren, Toni, Adam, Kole, Coleman, and Chance. CHILDS, Christine Green, affectionately known and loved as “Chris,” died peacefully at her home in Autaugaville, AL, on Friday, October 12, 2007, at the age of 71. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 15, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Reverend Fred Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Childs and her husband owned and operated The Wishing Well and The Eye Site. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bill Childs; one daughter, Sharon Childs; one son, Gary (Margaret) Childs; four grandchildren, Jeramie Childs, Jason Childs,
Allen Lewis, and Jessie Smith; one great-grandchild, Preston Childs; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Bunch, Mattie B., 71, a resident of Marbury, AL, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 5, 2007, at her residence. Burial will follow, in Pineview Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Bunch was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and James O. Hicks; and one granddaughter, Angel Brock. She is survived by her beloved spouse of 51 years, T.O. Bunch; four sons, Leslie O. Bunch, David W. Bunch, Ronald K. Hennessee, and Darrell G. Bunch; two daughters, Regina C. (Gerald) Edwards and Kay Brock; five granddaughters, Gerina Cantrell, Kristy McReynolds, Heather Bunch, Misty Garner, and Dana Hennessee; eight grandsons, Billy Brock, Kelly Edwards, Brian Brock, Michael Bunch, Brandon Bunch, Casey Bunch, Blake Bunch, and John Bunch; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins. James Raymond Callen
James Raymond Callen, a resident of Fort Deposit, died on Friday, April 11, 2008. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home on Sunday, April 13, 2008 with the Rev. Eric Jackson officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Interment followed at Ruple-Davis Cemetery in Minter.
Mr. Callen was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Crum Callen Sr. ad Marianne Gibson Callen. He is survived by: his wife, Marcia Davis, daughter, Elizabeth Callen of Montgomery; sister, Beth Callen (Allen) Woodard of Andalusia; brothers, Jack (Jeanne) Callen Jr. of Greenville, Scott (Kindal) Callen of Lowndesboro and Malcolm (Rebecca) Callen of Fort Deposit, six nieces and eight nephews.
Geneva Barger
BARGER, Geneva, 85, of Prattville, AL, passed away at home, on Friday, February 8, 2008. Mrs. Barger was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben and Lula Mae Barger; two brothers, Jewel Barger and Leon Barger. She is survived by three sisters, Melba Donaldson of Bessemer, AL, Vera Donaldson (Harland) of Montgomery, AL, and Nola Pond (Roland) of Prattville, AL; three brothers, Junior Barger (Joyce) of Cottondale, AL, Linvell Barger (Shirley) of Northport, AL, and Vester Barger (Wanda) of Hayden, AL, and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn Harris Hargrove, 78, a resident of Greenville, died Thursday, April 10, 2008 at her daughter's residence in Ariton.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2008 from the First Baptist Church in Greenville with the Rev. Tim Patton and the Rev. Randall Johnson officiating. Interment followed in Magnolia Cemetery with Harrison Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include: a daughter, Felecia Beasley of Ariton; a son, Cyril M. Hargrove of Greenville; stepdaughters, Bonnie Faye Fuller of Anchorage, Alaska, Reta Gail Tisdale of Montgomery and Patricia Davis of Franklin, N.C.; sister, Ela Harris of Phoenix, Arizona.; brothers, LA Harris of Blackshear, Ga. and Lamar Harris of West Palm Beach, Fla., four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Aldridge, Alan Dale, 54, a resident of Deatsville, AL, died at Jackson Hospital on Saturday, December 31, 2005, after an extended illness. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2006, at 3:00 p.m., from Robinson Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Kelly and Alan Ferguson officiating. He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah M. Aldridge, Deatsville, AL; one son, Alan Dale Aldridge, Jr., Suffolk, VA; one daughter, Ashley Aldridge Weyer, Due West, SC; five grandchildren; Taylor, Hunter, Austin, and Hannah Aldridge, and Matthew Weyer; parents, Virginia and James Aldridge, Union City, GA; two brothers, Gary Aldridge, Carrollton, GA, and Mark Aldridge, Aloha, OR.
